So for those of you criticizing me for "Regurgitating AB content" I was waiting for the drama surrounding him to end to make a high quality documentary on him. Which showed his moments in the early part of his career. This isn't a news video. Its a career overview on one of the greatest rags to riches stories, and a cautionary tale. I hope you guys enjoy because I have plenty of other content to bring you all this week. This just took a long time to put together.

I'm 100% convinced that head trauma is the reason he's completely different now. I suffered a severe concussion about 11 years ago and it was hell. It changed me. I had almost no short term memory for 2 years. To this day, I don't remember much during that 2 year period other than being depressed. If AB had multiple concussions (after the first, it's much easier to have more), his brain is damaged. Maybe not permanently, but definitely for a few years. I feel bad for him and hope he gets better.

YOUR issues, as unfortunate as they are, doesn't justify Brown's erratic behavior. Lot's of athletes experience similar head trauma & don't start acting like total jerks: It's what's within, & it was who he was. The women in his life BEFORE that one hit in a game could prolly testify to that.

It doesn’t take a psychiatrist to see the number one issue that caused the change in his personality. His fear of abandonment made him work extremely hard to become a player who people would respect and love but he didn’t always receive the respect that he felt that he had earned. That made him feel let down by people he considered to be friends and they basically abandoned him just like his parents. The hits to his head may have made him realize that he was doing more than enough and taking way to much risk for people who don’t appreciate and love him. He lashed out and resorted to crazy tactics to get attention that he desired. He pushed people away rather than let them be the one to let him down emotionally. I love you AB.

As a Bengals fan, I agree with you. That hit by Burfict was dirty, it didn't need to happen, and I'm also convinced that's where things went downhill for AB. And like you, I also hope he gets his life together and finds peace and happiness. He's still young and has a lot of life left to live. Whatever he decides to do, I sincerely wish him all the best.
I will, however, respectfully point out that it's kind of the pot calling the kettle black for Steeler fans to refer to other teams' players as "thugs" , considering that your team once employed James Harrison, Troy Polamalu, Ryan Shazier, and Hines Ward. Not trying to start trouble, just wanted to point that out.

No, the Burfict hit definitely could not have helped matters when it comes to AB and his health. BUT this narrative that some people are trying to spin, conveniently chalking AB's ridiculous and unpredictable behavior----all his brazenly selfish/flaky/narcissistic tendencies----up to a single concussive incident is quite a stretch. Let's be honest, AB is a terrific football player who always gave everything he had on the field, but he was always a self-obsessed diva (even for a star WR) at the best of times. Ask Mike Tomlin, who made it clear that the public had "no idea" just how much of a headache AB was to coach, since his antics were largely kept in-house and under wraps.
Boiling all of AB's issues, all his baggage down to that one hit strikes me as naive, misguided apologism; it doesn't take into account what was already known about his character long before that game. It also ignores other examples of guys like Davante Adams, Wes Welker, or even Junior Seau (RIP Junior, we know 100% beyond any doubt he suffered from advanced CTE after he volunteered his brain to science). Adams has taken similarly vicious hits to the head more than once, and yet not only does he still perform at the highest level... HE STILL ACTS AND BEHAVES LIKE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. Same goes for Welker (whose career was cut short by head injuries), Junior Seau, *or the untold number of other NFL players, active and retired, that suffered serious TBI's during their careers without transforming into clownish me-first me-always headcases!!*

A documentary of this nature does most certainly require all of statistics the incidents both good and bad. I have seen what heights a person can reach. What got him to that level. Brady could make rookies look good on the field even when the chemistry has not had the time to mature. A wide out that can make second nature receptions without knowing a complete set of formations and reads is second to none. He had taken synergistic connection with Brady. Thank you so much for a great documentary on AB.

His career didn't go downhill, he was in the league almost 15yrs. That's more than most players ever play in the NFL. Everyone gets old and slower, the antics he pulls is just keep the attention away from him just getting older and slower. Nobody wants their career to end, he just doesn't know how to take it.

Brain injuries are so complex and unpredictable... the only way to counter it is constantly to keep it under surveillance via MRI and EEG. Then carefully balancing medication, therapy and other treatments, maybe even surgery. Even then there's no guarantee for recovery.
