Hi Tehilla , I first heard this song in about 1972 or something . I like what you said about the bass . When Jim , the bass player, comes in with Burton's electric piano it makes a great counterpoint , very harmonic . It is a very nicely produced song . The whole album is great .

We used to have a local radio station it was 104.3 it was all oldies and I'm not talking about like '80s oldies it was the like 60s oldies and '70s oldies for sure I'm sure the fifties were on there too Sunday driving made this Epic
Just had a little revelation. I remember this song used to come on the radio when I was very young, and I didn't like it. I now realize it's because of how emotional and painful the lead vocal was. I think I was always romantically inclined, and the expression of suffering in his voice at his lost love was kind of unbearable to the optimistic little kid I was at the time. I love R&B and soul, and I love strong vocal parts, but this one song kind of was just too much, and I think that fear of this song stayed with me all my life. "These eyes have seen about enough, but they're never gonna see another woman like I have with you." That's heart-breaking.

LORD WHERE HAS TIME GONE
We used to have a local radio station it was 104.3 it was all oldies and I'm not talking about like '80s oldies it was the like 60s oldies and '70s oldies for sure I'm sure the fifties were on there too Sunday driving made this Epic
Burton Cummings is one of the best. Guess Who is so underrated!
Love this song brings back great memories of my husband.
❤❤❤
Just had a little revelation. I remember this song used to come on the radio when I was very young, and I didn't like it. I now realize it's because of how emotional and painful the lead vocal was. I think I was always romantically inclined, and the expression of suffering in his voice at his lost love was kind of unbearable to the optimistic little kid I was at the time. I love R&B and soul, and I love strong vocal parts, but this one song kind of was just too much, and I think that fear of this song stayed with me all my life. "These eyes have seen about enough, but they're never gonna see another woman like I have with you." That's heart-breaking.
Since I heard this song on a tv ad while on holiday in Greece, I could not forget it.
One of my family members who was in the military was playing, so I shall never forget this
