Milk Makeup lost me as a customer when they decided to make their products less than half the size they used to be. The price didn't get cut in half, just the product. Sad because I like the product I bought before this change.

I have always preferred contour to bronzer due to my fair, cool-toned skin, and I recently bought this product but haven't tried it yet, but I'm excited! I really love the sculpt shade from Kaleidos' Symphony Contour trio, and I want them to come out with that shade as a single like they did with their powder sooooo badly, it's just perfect for my skintone! Cause, like you said, a lot of the times when brands release "contours", they're way too warm leaning!

These contours look great on you!! I'd love to try them but every time I try to contour my face it just ends up looking kind of "dirty". It would be awesome if you would do a stick/liquid contour demo with current products like Milk, Ilia, etc. And for different face shapes. You're wonderful! ❤
You may be blending contour out too much across too large of an area making it look all quite grey. You may also want to always pair it alongside a bronzer. And it may just be an issue of you needing to play around with the shades and undertones of the bronzer until you find a great match for your skin.
That looks really good on you. So an idea I would love to see you do is a full face of gluten free makeup I remember long ago you mentioned someone in your family had a gluten tolerance and I have celiac and would love to see a full face that would not break me out 😊
Oh wow amber, I didn't realize celiac affected even cosmetic use. I hope the industry might wake up & consider actual medical needs over fad ethics. I hope you are able to find good makeup...I would guess that gluten gets snuck into all kinds of things. I'm always amazed at foods that could easily be gluten-free or dairy-free (for me) that have cheap gluteny ingredients or whey/casein for filler, thickener, stabilizer, even scent! Lol dairy smell is usually vanilla, I hate that you'll find whey in things just to boost an artificial flavor like "cheesecake" or "anything&cream"

Thanks everyone I have had it (or known about it) for 18 years and yes things have come a long way since then but yes I get reactions on my skin as well( lotions shampoo ect) I don't remember the medical name but the skin version my immuneoligist calls it HD the skin reaction to celiac. Now once in a while I can wear most cosmetics ( besides lip products) with gluten but I have noticed if I find something I like and it has gluten in it and I wear it for long periods I break out( not a good look at 42). Would love to have a good line completely gluten-free ( a lot of elf is). Would love a dedicated gluten-free line. May not even be a specific product sometimes, but we as consumers don't know what else is produced in the same facility or lines as other products. Cross contamination is no fun.😔

I've never tried the contour but I absolutely LOVE the Matte Cream Bronzer Stick! A little goes a really long way and it's so easy to blend. I was skeptical at first because of the size of the tube but it lasts a surprisingly long time.
I just got that when they first launched and I am absolutely in LOVE with it!! I’m pretty fair so I can never find a true contour shade for my skin tone. Like you said, they’re all bronzers and look so warm/orange on me. I have the shade toasted (the lightest shade and the tone is literally perfect!! And thank god they have an amazing formula too! I think milk nailed it with these contour sticks!
i compared this with the fenty contour in amber, the exact same color! but for me, milk blended way too much and just kinda disappeared into my skin, where fenty actually stayed and kept pigment, it was so strange! but i am SO happy about both of their shade ranges, its incredible!

Thank you for this video! I've been a MILK fan for so long and have been wanting them to make a true contour product for years! I personally have been fine with the smaller components that they've switched to because the old "full size" components had so much product that I'd always have to throw them out before I got even close to using it all. This size is likely going to be overall less wasteful, in the long run. I love their highlighters and blushes, but don't use foundation daily. They have been marketed for years in a way that you would use the warmth of your finger or face to warm and apply the product, so I think that's why it might be more "oily" in your experience - sort of like a cleansing balm is meant to be solid to fluid with body heat.
You are so beautiful 😍! The only two products I love is the highlighter in turnt and the lip and cheek in werk. Beautiful colors and products. I will say for whatever reason the lip and cheek color werk absorbs into the skin after so long and you have to constantly reapply.
Trust me, you don't want the bigger size. The cult classic bronzer used to come in double that and it was lasting so long that it's shelf life expired so the halfed both the product and the price. Very fair I thought

Oh I love this. I always stuggle with finding contour since I'm verryy cool toned and it usually ends up looking like streaks of warm mud on my face instead of shadows if I'm not careful. I might have to try this one. I just ordered a contour from sheglam since people were saying the soft tan there was cool toned too, but we'll see ♥ Love you and your videos so much!
I recently bought the milk sculpt and whilst i agree the colour and payoff is really good, the packaging is useless. After the 2nd use the stick would no longer twist up. So now I'm having to like dig out product from the bottom of the tube, put it on the back of my hand and use it from there with my fingers or brush. Not ideal!

I got shade toasted too and it blends really well, quite hard to find actual contour shades these days. I still love the Fenty amber one cause of that cream to powder finish and staying power but this one is definitely more handbag friendly!

So, I’ve bought the new sculpt stick in toasted. As a fair person, it’s hard to find cream bronzers and contour in the right undertone and depth, so yeah, toasted is great. It’s one of the first cream bronzers I’ve actually been able to build up. I’m usually having to go real easy. It’s lovely. Yeah, it’s tiny. It’s a tiny little turd. But the color is noice. That’s my thoughts. I love it. Hate the price. ❤❤❤
It is so hard to find a real contour. Bronzer and contour are two different things and I think some brands forget that. My fav contour palette is actually an eye palette so that there isn't a red undertone.I will die on the hydrogrip hill so I am actually excited about this.
Robert, I wanted to reach out to you, just to say thank you. Thank you for never letting us down during the bad days of COVID, when you still gave us your bold eye looks for us to feel nice. You took into account we could not buy much, but this didn't stop you from giving us good eye looks. You didn't go earthy, I call it (depressing). I have a lot of expensive pallets purchased just because of likes of MUA's and all of a sudden everyone wanted to go earthy.🤣🤣I need my favorite MUA's show me all of their nice looks. Could you show the brushes you recommend for either each step in makeup or at least blending cream contour please? I like the look of the one you're using here although I currently use quite a dense one which is good for more dry cream bronzer than those slippy ones
While that looks incredible, 2023 is definitely the year I try to use up my makeup. I’ve been guilty of being influenced and I just need a break. Plus it’s a little pricey for the size.
I love Milk. I currently use ABH’a contour stick, which is just their stick foundation in contour shades. I am running low- so this is something I would be willing to try. Oh those look tiny! 😂😂😂Maybe not. Anyway- the ABH has a lot of product that I buy maybe 2 times a year

I absolutely love the shade toasted. Yes it's small but it's also only $24 and finding a true contour/bronzer shade for a fair cool person is rare (everything is orange, yellow, or way too gray) so I am all about these. I love the blush I picked up too and agree the formula is really easily blendable. Great for everyday 👏

Your last video featuring some Max Factor products reminded me that Max Factor was the first stick product I used decades ago and used 3 different foundation stick colors to cover, contour, and brighten. Now everyone makes sticks for everything. As for Milk, I have seen several quickly spoiled products to the point that I cannot buy them. Hey, Im planning on getting a contour for the first time ever. Came across your video and liked your review on milk contour. Could you tell me what shade I should get in the contour- stoked or simmer? For reference I am a brown girl. I use the shade 6.25 (med-tan golden) in armani luminous silk foundation.
I really enjoy the shade but I’m having a bit of trouble with the balmy texture. Since I use it for underpainting I need it to be quite visible, but both sponge and brush just eats it on my face🤣 I guess I’ll have to dig out a really dense brush to work with it but does anyone have any tips otherwise? Would be happy to know!
The tiny size I can kind of get because it lets you be more precise and actually use up the product but keeping the price the SAME was not only greedy but truly bone-headed because the optics are atrocious and have massively turned off the public. It's going to be very difficult for them to come back from unless they drastically slash the price.
Have you tried their concealer? it's supposed to be amazing. Heard good things about their new matte setting spray too (black bottle). Don't know if you've watched Bekah Sun, but she recently did a Milk brand review video and talked about the brand ethos - inclusivity, both marketing and behind the scenes, in terms of shade inclusivity but also gender, which was really good to hear.

Yes - I'm so glad you said this = because one of my pet peeves is when somebody markets a product as a contour, when it should actually be a bronzer.

The bigger size I never got through before went off. The smaller size is great for travel too. I really enjoy their stick blush too.

I got shade toasted too and it blends really well, quite hard to find actual contour shades these days. I still love the Fenty amber one cause of that cream to powder finish and staying power but this one is definitely more handbag friendly!

I feel like I can really trust your opinion on products because it’s obvious how experienced you are. I’d say I’m on the whole good at doing make up but by no means great but I’ve learnt so much from you so THANK YOU! So, I’ve bought the new sculpt stick in toasted. As a fair person, it’s hard to find cream bronzers and contour in the right undertone and depth, so yeah, toasted is great. It’s one of the first cream bronzers I’ve actually been able to build up. I’m usually having to go real easy. It’s lovely. Yeah, it’s tiny. It’s a tiny little turd. But the color is noice. That’s my thoughts. I love it. Hate the price. ❤❤❤
It is so hard to find a real contour. Bronzer and contour are two different things and I think some brands forget that. My fav contour palette is actually an eye palette so that there isn't a red undertone.I will die on the hydrogrip hill so I am actually excited about this.
Robert, I wanted to reach out to you, just to say thank you. Thank you for never letting us down during the bad days of COVID, when you still gave us your bold eye looks for us to feel nice. You took into account we could not buy much, but this didn't stop you from giving us good eye looks. You didn't go earthy, I call it (depressing). I have a lot of expensive pallets purchased just because of likes of MUA's and all of a sudden everyone wanted to go earthy.🤣🤣I need my favorite MUA's show me all of their nice looks. Could you show the brushes you recommend for either each step in makeup or at least blending cream contour please? I like the look of the one you're using here although I currently use quite a dense one which is good for more dry cream bronzer than those slippy ones
While that looks incredible, 2023 is definitely the year I try to use up my makeup. I’ve been guilty of being influenced and I just need a break. Plus it’s a little pricey for the size.
I love Milk. I currently use ABH’a contour stick, which is just their stick foundation in contour shades. I am running low- so this is something I would be willing to try. Oh those look tiny! 😂😂😂Maybe not. Anyway- the ABH has a lot of product that I buy maybe 2 times a year

Robert, that first contour stick you used looks cool-toned on my end. Is it in person? I am quite fair and cool-toned and find it hard to get one that is light enough and also cool-toned. That would be amazing!

Non of them are like Amber! Amber in comparison is pure grey. Love the colour of Amber but I do prefer the milk one on me!
Milk Makeup Stick is 6g, Rare Beauty Bronzer stick is 7g. It's has the normal amount of product, the packaging just visually small.
I absolutely love the shade toasted. Yes it's small but it's also only $24 and finding a true contour/bronzer shade for a fair cool person is rare (everything is orange, yellow, or way too gray) so I am all about these. I love the blush I picked up too and agree the formula is really easily blendable. Great for everyday 👏
I wish I was in a financial position to say “only $24” for such a small product.

Your last video featuring some Max Factor products reminded me that Max Factor was the first stick product I used decades ago and used 3 different foundation stick colors to cover, contour, and brighten. Now everyone makes sticks for everything. As for Milk, I have seen several quickly spoiled products to the point that I cannot buy them. Too much money for products that spoil too quickly for my budget and usage level. But it does look lovely. Enjoy to everyone who loves it. 💜🤎💜

Hey, Im planning on getting a contour for the first time ever. Came across your video and liked your review on milk contour. Could you tell me what shade I should get in the contour- stoked or simmer? For reference I am a brown girl. I use the shade 6.25 (med-tan golden) in armani luminous silk foundation.
I really enjoy the shade but I’m having a bit of trouble with the balmy texture. Since I use it for underpainting I need it to be quite visible, but both sponge and brush just eats it on my face🤣 I guess I’ll have to dig out a really dense brush to work with it but does anyone have any tips otherwise? Would be happy to know!
The tiny size I can kind of get because it lets you be more precise and actually use up the product but keeping the price the SAME was not only greedy but truly bone-headed because the optics are atrocious and have massively turned off the public. It's going to be very difficult for them to come back from unless they drastically slash the price.

Have you tried their concealer? it's supposed to be amazing. Heard good things about their new matte setting spray too (black bottle). Don't know if you've watched Bekah Sun, but she recently did a Milk brand review video and talked about the brand ethos - inclusivity, both marketing and behind the scenes, in terms of shade inclusivity but also gender, which was really good to hear.
