Fried Bananas (Thai Fried Bananas) Crunchy and Delicious

  • Hey, let’s make fried bananas.
    Ingredients:
    1 cup banana/fruit/vegetable batter mix
    1/2 cup rice flour
    1/3 cup all purpose flour
    1 cup sugar
    1/4 cup water
    1 can (400 ml) coconut milk
    1 TB black sesame seeds (optional)
    Serving size: 10 medium size bananas (40-50 fried bananas)

      Yes no baking powder as the prepackaged powder already contains baking powder.

    I tried making today but the batter didnt stick to the banana. Is it because my oil was too hot

      In a previous comment she stated that the oil may be too hot or not hot enough but try to dip the banana in dry all purpose flour lightly first then the wet batter. Hope this helps! 😊

    I made it the first time and it turned out delicious, but the 2nd and 3rd time around the batter started separating in the oil. What did I do wrong. HELP!!!

      Hi, was the heat to low or to high? You can try dipping your banana in dry all purpose flour lightly then dip into the wet batter. Hopefully this helps.

    Why do my fritters stick to the bottom of my pan?

      It could be the oil is not hot enough, they should float to top after a few seconds of cooking.
