Both my sister (sun in Virgo) and her eldest daughter (sun in Libra) gave Mercury in Libra. In my experience, Mercury in Libra types are not very academic at all, rather they tend to be more sporty and athletic. Also, they tend to be very indecisive and have a ton of trouble making a quick decision. Libra us the air that gives direction.
