I agree with the Danessa Myrics product. Oily skin people don’t want heavy layers and because I live in a hot humid climate this product is a life saver. So lightweight and helps keep me less shiny. I’ve tested it on half my face several times and it truly works.
That fenty luminous foundation is hands down the best foundation I've ever used! One of my old favorites was the clinique even better glow but it was discontinued. This foundation is so so beautiful and dewy and amazing coverage. I'm 44 and every single time I have worn it, when I look in the mirror I'm impressed with how young I look lmao seriously it's that good.
Oh that’s amazing to hear! I’m so glad that you love it so much too! 😍 I feel like they are one of the first brands to nail a hydrating formula that looks good on so many skin types!
I REALLY want to try the new fenty foundation you showed. The original was too drying for me. This one looks like it might work for me. I’m not as oily as I used to be. We are the same shade, now I know which one to get. I am a light olive, you might be a little more warm but olive never seems to pop up in brands. So I always go with what you use.
Hey love your reviews!! How would you say the Kosas blush compare to the Milani baked blushes? I know you love that one too but the milani one is a little too shimmery for me. Wondering if the Kosas one is less shimmery?
So excited to use the new ND palette I received it yesterday. I’m even happier that I used points and a coupon ended up paying four dollars for it. thanks for sharing your faves thus far
Even though I think that the price of the six pan palettes from Too Faced is far too high, I have to admit that both of them are beautifully curated! Thanks for sharing your favourites of the year so far! 💕
Love this video. Thank you for sharing have really cut back on my high end purchases , I am going to get the urban decay foundation. Would love to spend some serious money on Natasha Denona but have to be an adult lol. Take care and stay safe. ❤❤❤❤
So happy you ended up getting and loving the Patrick Ta major dimensions III palette! I was at Sephora today and picked up the new Kosas blush in dreamland based on your recommendation so I’m super excited (the shades and the subtle baked glow definitely got to me) 😂 Have you tried the new Patrick Ta highlighters yet!? I’d love to hear your thoughts ❤
I have She's the Moment. The best red lipstick I have is Sephora lip stain. It's not really a stain. The best concealer I found for my mature eyes is Neutrogena stick Hydro Boost.!
Hey Andrea! I don’t comment a lot but I am today! This is kinda long, so I’m sorry in advance! I am going to rewatch your best of 2024 drugstore video also! I will have some questions on that video also! Ok first of all, I’ve been on a no buy and now a low buy for the past 3 yrs now. I had been very sick for the previous 10 yrs so and then went crazy on buying more makeup a few years back, like more than I could ever use. Not just 1 type of product but all of it. The most expensive was of course eyeshadow pallets. Many one off brands but lots of pallets from a few brands in particular: tons of MAC singles which I’ll never use. Lots of Sydney Grace pallets (that I love) and almost all of their singles (which I’ll never ever use- what a waste). Also a few PM pallets- not worth the hype to me at all. Tons of CP ones which were a great starter brand, I really don’t use them now but my teenage Dtr loves a few of them at least. Then my most fav brand- ND. I have alot of her mini pallets that I love! The Biba pallet- which I love but rarely use. Then most all of her midi size pallets. So I just started making a few purchases but haven’t used them yet. I got her I need a nude pallet, her my dream midi and mini pallet. I still need or want the I think starlette mini pallet, the yucca pallet! I also got the Patrick Ta MD 2 (the pink one). So I have 2 questions after all that- in ur opinion, if u we’re picking between the ND Golden pallet and the Patrick Ta MD 1 pallet, which I don’t have, which is better? Also in ur opinion the ND yucca pallet vs the Odens Eye Stone&Rock pallet (I think u have that one). Ok so sorry that was long. Thx in adv if u read this.
@@MollyGordon I should have just asked the simple question and maybe she’d have been able to get to it easier… lol. I’m long winded and she DOES have a life… lol
Have you done a vidoe on matching foundation shades & concealer shades? I know theres tons out there but I would love to hear your thoughts as this is the category I struggle with most as a fair to light olive skin person. Also finding brow shades that doesnt make them look too harsh. Do we match to our hair? Or do we go lighter than our hair? Im so confused. Would love to hear your thoughts.
I’m generally a big ColourPop fan so I feel like if there’s a CP palette you’re eyeing that you might like I would go with that one because of the price! I feel like Mario’s formula isn’t as powdery as ColourPop but they blend similarly on the eyes. In general, I find ColourPop to be more pigmented and Mario to be more buildable. I would say the Neutral Mattes is more worth it that the original Master Mattes because it’s harder to find those tones in other palettes! I hope that helps!
I love the new Fenty blush with the shimmer. It's gorgeous. It does remind me of the Milani baked blushes. As does those Kosas ones. I recently picked up the Tarte foundation brush when they had their 6 for 60 sale.... it's changed the foundation game for me. I also pair it with the Tatcha primer and wow, my foundation looks good at the end of the day. I also picked up the Tarte BB cream with the SPF. Best foundation I've tried in a long time. So beautiful.
By the way you have totally influenced me. I now have the watermelon elf lip oil, two colors of the NYX butter blush, the essence lip oil (the bigger one), and the elf Camo CC cream. And I love them all. All your fault !!! And I’m gonna get a backup of the watermelon lip oil, and the elf eye primer when I can find it at my Ulta. I hate shipping from ulta, they do a horrible job.
I agree! 😭 I just ordered an essence highlighter from Ulta and it came shattered all over everything. I’m seriously so glad to hear that you’re loving those products! That makes me so happy to hear. 🥰 Thank you for watching my videos!
Hi Andre’a, I enjoyed watching this video, the best or should I say most used high end makeup products so far in 2024 is Natasha Denona berry pop cheek trio blush, and her yucca palette & her mini palettes , that I have slowly been purchasing, I am looking forward to purchasing the golden palette it just my style. Love Katherine xoxo
I have oily skin and think matte is better for me. should i try the og fenty matte foundation? luminous was lovely but glowy on me haha which isnt as flattering on me
I often see too faced palettes at cosmetic company outlet stores and at Winners/TJ max. I just found my fave too faced palette on Ipsy for half price of full retail!! Win!
Such a good list 😀 my favorite makeup launches so far this year have been: Lisa Eldridge kitten lash mascara, urban decay face bond foundation, Natasha Denona golden palette, makeup by Mario master mattes neutrals, the new Patrick ta double take blush duo shades
I’m loving the NYX Buttermelt blushes. Love the shades, pigment, color coded protective packaging, pan size, and subtle beachy scent. Got them all and the 2 lightest shades matching Bronzers too.
I just love your videos, my only problem is now I might want to buy the new ND palette hahaha I have already convinced myself it wasn't that good....but ai do feel I'll be the best match for my I need nude palette You also help me be sure about the Fenty foundation ❤ I'm just waiting for a good discount 🎉
Ahhh it’s a tough choice! The quality is so nice but surprisingly I did find quite a few similar palettes in my collection. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch! 💗
Thank you for watching! Haha I feel like I’m slowly falling into hair care lately too! There are so many brands I haven’t tried that keep catching my attention. 🙈
@AndreaMatillano right?? I didn't do any self care for many years or wear makeup, but now at 61, I'm getting back into it! It started with wanting to look good for my granddaughters wedding! I gave her away!
@macandfire5477 I'm trying a few things. I really like Paulas choice 2% Bha and a milk toner from ordinary olay vitimin C I also have snail mucin and rice toner! I'm just mixing and matching whatever I think is working!

Yess! It feels like a regular serum, I don't know what type of magic Danessa put in it, but it's a godsend for oily skin.

I need to try this!
What's your skin type? Dry?
Thank you so much for discussing the real vs artificial scents on the tower 28 lip products. It makes a big difference for me!
I’m so glad it’s helpful! Thank you for the feedback! 🥰
The ensley reign palette has been so worth the splurge. It’s one of the most incredible shadow palette formulas I’ve tried. I got groovy garden.

In comparison to Colourpop’s formula, are the Mario palettes worth it in your opinion? I’ve been eyeing them for so long!

The Fenty foundation stick is definitely worth the splurge! It has been my favorite foundation since I bought it! I’m on my 3rd stick :)

The Tower 28 confetti cake How long has it been since that came out? I guess there's no chance of finding it?
I just got my ND gold pallet today and I am loving it! I also have the Patrick Ta blushes, which are awesome. Thanks Andrea! ☺
Making dinner and watching. Happy Wednesday ❌️ ⭕️
I hope you’re having a great week so far! Thanks for watching Lisa! 🥰

I love the new gold denona with the browns from my naked honey! 🍯
Laura Geller did those blushes before Kosas did, bronzers too. I’m old school.

I love that we had so many in common! 💗 There have been so many good launches for 2024 so far!
Have you tried the Gold palette with Empowered by Huda? I wonder if the Gold palette would elevate Huda's even more? 🤔🤔🤔
Does the Patrick Ta crème eyeshadows crease on you? Thank you.
I feel like they do if it’s a super long or hot day. If I use them as liner, I don’t have any issues though.
@@AndreaMatillano thank you!!
I love the new Fenty foundation! 😍
I needed this video. I want to get the best looks without spending all my money in 5 different formulas and only liking one 😅 love your videos 💜

This Lip Tinted Balm is my favorite
It really is such a beautiful formula!
