  • I met up with my friends Michael Jai White (Spawn, Black Dynamite, The Dark Knight) and Omar Sy (Lupin) at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas.
What a great experience to be able to learn some stuff from these great guys and also teach them some things as well. Looking forward to training with them again really soon!

The punch with all your weight and strength behind it, that is telegraphed and dodged? Or the not so hard, but not telegraphed and connected punch? This is why Bruce Lee often fought southpaw, because he figured the punch most likely to hit is your jab, so he fought left handed so the jab with his right hand would be stronger.

That non telegraph drill still amazes me, I wonder can you do the same from a conventional boxing stance (high guard)

High guard not so much because your muscles tensed when in that position. When you have a low guard it is the opposite. If you want good example Of this look at Izzy, Conor, or Sean omally

the point of the drill is to make your jab straight with less fidgeting from your joints. straight punches are the best, they always beat hook punches and uppercuts.
