I bought it recently and I love it. It's loud, super resonant, sounds great to my ears, perfect intonation and stays in tune. But what people often fail to mention is playability. It's amazing, so easy to play with a slim neck profile, shorter scale length and slightly smaller body size + that arm bevel. You can really play that thing a long time comfortably.
Playability is it's biggest strength, you will not won't to put it down once you pick it up.

I like the quirky "stringy" tone of the Baby series guitars, and how they are low tension and easy to play.

Do you still like your Academy? How does the scale length feel compared to a "full" size guitar or even a GS Mini?

    • @cloutdoors5674

@@maxherron1376 it sounds bigger than a GS mini and not quite as big or full sounding as my Yamaha FG830 but its also more comfortable to play than my FG and the A10 has the perfect 24 -7/8" scale length

For demos like this it would really be nice to hear the full range of tonal flexibility, by having the player boost then cut the bass and treble controls do we can hear the full range of tones not just the one preferred by the demoer, thanks

      David Martinez
      Buenos Dias David!
The Taylor Academy 10 is smaller.
It has a much thinner body.
      The neck is shorter too.
The 110 is a full, nice big adult size.
The 110 has a woody, vintage kind of sound. Very balanced.
The Academy high B and E strings are much stronger. The guitar has a much brighter sound.
The Academy is better for travel.
The 110 has more mature, better overall sound.
      I recommend the 110.

Buna ziua Dave!
      Ciao.

He could have said under $700, that's how much those guitars cost. Not under one thousand dollars...you could do better "market talk" next time around. It would sound a lot better for the people like me that cannot afford a high-end model Taylors. Just saying...:)
