Hi Aman, as a lorry driver it’s good to see a driving instructor who is respectful of drivers of large vehicles. There’s nothing worse when you are trying to do a manoeuvre and cars drive right up close to you not giving you any space. “We don’t know what he’s doing so we are going to give all the space he needs” is the right attitude. I see so many videos of driving instructors teaching their students to be fearful of HGV’s and creating this adversarial relationship on the roads which isn’t right. But you did a great job as always Savannah is doing well under your tuition.
I relate to Savannah so much ! I feel like she’s stuck in the cycle of trying to be more confident but taking opportunities that are not so safe. I think once she builds on her confidence and starts believing herself she will smash a test. You can tell she has the skills and can be a good safe driver. I think like me certain situations overwhelm her… once you get that license things don’t actually feel so overwhelming xx
Same here, had 45hr driving and my instructor just sent me home to relax and come back once i am more calm she said I have skills I am already driving but i need confidence, bc i panick for no reasons, so here I am home trying ti figuere out how to gain more confidence from my sofa 😏
@ having a patient instructor is so important! The fact they’ve told you to reflect and come back is great. These videos really really helped me on my driving journey, I passed in November on my first attempt and it was thanks to having an instructor that kept me calm and watching these videos! Good luck with your driving journey! You’ve got this, just keep working on that confidence. Honestly if I can do it anyone can! ☺️
I love how you give feedback to your learners, my instructor always makes me feel like I’m in the wrong and speaks in a passive aggressive manner but you’re so nice, I wish more instructors were like you!!
I honestly think all that is missing here is self confidence! Savanah you are most definitely a sensible and capable young lady, so centre yourself, and you’ll find yourself panicking less and you will start to think clearly and be a lot less nervous. Don’t doubt yourself lovely. What I like to do sometimes when I am worried about driving somewhere is the night before I visualise myself driving down the roads, indicating, thinking about my position on the road. You can do it Savanah we all believe in you! Logue hours on the road, as many as you can until it all starts to become second nature. You got this girl❣️ 💯… have confidence in your convictions. We’re all rooting for you. In fact when you really start learning to drive is after you have passed your test and gotten your licence because it’s just you so don’t feel like you have to know everything all at once. One step at a time ❤
When I started driving I was always overthinking everything and didn't act on time. I was also very afraid if driving at all and made many mistakes due to that too. My driving teacher yelled at me and that didn't got as anyway so I am so happy too see the way you treat Savannah. I feel like you really try to individual adress each of your students problems which I truly admire. Past my test today and still wish I would have had a driving teacher like you.
If only I had an instructor like you, Aman, the experience would have been much nicer. I'm a car enthusiast now, but during my time of learning, i changed a couple of instructors, most of them are impatient, aggressive, smoking in the car, talking on the phone with their friends/family/hook-ups, unpleasant and so on and so forth. You're nice, friendly, funny, just, experienced, skilled and you're paying attention to every single detail that might affect learner's safety once they start driving on their own. Kudos to you, you're a fantastic instructor, and an even better person :)
Savannah, I'm routing for ya! I see myself in her lessons, though after I gave myself a good telling off and watched a few videos from other instructors it's all coming together in my head. If she's anything like me, she's not fully grasping the purpose of each of the gears. Once that clicks, she will be just fine and everything else will fall into place, as it has with me. You can do it girl 💪🏾
That panic she had at the beginning was the same panic I had with a manual car 😢 it’s why I switched to automatic, I panicked over when to switch to a lower gear and then finding the biting point and starting all over again. It’s an awful feeling when you think you’re doing it wrong or when you think you’re going to stall.
I would recommend bringing a whiteboard and a pen. My instructor had one and it helped me visualise everything he wanted me to do better. MSPSL is stuck in my head now too. Mirrors, signal, position, speed, look. It’s useful for everything you do while driving. POM, Prepare, observe, move. Really useful to do when moving off after being parked. I use these 2 every day now and it’s helped me a lot.
Just passed with 2 minors on my first test!! Thank you Aman so so much for your patience and clear explanations. They were super helpful through out my learning ❤
@@bethsmith3787honestly? Take your time, and remember that they’ll mainly be looking for your ability to drive *safely*. Take your time, check your mirrors and blind spots and try not to overthink things too much. You don’t have to be absolutely perfect. Best of luck to you!
hi aman, ive been watching your videos for a while now and today i passed my driving test first try!! (in germany) thank you so much for all the tips and calm nature you have. even tho the streets here are way different from those in the uk i was still able to learn from you and your students 🥹🎉🫶🏻
What an informative video this was. I love how great Savannah is at listening, you can see her rehearsing to herself. The overthinking does hold her back a little but I'm looking forward to seeing her confidence showing more in the next lesson. She will be an even better driver as she already is the more she gives herself permission to take control of her planning ahead😄✨️
I failed my test 4 times in Paisley Scotland, a very demanding route, mainly due to roundabout discipline. I came across your channel a few weeks ago and started watching everything you had. Yesterday I passed with 2 minor and no advisories. Your expertise helped me gain back the confidence I was losing due to the previous fails, so thank so very much, couldn't have done it without your help. I'll keep watching to learn more skills as I start my journey in my new car ❤
Aman, I have been watching your videos the last couple of weeks and they have helped me massively I took my driving test yesterday and I passed first time with 4 minors. My instructor definitely saw an improvement and saw how first hand how watching them improved my knowledge and understanding of the importance of safe and smooth driving on the road. Thank you!! I was repeating some things you say to your learners to him haha!! I have got my friends learning to drive watching them too. I'd love to do a drive with you!! ❤❤
Wanted to share the story of my driver's test over in the US. My test did not last long, they had me come back to the start area within about 5 minutes. My mom - who had brought me - saw us pulling up and thought "oh no, he did something really bad and failed." Here's the story of what happened. We start off on a simple two lane street going straight before making a left turn onto a side street. As we are going down the side street, there is a MASSIVE SUV parked on the side of the road (think Chevy Suburban or bigger). As we approach, the instructor tells me to parallel park behind it. I'm mortified - this car is enormous and the only thing I have going for me is that there's plenty of room behind it to parallel park. My normal strategy for parallel parking is to pull up roughly even with the other car's side view mirrors and then backup from there, but this isn't going to work with such a large vehicle (I'll be too far forward to start turning in). So I have to basically do it by feel. I stop a little behind the side view mirror and then start backing up and turning just kind of feeling it out. I get behind it, straighten out without being 100% sure how close to the curb I am, I can't really use the vehicle in front to get a good idea because it's too wide compared to my car. I pull forward a tiny bit to straighten out, and then put the car in park. Instructor opens the door to check the curb, closes it without saying anything, and then has me pull away. We take another side street and do a 3 point turn which goes fine, then she has me circle around and go back to the start. She says "you didn't signal when you pulled out, you didn't signal when you pulled to the side just now." I say nothing. She prints something off and says "this is your temporary license, you can take it to the DMV to get your full license." Then she got out and left. I am 90% sure that she had scoped out the area before pulling up to the test, found that massive SUV and decided that if the learner could parallel park behind it and not screw anything else up, she was going to pass them. Pretty sure I nailed that parallel park perfectly. While I was super nervous pulling up to it, my mom was a pro at parallel parking and had taught me well. I could just kind of feel that the car was in the right spot relative to the curb and the car in front while I was doing it.
I would love to have so nice driving instructor.Perfect explanation of each situation, always full control and calmness. When I had lessons,my instructor was reading newspapers :).He just needed from me enough amount of driving hours .Amazing videos!!!
I think watching these videos was probably one of the main reasons I managed to pass my test this week with only one minor. Thank you so much for making it not only informative but enjoyable to watch :)
As my instructor and my family said, you know how to drive so just drive, the more I thought about what I was doing in the car, the more silly mistakes and potentially dangerous things I was doing because everything felt like it was going so quickly around me. Everything 'slows down' when you're not trying to consciously do everything 😁
I am doing really well in my lessons, so now my instructor is getting me to do mocks every other lesson but the minute he says we are starting the test I lose the ability to drive completely it’s like my nerves set me back by like 10 lessons it’s ridiculous. Once we are done with the test we go over my mistakes and then go and practice them and there is no issues again.
You obviously have the skills. On other tests try to use the same mindset to help with the nerves. Remember it is a process. Look at where you have come from that first drive to know. The the same as when starting your mock to your last mock
Honestly I was the same! I failed every mock tests I did and when it was a normal lesson I wouldn’t do any mistakes again.. but I passed my exam first time even though I failed every mock test lol 😭
i really like this video im a person who bothers a lot about judgement and see in this video it comes with nothing but support im only a quarter through but so far out of all the videos ive seen you look really supportive and thats great to see
Thank you 😊 Everybody had to start out as a learner at one point or another so having patience to explain and work through what to do properly is no issue, making mistakes is all apart of learning :)
Thanks to you Aman i passed last week on my first test with 3 minors. Your videos helped my test nerves and i felt so confident. I still religiously watch your videos and will do for a very long time 💪
I can relate to Savannah as I experienced what she experienced before her test. Made repetitive silly mistakes on mock tests and basically couldn't make it without my instructor intervening. During my test, it felt like a different person was driving, although I didn't pass, I only made 1 dangerous fault and 6 minor. The examiner commented that she liked how I drove but couldn't let past the dangerous fault. My test is also coming now and hopefully, I will pass! I'm sure you will too!
The island on Welbeck Avenue at 4:15 is not one-way, I've looked it up on Streetview. There are no signs saying it's one-way and the parked vehicles are facing in both directions.
A good rule, I was taught. was "Mirror 1 (Directional; depending on direction you wish to turn) Mirror 2 (Facing backwards, to check behind) And a shoulder check. (Before indicating) - Can't say if it's modern, or whatever, but, the policeman on my test, was very nice. so many years ago. Passed, no problems.
My car has a button too! But its for the speed limiter. If I set it to say 30mph but need to go faster I have to put my foot all the way down to the button. Like Savannah, I too was pretty amazed when my dad told me about the button.
Hi Aman I paased my test a few weeks ago you helped me with my nerves . I did my first gdl graduate drivers license test in Calgary Alberta Canada .I and had 2 bad sets of instructor who never helped me gave up on me and never pushed me like you are with your students .due to my bad experience I gave up for years and just kept renewing my license. . When I moved here from canada my husband bought me a birthday voucher and told me to try with his instructor after a few try’s , many lessons and my mom aiding me on my test day I managed to get my nerves under control and passed . Your videos and my husband help ans instructors and my mom gave me the confidence and the no give up quitting mentality the fighter spirt . Thank you Aman I wish I did have an instructor like you but you live far away … Thank you
I think when you first start lessons your car is huge, and you are worried about hitting stuff, but after a year or more, it shrinks and you know the boundaries and what you can get away with.
Yeah after practicing driving around you start to learn the dimensions of your car and it makes it a lot easier to understand when to continue and when you should stop/hold back :)
Hi Aman, I passed my practical test today , at the first attempt, with 5 minor faults. I have been in practice for a month or so, with my own car, with the help of my friend. Your videos have been really helpful throughout this journey. I really appreciate your efforts toward making this helpful videos.
I recently passed for my driving test🥳 And now have my drivers license!! I recognize a lot of the mistakes Savanna made on the road. Cause I myself made them numerous times😅 It took me a little longer to pass the driving test here in the Netherlands but now I finally have my drivers license!
11:17 The way I was taught is to signal very last thing. Get the car prepared, do your mirror and blindspot checks then signal and move. Doing checks then signal and moving just introduces time for the surroundings to change
There was some really good driving Savannah, Then there was the squashy bits, if you stop well back and wait no squashy bits! It's now getting the confidence to have the car ready for what you're going to do with it. Keep going, you're doing great.
I must have missed the part with the "really good driving". Half-assed right blind spot check before moving off, zooming past give way lines and closed junctions, closing gaps and creating awkward situations and then having to reverse to correct it, uncontrolled steering as if she's just started learning to drive, cutting across the centre line in both right and left turns. Need I go on?
@@daviemac9925 Dude be fr. She's booked her test and was making serious errors, not little minor ones. If that was a real test, she would have multiple dangerous and serious faults. Aman had to keep telling her to change gear, to stop and to brake.
@@daviemac9925 I, for one, didn't book a test before I was good enough and confident that I would pass. She might be a learner, but blatantly lying in order to make someone feel good is pathetic. Say it how it is; she's not ready and her issues have nowt to do with confidence.
@@MT-dn4tu Lots of people have made lots of positive comments about Savannah's driving and you haven't made any responses to any of them. Do I look like a soft target or something. We only have your word for it that you can drive. Not just Aman but lots of the other Driving Instructors who have channels on here would give you a mock test, then we can see just how good or bad you are. Go on lets see you put your money where your mouth is.
7:57 The key is to look at the car ahead of you (assuming it's of similar size) and in your mind place two of them side by side and see if they fit on the road. If they don't, then slow down because you and that car can't continue at normal speed
From my experience last lessons before test are horrible we make lots of mistakes just to get out of our system. Mine last lesson before test moc test I would have failed within 5 minutes and more mistakes but my instructor believed in me and I have passed next day few months later I am a good confident driver. Stress is the worst for any new driver. I believe in you. You got this girl 😊
She needs to stop looking down at the stick to change gears and get in to the routine when slowing for a junction/traffic lights. My routine is slow down, change to second and continue slowing (hand still on gear stick) and if I need to stop or go below 7mph I drop it to first. (I am a full licence holder car and bike)
My mindset with driving tests and nerves etc is that if i fail then i know i'm not ready and it's not safe for me to drive alone just yet. Really helps with any nerves etc leading up to and during a test as it's not like if you fail that's it can't drive ever. Just need more practise
I understand Savannah on 100%. My test is in 2 weeks and now I feel like I am back again to the basics. After one mistake I am gone… I have been struggling with manual for so many months, oh my god. Good luck Savannah, you are great and I am with you! Curious question.. Does Savannah has a car already? The reason I am asking, I bought a car from 2005 and my instructor has 2023 model of his car and… because they are SO DIFFERENT, it really stresses me when I change the vehicle. I start stalling my own car because it’s not as smooth like instructors car and I brake too harsh his car because I got used to my harsh 2005 mini cooper lol.
Passed today with 1 minor, if you're watching amans videos you're already in the right track, I also feel finding a way to get over nerves is harder than the test in itself, good luck and thanks Aman for the videos
The accelerator pedal is probably a shared part with the automatic version of the car. Most if not all automatics have a kickdown switch at the end of the travel to unambiguously instruct the gearbox to shift to the lowest suitable gear for, as you say, quick acceleration.
Probably, but it didn't use to be this way. What I have found after experimenting though, is that what it does on my manual car is override the speed limiter. You put the cruise control in speed limiter mode so that the car won't go faster than a set speed, but you control the speed with the pedal below that. I.e. even if you're at "full throttle" it won't go any faster, except for if you put the pedal past the click that would trigger a kickdown on an automatic. Then it will start to, or keep, accelerating even though you're at or past the set limit.
I was like savannah so worried about making a mistake and failing the test. It’s important not to think that way and drive how you normally drive. Often a mistake might not even be a driver fault but in your head you’ve made an error when in reality in your driving test so long as what you did was done safely and not impeding anyone chances are it was completely fine. Savannah is definitely overthinking in her driving and it’s costing her. Perhaps going over things will boost her confidence and reassure savannah you will let her know the mistakes after the drive. And go over the routines of driving mirror signal manoeuvre. Overthinking often leads to hesitancy and you end up making more mistakes as a result. Moral of the story don’t overthink just drive and be safe. And stop and creep forward so you can see at those closed junctions!
22:15 'We're not turning' *Meanwhile the road splitting in 2, left and right* Omg how even i would got confused how the hell are those roads designed how am i supposed to know which is straight when both are turning😅😅😅😅
In that lane we could either go straight on the roundabout or take the first exit (left), I specified that we're not turning so we should have continued on the roundabout (right) and taken the second exit
@ClearviewDriving yes i figured by those lane strips in white that went with the road on right (or straight) which was the only identification that the straight road goes this way. That's nice tho😄
I love driving on the right hand side of the road in denmark, that means i can use my dominant right hand to change gears, which for me is way more intuitive, and I also know the lowest gears 1 and 2 will be the once closest to me, and the further the gear stick gets from me, the higher gear i am in xD
I used to have the same problem when I was young and learning to drive. I had a small motorbike which I used every day for my transport and my driving instructer once told me he thought that was the reason that I didn't allow enough for the width of the car when on my lesson. He sugessted not riding my motorbike and then I may improve in allowing for the size of his car. That of course was not practical as it was my only form of transport. That was all a very long time ago now and I did pass. I always remember my driving test the instructer had double booked and had to get his dad to pick me up and take me to the test centre because he had another pupil taking their test and my test was imediatly after.
I thought there was going to be a discussion at the end about pushing back the test from the title? If the test is booked for soon then that would definitely be a good decision. Savannah is not bad but still seems like she is not confident with controlling the car which you need to be before taking the test.
14:37 The stop was further forward than ideal I guess, which made the opposite car look like they were getting close but really that's their side of the road 16:35 also an interesting approach, seems like she's turning in blind
I just got into a wreck the other day and it was because I was making a left turn and I had looked left already but the cars that were park on the perpendicular road blocked my view. So as I was making the left turn I didn’t see a car coming from my left and bam he t-boned me. Ik it’s %1000 my fault but was shaken up.
Savanah is so cute. I think I have watched her last lesson. My driving test is next month. Your videos have been very helpful so far. Curious to see why you think Savanah is not ready.
why...really.. she's having to be told how to basic drive.doesnt know her gears. doesn't slow down at junctions.cant do roundabouts.. she needs to go automatic and have less things to worry about.think about n panic about
Folk u need to be more comprehensive looks like Savannah have some kind on dyslexia or adhd. So be more kind! Btw she will do it only need to concentrate more and even speak loud step by step what she’s doing will help a lots.
Remember it's really bad riding on your clutch.. or even worse.. coasting clutch around corners (that's when you keep the clutch pedal in) it unnecessarily wears the mechanics down on the vehicle. And observations around the vehicle when pulling off. I don't expect the student to know this.. but the teacher should be mentioning these safety protocols.
One thing that irks me about the UK is that there are more parked cars on the road than driving ones. Glad it's not like that in other parts of the world.
Another great video… something I’m a little curious about… when we are on the middle camera looking straight back… as the starter motor is starting the engine, 2x amber lights appear to illuminate in the rear somewhere, what are these please..? Also I mentioned on a previous, if you don’t mind, even if the car is “off” but still at the side of live lane, you should keep the seat belt on… some of your students do stay buckled for the chat at the end. Safety thing…🤔
Savannah, Good smoothed driving, be, proactive, looking for potential hazard. Good approached to junction. Observation and awareness. This massive, big truck coming, towards you,, have to slow down, to a stop. the truck, have had to reverse and make your. Well done.💜
Stop putting your foot down on the clutch when turning into side roads Savannah and stop looking down when changing gears. You will get there Im sure , with a wonderful instructor like Aman
I just had my 4th lesson with my instructor. He is an old chap. I have already paid him for 10 lessons. I am regretting that massively. He is an alright guy, but he just expects me to do things on the road. He moans when I do something wrong and doesn’t say anything if I do something right. I don’t know if Aman does this for camera or she really is this friendly and helpful to learners. I wish I had an instructor like you who explains things calmly and doesn’t create panic. Also, as an Indian driver, it is super difficult for me to discipline myself on British roads. He’ll just say, ‘you failed your test there’. ‘What are you doing? ‘That was hard work’. Stuff like that. So annoying. And I am not that bad as a driver to be honest!! 😐
Her knowledge is really good. She just needs to keep at it and keep improving every time. Savannah knows herself she can do it. She just needs to always be confident in her ability to drive in the near future. A few more lessons would definitely be ideal before she does her actual driving test. If Savannah wants to pass the first time, she will have to up her game a lot more than usual, and that's not easy to do. I know this because on my lessons, I've had to deal with a lot more hazards than l normally see on the road. I've had to deal with the usual idiots, but then again, that's just the way it is. Even for Savannah, I'm kind of seeing that in this video, when she approaches a hazard, she's approaching too fast, and that's not a good sign. She needs to approach a little slower and just take the time to access what's going on and deal with it accordingly and not rush it. There's no need to rush whatsoever.
I believe she has the making of a good driver.. 😊 I just believe she needs to stop worrying about the order of things and to focus more on the situation she is facing.. she is doing well
Maybe I'm misjudging, but i saw there were surprisingly many times she was cutting corners at junctions and you didn't warn her, even though it would likely be marked on a driving test. You only mentioned it once, and that one was _really_ bad.
I think she’s write that maybe not quite ready for test but nothing too major. Mostly remember to change gear and generally give other road users more space. Look ahead and see what’s coming and work out if it would help others if you just slowed down a bit and then it’s easier for them and easier for you - and no need to stop, reverse etc. But I don’t think far off. And people aren’t going g to be “perfect” when new to driving
Serious question how do you drive in the UK and not be involved in or see an accident? I’m from the states and people here crash at a 4 way stop 🤦🏽♂️ I couldn’t possibly imagine driving in another country where the laws and signs are so much different!!
If you were driving over here, I'm sure you would plan ahead. Do some research into our road signs and laws. The information is freely available online. RUclips channels like this are great! I suppose the biggest challenge coming from the States to the UK is the driver sitting on the other side of the car and us driving on the opposite side of the road from you!
my test is in 13 days I'm shitting myself my instructor said he'd s 50/50 if I should do it I keep making stupid silly mistakes after not making any for a while and taking a month off I cryed just need to prove that i can do it now 🙃
My test is next week and I’m feeling the same . My instructor also isn’t sure if I’m ready but he did ask me if I am and tbh I do feel ready and confident. I wish you the best of luck if I was to give you any advice it would be to slow down in your test. It will help you calm down and focus on what you’re doing . Good luck 🥰
If you're not confident with everything, postpone it. I failed my first test, and it felt so horrible. I wish I'd postponed. I'm so much more confident now for test in the new year
I wasn’t confident at all before my test. I failed all my mock tests with my instructor in the week leading up, and the roundabouts savannah is doing here I just made mistakes every time I went round them, however I still passed my test 1st time. I kept telling myself smooth and steady and keep checking mirrors. You can do it!
Honestly try not to worry about it. I watched these videos religiously especially the ones of my test route. That happened to me I started making silly mistakes before my test and then my test day arrived and I didn't make any mistakes. Well I had 2 minors which were for hesitation but those were understandable haha I don't have it anymore. You can do it. Best of luck
You’re a really good instructor, but I do think you could be a bit more understanding and apprehensive of her anxiety! She seems very stressed out in general and you can tell that she wants to make you "proud" with her driving skills so you showing disappointment every time she does something wrong doesn’t really help
I disagree completely. I think Aman is too nice, smiley and friendly. Savannah isn't giving her full attention here and is preoccupied, otherwise she wouldn't repeatedly make errors like forgetting to check her mirrors at junctions and forgetting to change down to first when she comes to a halt. I think Aman needs a serious word with Savannah, with eye contact, to make sure the feedback is received. And I'm sure that's exactly what she has done off camera. Being in charge of two tonnes of metal is a serious job: you could hurt or kill someone. That has to be paramount in the driver's mind: safety. Control. Less space, less speed. Constant observations. Savannah is responsible for dealing with her own anxiety, if she suffers from that. And I'm sure as a comedy performer she has ways of tackling nerves.
What's up with that bin on the roads? Was there a strike by the bin collectors? In my municipality in Italy a lorry collects the bin every morning from Monday to Friday
There's no strikes or anything, this area's council has just decided not to use wheelie bins so you have to put bin bags outside like shown in the video :)
That was a lot for a learner to deal with in this video, but at this stage she definitely shouldn't be booking a test yet. Not until she is completely independent.
@@spj1830 That didn’t even work for me he was lovely the first couple of lessons then a flip switched and he’s terrible! but too close to my test to change 😭
Savannah is definitely me when something goes wrong, panic and lose the plot. LOL.
that's so me rn, I hate it but I can't stop myself!
Same! 😢
OH GOD help us all
You know, nothing wrong with taking the bus to keep the kids and streets safe...
Me too, l hate that feeling

There’s nothing worse when you are trying to do a manoeuvre and cars drive right up close to you not giving you any space. “We don’t know what he’s doing so we are going to give all the space he needs” is the right attitude. I see so many videos of driving instructors teaching their students to be fearful of HGV’s and creating this adversarial relationship on the roads which isn’t right. But you did a great job as always Savannah is doing well under your tuition.
Yeah being aware of the road around you and planning ahead makes it quicker for everyone to be able to go to where they want to go :)

In fact when you really start learning to drive is after you have passed your test and gotten your licence because it’s just you so don’t feel like you have to know everything all at once. One step at a time ❤
Passed my driving test in may but still love watching, I’m still learning!!!
Completely agree with you, I passed only on Thursday and I feel there's so much more I need to learn cos it's easy for areas I'm familiar with
When I started driving I was always overthinking everything and didn't act on time.
Congratulations 👏 👏 you should be very proud of pushing through all of that and still passing 😊 best of luck with your driving in the future!
I passed my driving test a few days ago, but I still enjoy watching your videos.
Congratulations!! 👏 👏
Thats excellent really well done! 👏 best of luck with your driving in the future, thank you so much for watching :)
Do you have any tips? My test is soon😭
@@bethsmith3787honestly? Take your time, and remember that they’ll mainly be looking for your ability to drive *safely*. Take your time, check your mirrors and blind spots and try not to overthink things too much. You don’t have to be absolutely perfect. Best of luck to you!
Wait can you watch these types of videos to help? I didn’t know you could, I thought you had to be in a car😂
Grats!
That bin bag situation is completely disgusting, that council should be ashamed of themselves.
hi aman, ive been watching your videos for a while now and today i passed my driving test first try!! (in germany) thank you so much for all the tips and calm nature you have. even tho the streets here are way different from those in the uk i was still able to learn from you and your students 🥹🎉🫶🏻
Congratulations! 👏 👏 It's so cool to see my videos helping people outside of the UK too 😊
She's nervous and that's why the faults are happening bless her.
Thank you im glad you enjoyed it 💕 She's making excellent progress just got to keep practicing and she'll get there for sure 😊
Congratulations!!👏 I'm happy you found these videos useful, thank you so much for watching 🥹💕
Congratulations thats amazing!! 👏 👏 Thank you for watching 😊 good luck to your friends learning too!
@ClearviewDriving Thank you Aman, keep well 😁
Wanted to share the story of my driver's test over in the US.
Congratulations!👏👏 Thank you so much i'm glad you enjoyed them ☺️
As my instructor and my family said, you know how to drive so just drive, the more I thought about what I was doing in the car, the more silly mistakes and potentially dangerous things I was doing because everything felt like it was going so quickly around me. Everything 'slows down' when you're not trying to consciously do everything 😁
she's focused too much on "would I pass/fail" when her mindset should be "what is the safe & best thing to do"
I am doing really well in my lessons, so now my instructor is getting me to do mocks every other lesson but the minute he says we are starting the test I lose the ability to drive completely it’s like my nerves set me back by like 10 lessons it’s ridiculous.
I still religiously watch your videos and will do for a very long time 💪
Congratulations thats fantastic 😊 👏
I’m about to start my lessons in the next few weeks and this Channel is by far my favourite. Feel like I’m learning already 😅
Best of luck for when you start your lessons! I'm glad these videos have helped you prepare a little ☺️💕
I can relate to Savannah as I experienced what she experienced before her test.
Did you passed?
The island on Welbeck Avenue at 4:15 is not one-way, I've looked it up on Streetview. There are no signs saying it's one-way and the parked vehicles are facing in both directions.
A good rule, I was taught. was "Mirror 1 (Directional; depending on direction you wish to turn) Mirror 2 (Facing backwards, to check behind) And a shoulder check. (Before indicating) - Can't say if it's modern, or whatever, but, the policeman on my test, was very nice. so many years ago. Passed, no problems.
Honestly, that 'button at the end' is a godsend when you're driving a bus 😂
My car has a button too! But its for the speed limiter. If I set it to say 30mph but need to go faster I have to put my foot all the way down to the button. Like Savannah, I too was pretty amazed when my dad told me about the button.
I passed my test ,20min ago.
A massive thank you to for doing awesome work.
Hey congratulations thats great 👏😊 thank you for watching 💕
Hi Aman
I paased my test a few weeks ago you helped me with my nerves . Thank you Aman I wish I did have an instructor like you but you live far away …
Thank you
Hey well done that's brilliant! 👏 ☺️
Hi Aman,
I passed my practical test today , at the first attempt, with 5 minor faults. I have been in practice for a month or so, with my own car, with the help of my friend. Your videos have been really helpful throughout this journey. I really appreciate your efforts toward making this helpful videos.
Thank you so much for watching , im glad you enjoy the videos!💕 and congratulations on passing thats great 😊 👏
I love how whenever Savannah poses for or makes a face at the camera it’s edited so it’s not from the one she is looking at.
lmao
LMAOO
My instructor drilled into me turn squarely not early.
It really helped me not to cross over.
I recently passed for my driving test🥳 And now have my drivers license!! I recognize a lot of the mistakes Savanna made on the road. Cause I myself made them numerous times😅 It took me a little longer to pass the driving test here in the Netherlands but now I finally have my drivers license!
Congratulations!👏👏 Mistakes are all a part of the process, most important thing is that you learn from them ☺️
11:17 The way I was taught is to signal very last thing.
@@MT-dn4tu She's a Learner, were you born with a full Licence?
Bless her heart…I know how that feels like
My mindset with driving tests and nerves etc is that if i fail then i know i'm not ready and it's not safe for me to drive alone just yet. Really helps with any nerves etc leading up to and during a test as it's not like if you fail that's it can't drive ever. Just need more practise
12:26 Aman love how your trying to remind savannahs by singing 🤣
Passed today with 1 minor, if you're watching amans videos you're already in the right track, I also feel finding a way to get over nerves is harder than the test in itself, good luck and thanks Aman for the videos
really well done thats brilliant 😊 thank you so much for watching!
I Couldn't cope with all them dirty bin bags down my road 😂
Well done, Savannah ❤
"creep and peep" my old instructor said. I know, it sounds awful 🤭
22:15
'We're not turning'
*Meanwhile the road splitting in 2, left and right*
Omg how even i would got confused how the hell are those roads designed how am i supposed to know which is straight when both are turning😅😅😅😅
You're so cute and kind instructor ❤ I have a practical test in two months and I have a little stress 😮
Glad you passed. Imagine double booking you! What an ass.
This whole vid has me STRESSED 😭😭😭
my test is thursday i am petrified i dont feel ready but your videos have been such a help, just fingers crossed i'll be lucky on the day.
Good luck! come back to update us on how it goes 😊
I thought there was going to be a discussion at the end about pushing back the test from the title? If the test is booked for soon then that would definitely be a good decision. Savannah is not bad but still seems like she is not confident with controlling the car which you need to be before taking the test.
Shocked at the amount of bin bags that are dumped around housing estates. Do they not have bins/bin collections?
In this area they don't use wheelie bins so the rubbish is left out like that to be collected
maybe she would be better in an automatic..less things to panic about
she's just overthinking it and worrying about her test
Don't worry Savannah, we've all been there. Listen to your instructor. You'll one day drive with unconscious competency.
20:28 She cut the corner again 🤦♀️ im rooting for you, though. 😊
14:37 The stop was further forward than ideal I guess, which made the opposite car look like they were getting close but really that's their side of the road
16:35 also an interesting approach, seems like she's turning in blind
You seem really patient, and know the local roads well. Do you have a website to book lessons through?
Most importantly there is always button if you get to end ! 😂
I passed the state of the nh drivers license test without a single error
That's impressive!!
Oh no that sounds scary, hope you're okay 😣
huge shock. another one with horrid seating position.
Savanah is so cute. I think I have watched her last lesson. My driving test is next month. Your videos have been very helpful so far. Curious to see why you think Savanah is not ready.
yep same!
if she's still forgetting to change to 1st when stopping and the basic MSM routine in episode 12, she's not ready
why...really.. she's having to be told how to basic drive.doesnt know her gears. doesn't slow down at junctions.cant do roundabouts.. she needs to go automatic and have less things to worry about.think about n panic about
if you have been watching every video with her, she has been forgetting to change gear in every single episode
Postpone test ? Knowing all tests are back log as it is
Savannah, Good smoothed driving, be, proactive, looking for potential hazard. Good approached to junction. Observation and awareness. This massive, big truck coming, towards you,, have to slow down, to a stop. the truck, have had to reverse and make your. Well done.💜
"My driving instructor is not kind at all and tends to complain a lot."
Stop putting your foot down on the clutch when turning into side roads Savannah and stop looking down when changing gears. You will get there Im sure , with a wonderful instructor like Aman
Tight streets test your driving 😮
I thought you where pulling my leg about the secret button under the throttle. I still do to be fair
That sucks. I would ask him for more constructive feedback.
Hopefully you get something out of the lessons. 🤞
@ Yea, you are right. Usually, I am quite honest with myself. I know I am a good driver. That guy is probably the issue.
Would you still get a minor fault on your driving test for going, even if the pedestrian let you? (3:25)
No
She's such a cutie, bless her
Her knowledge is really good.
😊 I just believe she needs to stop worrying about the order of things and to focus more on the situation she is facing.. she is doing well
haha learning to drive one of the most stressful experiences ever
Maybe I'm misjudging, but i saw there were surprisingly many times she was cutting corners at junctions and you didn't warn her, even though it would likely be marked on a driving test. You only mentioned it once, and that one was _really_ bad.
Love video
Thanks for watching!! 💕
One advice to all learner drivers: if you are nervous, try learning with automatic cars. It will make your life easier.
Coming back in 30 mind
I’m back ready for snything
my test is in 13 days I'm shitting myself my instructor said he'd s 50/50 if I should do it I keep making stupid silly mistakes after not making any for a while and taking a month off I cryed just need to prove that i can do it now 🙃
My test is next week and I’m feeling the same .
Best of luck with your test!
My fave duo 🩵
Thanks for watching 😊 💕
Wow, it makes the area look so scruffy and can attract rats. @@ClearviewDriving
That was a lot for a learner to deal with in this video, but at this stage she definitely shouldn't be booking a test yet. Not until she is completely independent.
Hey Aman
What do you do with a really stern and angry teacher?
Going through the same 😭 My test is in 3 week and my instructor is like that gives me so much anxiety
Request a demo class before you enroll for anything long-term , important or expensive.
