Damn, he was talented! Unfortunately bad coaching and bad medical treatment (around 2000) in Poland leaded him to serious injuries, which put mark to his later whole carrer
Seanzie S. I agree with that (he's now making amazing job with American guys), but Zygmunt trained Polish team from 2006. Before that time (especially 1999-2001) Szymon had some bad experience with coaching (I don't know name of this coach), which leads him injured his back and knee. Everyone thinked that after 2 surgeries he will be back in full force, but unfortunately medical treatment in Poland was far from perfect and I believe that he ended up with 3 back and 6 knee surgeries during his whole carrer. It's such a bummer because he has such a huge poencial, natural talent. It's crazy that he got his best results when he was 18 (at that age he definitely didn't reach his strenght potencial for squats and pull), but his perfect technique made him an amazing efficient lifter. His best front squat was 240, best clean 235!( 1999 Worlds), best C&J 232.5! (2000 Europeans), actually he C&J 235! in Polish nationals in 94 class. He could achieved much more...(at Juniors years like above he humiliated everyone else). I get little emotional, because he is my fellow countryman
