If so that all depends on the number of revisions you've allowed them in the contract, if the brand strategy stage is done right you and the client should be on the same wavelength, so there shouldn't be a situation where they completely hate your design.
I am 24 and trying to get into graphic design. Abi, this was amazing. Everything I needed and more. It’s just not enough to be a creative. We need processes, good business sense, clear communication skills, interviewing and organizational skills, boundaries, etc. You make it look easy ❤

@@abiconnick I disagree with this. Schools and courses have structured contents following a logical order to help assimilate knowledges. This will give students a solid foundation on theorical practique and they will see the benefit in the long run. Self taught is a valid route but you may miss things here and there and you will take more time on googling and tumbling through lessons by yourself.
@@vietfox8916 I think online courses are great, but 'traditional' teaching in design is out dated, and you don't gain any experience, it's all good and well knowing the theory side of design (it has its place) but if you don't know how to put it into action then its redundant. In any case there is no right or wrong way, but she said she is unable to go into full time education because of her situation, so a self taught route would be the better option.

I always watch your videos! I'm 17 rn and I really REALLY love graphic designs! I may not good on making Graphic Designs but just watching it and learn from your videos really inspires me to give myself a chance to learn and Design my own. I really wanna study Graphic Designs but I'm still doubtful since I also wanted to take Accountancy cuz it's very needed in my hometown, but my heart really Screams to go for Graphic Designs. You Could actually do both! There are no limits to learning anything. Since you already lean a little towards graphic design, you could do it as a hobby. Maybe you'll be both a great accountant and a graphic artist. No regrets! All the best! Cheers.

I am a designer but I never went into the branding industry which I sort of regret and now I want to get into it and understand anything related to it and this video just took a whole lot off the table of researches I'm making. this is one of my favorite design by you so far! i love the colours and the logo. the packaging is stunnig and uniqe, definitetly more inviting then the usaul brands you see on the market
just something that I found out while playing around with illustrator- if you press alt while using the pencil tool you are automatically using smooth tool. Considering you use it a lot just thought of sharing cause it might come in handy!

Oo I really like what you did here! Your design process is so organized that it kind of acts as like a compass - it gives you a sense of structure and direction so that you don’t go off the hook. It’s as you said, “setting boundaries is important and helpful” (very likely I’m butchering this but it’s how I interpret your message towards the end of the video 👀) Although I’m more of a writer than a visual artist, the information and insight you’ve shared in this video is still really helpful! 💛 I mean, this process can be applied to other aspects of life as well, not just graphic design, even though that’s what you’re focusing more on here

Ive had clients request the mockuped design for free and I didnt know what to do cus Id already designed it and felt bad asking for payment!🙈

Really cool and informative video. I love how you use Illustrator and it motivated me to learn more about the software. I've mostly been using Photoshop because it's always been easier for me, but now see lots of advantages in using Illustrator.
Hi! Absolutely Loved your video. Although I got stuck on one part. While choosing the color palette, the document mode was set to RGB. Now while printing, the chosen RGB based colors are not always printed accurately as they are displayed on the screen. Now, to have consistent look and feel across all mediums should be the goal. Have we missed the step where we should ensure CMYK-RGB consistency, or is it skipped on purpose to shorten the length of this video. Also, as the product requires packaging, should we choose color palletes with correspondence to CMYK Colors, since they are more limited than RGB Colours??? Thank you for the help!
You are right, there should always be a CMYK consideration for colours to ensure consistency of brand across multiple delivery platforms, both digital and print

Thank you! I personally only present a single concept. Pouring my focus into one concept allows me to craft something that fits the brief fully and has my full attention leading to better design, application and happy clients. Some designers do present more than one so it's entirely up to you :)

I always watch your videos! I'm 17 rn and I really REALLY love graphic designs! I may not good on making Graphic Designs but just watching it and learn from your videos really inspires me to give myself a chance to learn and Design my own. I really wanna study Graphic Designs but I'm still doubtful since I also wanted to take Accountancy cuz it's very needed in my hometown, but my heart really Screams to go for Graphic Designs.

You Could actually do both! There are no limits to learning anything. Since you already lean a little towards graphic design, you could do it as a hobby. Maybe you'll be both a great accountant and a graphic artist. No regrets! All the best! Cheers.

I am a designer but I never went into the branding industry which I sort of regret and now I want to get into it and understand anything related to it and this video just took a whole lot off the table of researches I'm making. just something that I found out while playing around with illustrator- if you press alt while using the pencil tool you are automatically using smooth tool. Considering you use it a lot just thought of sharing cause it might come in handy!

Oo I really like what you did here! Your design process is so organized that it kind of acts as like a compass - it gives you a sense of structure and direction so that you don’t go off the hook. It’s as you said, “setting boundaries is important and helpful” (very likely I’m butchering this but it’s how I interpret your message towards the end of the video 👀)
Although I’m more of a writer than a visual artist, the information and insight you’ve shared in this video is still really helpful! 💛 I mean, this process can be applied to other aspects of life as well, not just graphic design, even though that’s what you’re focusing more on here

Something I have always struggled with, is the amount of detail you need for product mockups if clients havent requested packaging designs! Ive had clients request the mockuped design for free and I didnt know what to do cus Id already designed it and felt bad asking for payment!🙈

Really cool and informative video. I love how you use Illustrator and it motivated me to learn more about the software. I've mostly been using Photoshop because it's always been easier for me, but now see lots of advantages in using Illustrator.

Hi! Absolutely Loved your video. Although I got stuck on one part. While choosing the color palette, the document mode was set to RGB. Now while printing, the chosen RGB based colors are not always printed accurately as they are displayed on the screen. Now, to have consistent look and feel across all mediums should be the goal. Have we missed the step where we should ensure CMYK-RGB consistency, or is it skipped on purpose to shorten the length of this video. Also, as the product requires packaging, should we choose color palletes with correspondence to CMYK Colors, since they are more limited than RGB Colours??? Thank you for the help!
You are right, there should always be a CMYK consideration for colours to ensure consistency of brand across multiple delivery platforms, both digital and print

I personally only present a single concept. Pouring my focus into one concept allows me to craft something that fits the brief fully and has my full attention leading to better design, application and happy clients. Some designers do present more than one so it's entirely up to you :)
