I grew up in Cleveland, home of RHOF, and I'm ashamed that this talented group isn't in the Hall They deserve to be there. I will never understand it. So many hits.
I consider the RRHOF a bit of a joke. Think of all the great artists and bands who are not included, and it's staggering. Jethro Tull, Soundgarden, Motorhead, Joe Cocker, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and of course, The Guess Who. The excuse given most often for the exclusion The Guess Who is that they were too commercial, and focused mostly on AM radio hits. Yet the Hall includes such artists are Abba, The Beach Boys and Blondie, all artists known primarily for the AM hits. Plus, to call it the ROCK and ROLL Hall of Fame, and include such artists as Joan Baez, Harry Belafonte, Nat King Cole, and Neil Diamond, makes the whole thing a bit of a farce. Unless you consider "Song Sung Blue" a Rock Classic, then there is absolutely no hope for you.

WHOA! Timeless! Kinda sad to listen to old beautiful music . Very nostalgic.😔😔😔❤️❤️❤️ but love it. Love betrum Cummings. I’m very grateful. Love each other, Sept. 21, 2021 here.
Songs like this carry the memories and wonder of my youth. They gave me insights for living through many of life’s firsts, and a language to think/sing about my experiences while ‘growing up.’ They resonated with the forces of my budding youth and my emergence into an adulthood. They were messages of curiosity (many quite philosophical); of idealism and disappointment; of love and rejection; of the libido for risk, trouble and discovery.
Me too. I loved this song back in 1969, I was only 14 yrs old, my cute girlfriend and I would sing this to each other and looking into each other's eyes. Love to be 14 yrs old again.
Burton Cummings co-wrote and recorded this song when he was just 19 years old. Think about that kiddos. No computers. No auto-tune. No software program BS. Just a pen and paper and a voice and actual instruments and a brain. It's amazing what human beings can accomplish when they are challenged instead of handed a crutch and sold victimhood :) . Yeah, you won't hear music of this quality being created ever again, unless somehow someone creates artificial intelligence capable of human emotion and talent...
Absolutely fantastic Canadian musician, Burton Cummings. What a powerful, beautiful voice! I love this song so much and it touches my heart. I fell so lucky having grwon up in the 70s and 80s with all the beautiful, great music we had back then. Singers could really belt with passion, musicians were virtuosos, and the lyrics of the songs were so heartfelt and meaningful.. ♥🎵🎤🎶♥

Thank you Burton, you made growing up a little easier.
This song reminds of intermission at rosecrans or paramount drive-in when I was a kid.still had the metal speaker box you had to hang on ur window.miss those days.we would go friday nights I think.parents would get chicos pizza from long beach blvd in lynwood, ca.dad had a nice van,was in van club before(BAD VANS).had a couch like seat in the back that turned into a bed.would have rear doors open to the screen for my sister and I while we would watch from the bed while mom and dad sat on lawn chairs between doors and had pizza and beer.so peaceful and simple.thats all we really want and need in life.to relax and enjoy family doing something simple.frankw.
What great memories those are
I asked my elder brother if he remembered when I was always cheerful and happy. He said that was before my heart was broken.
Increíble como una canción que escuchaste en la niñez permanezca guardada y sin querer la encuentres navegando en este maravilloso mundo de internet🙏🌄🌠

Hi Grace , How are you doing?
I've owned this song in format ever--45, LP, cassette, & CD. It is a "Top 5 All Time" song in my life. I miss here everyday.
This is a beautiful song, beautifully sung!!!!!!!!
Hi Cheryl , How are you doing?
Songs like this carry the memories and wonder of my youth. They gave me insights for living through many of life’s firsts, and a language to think/sing about my experiences while ‘growing up.’ They resonated with the forces of my budding youth and my emergence into an adulthood. They were messages of curiosity (many quite philosophical); of idealism and disappointment; of love and rejection; of the libido for risk, trouble and discovery.
i am an old man and i used to listen to this song way back in the day!
It's like comfort food for the ears
These songs are the best oldies and goodies thank you for sharing 🌹😄
Hello Tina, how're you doing, I hope you are doing fine. I'm David from Houston, Texas. Where are you from? You seems like a real Country girl😊🌹
Saw them do this live in concert in 1970, while I was in college, with a girl I was nuts about. The girl is a memory, but I still love the song.
Glad I grew up in an era with such great music.
Me too. I loved this song back in 1969, I was only 14 yrs old, my cute girlfriend and I would sing this to each other and looking into each other's eyes. Love to be 14 yrs old again.
Headed to Vietnam 69,song stuck in my head
Hello Connie, how're you doing, I hope you are doing fine. I'm David from Houston, Texas. Where are you from? You seems like a real Country girl😊🌹
One of the top voices in the Rock Industry.
I'm with you all the way. Can't take the mine less stuff they play at my gym.
Check out where you go I go, by Jesus Culture, awesome tune.
fox river pwc tats when songwriters were truly talented.
Justin Heyward from the Moody Blues wrote Night In White Satin when he was 16 years old. Thats Amazing !!!!!
love this song even in 2021
