Can you do a video on makeup expiration dates and if there are ways around it lol? I feel like I’ve thrown out a lot of makeup bc it passed the expiration and wonder if it’s necessary
@@cakeisavegatable you don’t have to follow the expiration dates, I never do. If a product has changed texture, colour or smells weird than it’s gone off and it’s in the bin otherwise it’s fine.

I now tend to stay away from foundations or concealers that claim to be for all skin types. I've never personally tried a product where that turned out to be true.
I just came to comment that I'm so tired of the "for all skin types" claims. That can't be true, so just tell us who it's for exactly! The more accurate they are in marketing and labeling, the more happy customers because they'll actually be buying what's right for them.
Products can be for all skin types, but that doesn’t mean that the performance of the product is the same for each type. We just have to keep reading reviews and educating ourselves on the ingredients.
What they mean is the product is into dry or too wet. Unfortunately, we know that's a lie. And with long-wearing products, they have to go in the drier route because that's how they are long lasting. How often do we see explicitly Dewey or satin products claim to be long-wearing!? It's always matte products or "natural" (ie matte in some form)
I sell this product at the counter I work at. It’s like Tarte Shape tape with a brush on top. I don’t like the brush at all. I’m more impressed by the new IT Cosmetics bye bye dark spots concealer. It’s medium to full coverage and truly hydrating. And the brush is smaller and softer.
honestly the it cosmetics one i just tap in with my fingers; i find the brush isnt the greatest

I have been wanting to see a wear test on this as UD always have a super fair shade I can use. I did find their stay naked concealer oxidised on me though.

I’m always all for wearing Halloween t-shirts any time of the year. 😁🦇 When it’s too sunny & hot outside, I feel like my energy is getting zapped. I don’t mind a bit of pleasant warmth and sunshine from the sun…just not too much. I appreciate you showing us the product under different lighting conditions. Beauty influencers use such bright ring lights that it’s difficult to know their actual skin tone (with and without makeup). I can never tell if someone’s skintone is really similar to mine, or if it’s just like that on their thumbnail/video.

I love your absolute honest opinion reviews robert,and that you use your fingers when applying makeup,most mua use brushes and brushes only. I love love urban decay concealers,used them for years, used to use benefit ones, formula went weird and tacky on me. I'm going to try this as I've combination skin. 2 concealers that have completely different coverages and finishes that I have really been enjoying are the new Natasha Denona and Tarte Radiant. They are my favorites for different purposes other than Tarte Ultra creamy for my dry undereyes and oily skin. Thanks for trying this! 💜🖤💜🖤

I have that Sigma brush and it’s really awesome, worth every penny. Amazing for small areas! Bought it in 2020 and I use it pretty much every day, it still looks new.

You can use it with any mascara to refreshen it throughout the day, I heard it wasn't good though

The Bobbi brown concealer and colour corrector in the stick is my fav concealer formula.
I bought this when Boots had 20% off and love it. I do like full coverage and UD was my favourite complexion product brand way back in my uni days, so I was keen on trying this as I liked the stay naked one before. Although the Brush is big, it is convenient for travel

No one ever talks about how good the colourpop pretty fresh concealer is. I always want new ones and try new ones but I always go back
I really preferred the other Naked concealer. It didn't make my eyes look dry and cracked underneath

I love all my Urban Decay shadow palettes and find it's the rare exception to my only buying inexpensive make-up. I have many UD shadows that I adore. And use regularly. I've never tried any of their other products, aside from Perversion mascara. Interested in this review!

Have you tried the Glowish sheer concealer? I'm curious to know how it compares to other concealers since it's sheer and intended for everyday and light coverage makeup.

Thank you for the review! I do you use Urban Decay products, so I'm glad you do this. I have been using Thrive's concealer and it was $42 and it said it did not crease and it DOES!
Have you tried the Dior Backstage concealer? It’s my favorite right now, it doesn’t crease at all once it’s set with a little powder.

The looks you give us whenever there is a weird noise or even if you drop something, my brain immediately goes to “Robert has a ghost in his house”😂
Good to see this worked for you, and I had my suspicions it might just be bad luck on my part that this just doesn't suit me. I used even less than you in the video on my eye area - the tiniest dot the applicator allows - but this is way too obviously dry looking on my skin unfortunately - no way for me to make this useable under or around my eyes even if I used foundation before or after, so can only use this as a mixing pigment rather than an actual concealer. I have dry skin and am used to wearing only a dot of medium coverage foundation at most, or just concealer under my eyes alone, so I definitely won't fault it for looking very heavy, but the color pigment looks very mottled to the point it looks like little yellow dots with gaps in between so uneven from far away.
The undertones aren't as inclusive as the foundation and expected to find my undertone (50CG) which I did not sadly, but had hope that even if the undertone is a little off I can make it work like I have done for all my concealers up to now. I think this is definitely a formula that isn't the best for every make up wearer - certainty could be good for people who go for high coverage base and/ or very heavy makeup, but I guess it's a bit of misleading marketing since this feels like it's much more niche rather than a truly all skin type formula texture and payoff.
😂 my life came crashing with the start of summer also! I'm using my Halloween wine glass and pillows to make me feel better too. I thought i was the only weirdo who did that. ❤

I love this concealer. The brush will not be used. And it really does remind me of Tarte shape tape (my fave). I have dry skin!

I’m brand new to your fabulous channel and your twin brothers too, (because you are different people 😆).. can I ask - do you have a video(s) where you feature your favourite products that you swear by, such as foundation, concealer etc. I have shockingly oily skin and finding products is a nightmare. Most other creators have normal or dry skin so their recommendations are never useful. Thank you!

I’m so late catching up on my Welsh videos!! 😮. But I wanted to say about this - It Cosmetics came out with a concealer in this similar packaging a while back and their brush is quite nice and formula not dry at all but not too juicy either. I just have sanitary concerns for these built-in brushes 🦠

So I've been testing this trick of p utting eye primer under my eyes before a concealer to see if that helps with creasing. By Jove, I think it's been helping!!

I know this is not really on the topic of the concealer, but it’s more about the eye primer from Sigma (I bought it on your recommendation to use with the Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow palette).

I bought two shades on the UD website because Naked Concealer is my holy grail. I am SO sad they discontinued my favorite concealer but I had high hopes for this. The shades done match the Naked and it looked and wore horribly. The brush is useless. I returned both while praying they bring back Naked. I wish I had bought a bunch before they started discontinuing it but I was able to grab a few as they were phasing out. UD please get rid of this and bring back Naked!

I bought this and tried it out, because I heard good reviews. I have oily skin and I hate it, looked dry and cakey on me. I also think its just too much coverage, it looked like a mask on me and that was just from spot concealing. Nothing beats my rare beauty concealer!

Tarte ultra creamy concealer
I use this for my hyperpigmentation. I stillllllll need to touch up with my nars soft matte concealer aswell. Sooooo if anyone has a recommendations of a concealer that I only need one for some full full coverage would be so appreciated❤🤗
