Bring back the colorful looks! I've been seeing the 80's eyeshadow... those people knew what they were doing. I'm came to this world towards the very end of the 80's, so my mother didn't allow me to wear makeup.
If you love colour, wear colour. You don't need to follow fashions. Set your own fashion. Some days I wear no makeup, some days I wear minimum nudey looks. And other days I like my full glam with bright colours 🥰. Do what makes you happy. ❤

yay I love color on the eyes! I usually match my eye look to my outfit. If there's color in my outfit I try to use that as a guide, makes it easier to make decisions ❤
I love eyeshadow palettes. Eyeshadow is my favorite makeup product. It makes me so sad that eyeshadow is on the decline as far as people wanting to use it. I think they still are wearing shadow, but they are more into singles or are minimalistic. Im still putting on a full beat when I feel like it. As all trends, eyeshadow will come back into trend. I bet that's why eyeshadow singles are going up in price and new releases of singles are so expensive!
Very true! There are a lot of beautiful single shadows but there’s nothing quite like a good palette. I’m with you! I love a more dramatic look these days even though minimal makeup is trending.
I actually got the Roxa palette and I was able to create a smoky burgundy look and a little more pinky/purple look. I absolutely love it and have gotten so many compliments.

I am obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. I have a really solid collection. My go to for the past year and a half has been ABH Cosmos. I use it year round. I put the Huda Beauty Icy Nude palette on my Christmas list. I was obsessed with her Mercury Retrograde palette.
I got ND new purple palette. As a purple lover myself I’m obsessed with it. I would actually urge you to get it. I think it has the best purple formulated shadows yet!! 💜💜💜

I just didn't go for larger palettes this year. I'm much more interested in a 4 or 6 pan palette that gives me everything I need for a complete look. Now THAT is a rare find. ColourPop's 4 pans have been my absolute faves this year. I have probably every colorway available. They're such good quality and the BEST for travel.
When they first launched those I loved traveling with them! They are the perfect size and the color stories are great, but I did find that sometimes the shimmer would shatter on me. 😭 Has that happened to you?
@@AndreaMatillanoyes sadly it has. I've had to repress a couple of the shimmers. It's great that they're not expensive, it doesn't hurt quite as much. 😂
I would totally buy a patrick ta palette again if he makes a smaller palette for lighter skin tones. I loved his formula but i would only wear like 3 or 4 colors because most of the shades were too dark for my personal preference.
I do have an like the Revolution palettes, however the cream didn’t work for liner for me at all- I haven’t tried it as a base or even used it again after how badly it performed as liner. But I do like the mattes and shimmers.
2:56 I was asked to participate to a survey by Huda Beauty. It was quite long and detailed, and there were ZERO questions on eyeshadow. It looked to me like they were seeking to specialize in skin care, complexion and lip products. Did they say no more large eye palettes, or no more eye palettes at all? That’s what it looked like to me.
Oh wow! That’s really interesting because I was wondering which direction they were going to go. At first I thought they said this was the last palette but then I heard some people say the last large palette so now I’m hoping that’s actually the case! I will be sad if they decide not to do more palette in the future.

It’s funny, I agree with your taste/style/preferences on almost everything-it’s weird! But, for some reason, I Need a Warm is becoming my fave ND palette. (I have about nine of her midi palettes.) I’m going to try this with Bronze-great idea!
I ordered a few this year and the quality was really great! I think the issue is I don’t wear super colorful makeup as much as I used to and I ended up ordering really colorful palettes from them. 😭 I’m definitely always blown away by the quality though. 🙌

I think if you want a beautiful gradient-and I almost always do-a buildable formula is ideal. For me anyway.
Definitely more versatility than a high impact palette
I’ve heard that MUBM uses actual skin tones to create his neutrals which is why they are so beautiful

Same. Or smaller palettes in size with a few more I don't mind, but HUGE palettes with 6 puts me off.
