I didn’t hear the word ‘hamper’ until I was at a friends house.. we called them ‘bucket monsters’ because an older sibling once put one on their head and pretend fed to be a monster before I was born. So when I called one a ‘bucketmonsters’ people thought I was bonkers. 🤣

What is so bad about them?
Just to be sure you are aware - if you shop Dollar Tree, Walmart online marketplace, a huge portion of Amazon products, etc it is the same thing. A lot of people think it's limited to Shein/Temu; however, most vendors where it seems like you are getting a great deal or a more affordable option than others is in the same market as them.
I watch y’all every Sunday- and then again later in the week. You bring such truthfulness not only to the beauty world but also show the realities of being content creators and all the ups and downs that come with it. Your work is so appreciated Johnny and Kevin!!

Absolutely! These two are keeping it real! When they say "Don't waste your time and money!", believe it! It's not just their honesty, it's their not caring to state the truth about popular brands and their mistakes. They also just don't push the expensive stuff on you. If there's a drug store equivalent, they tell you exactly which one it is! I just love these two! ❤❤
Funny thing is I remember running into Cuba Gooding Jr (during his prime days) randomly at 4a one night in NYC. I walked by him (he was alone) and said the same exact thing, “isn’t that Cuba Gooding Jr?”- and he turned around and started laughing and replied “is he?” 😂😂.
He was soooooo nice and humble… we chatted for a few mins before I got to my car.

Kevin, I know I said this last video, but that pink really does look great in your hair. It looks like your hair is naturally maturing to pink, just like my brown hair naturally matured to 50 shades of grade.
Have you guys tried K Beauty sunscreens? They’re a world above anything else, I’ll never use anything else. I tired 35 sunscreens in 18 months, I am super sensitive to both chemical and mineral sunscreens and could tolerate none until I found K beauty.
What are your favorites?

No7 is huge here in the UK and I know there they sell it at Ulta. If you ever want to venture into their foundations I think you will be pleasantly surprised! They are in my top of tops! Several formulas and none have let me down! I keep going back to them!

I'm really curious about the Super Goop tint. Can you use enough of this product for good SPF coverage (~.25 tsp) and it still looks nice, or would you need to use another SPF under it because you don't need to use that much of the tint?

The charlotte tilbury ultimate(hell) ‘NO’ foundation! Someone I watch did the stick on what side, flawless filter on the other && you could NOT tell the difference. It’s prob stupid expensive too for nothing! KEV I agree, last week I commented that I 💗 lip liners by her because of how long lasting they are & other than nyx line loud I’ve yet to find a drugstore alternative. That nyx line the shades are SO off orange, peachy, hot pink when they’re described as most natural shades & they usually nail lip shades. I’m waiting for ELF to dupe those!!! Or rly any drugstore alternative. I know it can be done!!!
I love every elf product I've tried, but since I discovered the She Glam powder foundation (thanks to Johnny), I'm done trying other foundations. That said, the Lipstick Lesbians did not like the new elf foundation. It oxidized and turned yellow pretty quickly on Alexis. Also, it did not hold up to Robert Welsh's wear test. He recommended it more for dry skin. So, even if I were in the market for a new foundation, it would be a pass for me.

So on the Patrick Ta subject, with glowy products and oily, textured,or combo skin not being compatible, though I do agree with Johnny that yes you may need to find a certain mixture and order and technique to make them work for you. However if you want to wear a glowy look, glossy shiny products, wet-look shimmers, or whatever, then you should do that if you feel pretty and you like it. It is ok if your texture shows a bit more. It's ok if it dissapears quickly and you either have to reapply or you end up not looking your best by the end of the day. We have skin. Everyone does. Everyone has pores. Texture. Lines whether static or dynamic. You would probably look and feel better if you just accepted yourself and do what makes you happy than if you put tons of effort into trying to hide yourself and bend an effect to try and trick your appearance. Just gloss up that cheek and smile bright knowing your cheekbones are going to be catching the light and giving the effect you wanted!!!

Hiya Girls, thanks a bunch for another fab episode, ngl you helped give me the confidence to wear my makeup to work, now I wouldn't have it another way. ❤❤❤
In my experience, The protect - tint by super goop does NOT wear nicely. I have dry skin with minimal texture. I would wear this to my office job and after 3 hours it would start to dry up and make my skin look horrible and patchy. Not to mention it makes my skin feel dry and tight after a few hours. It is incredibly oily which made my bosses ask why I looked so sweaty 💀. Overall, don't recommend for dry skin. The oil in this product provides no comfort during the day. I switched to the Dr Jart BB cream and it's a natural finish, much more hydrating and wears beautifully, even on hot summer days. It also has SPF and I can layer it with when reapplying it throughout the day! Can't do that with the supergoop one.
Do you know what I go the whole week waiting for this podcast and then day of I completely forget this podcast exists and then I get the notification and then I scream and I click it and then the whole cycle starts

Don’t know if anyone needs to know this but as someone married to a Japanese, “byoma” means the Plague in Japanese. It’s closely related to the word “hospital” too (byōin). Makes my Japanese husband chuckle whenever he used to see me put the “plague” on my face 😂😂😂 (I stopped using the brand because the results were meh)

I’m a 27yo female who’s endured years of eczema due to a hormone imbalance. I’m finally taking steps to regulate and am hopeful the eczema will subside; however, my legs are covered with dark spots and scars from years of itching and scratching to the most unbearable of degrees.
I just saw on RUclips an ad for a new Olay retinol body wash. I swear I’ve heard y’all talk about retinol before… Doesn’t it burn your skin off or something 😶 They have before and after images but I know how that game works.
Is it worth the purchase and try? Or should I pass and attempt another product that y’all might know about?

Controversial I love the charlotte highlight and contour palette it’s just the perfect shade of contour for me and I’m too lazy too look for another. I honestly hate the pressed powder don’t get the hype. I do like the blush wand and highlighter wand but hate the contour wand. I also like their two tone blushes as well but so many brands do it now.
Byoma skincare is next level amazing. Their serums are amazing. I also love that you guys love the nyx butter melt line. They are now my go to products. I love them. Love you guys so much.

I really love how buttery the Physician’s Formula bronzer is but I honestly cannot take the fragrance in it!! It literally makes me sick to my stomach 🤢🤢🤢

I have very fair yellow toned skin. My avatar is even more washed out than I actually am. It's very difficult for me to find foundation despite everyone complaining about it being too yellow.
By the time it's warm yellow enough, it's too dark for my skin. Anything pale enough is either gray or pink-gray even if it says warm it's a lie lol. Tir tir is the one I found that actually matches.
I'm disappointed that I can't try the shot 😔 I'm sensitive to black pepper extract and my poor stomach couldn't take it. But I did click the link so hopefully that gets you some credit! Love your videos so much
