Good day to celebrate! During the break I decluttered from 15 bedroom dresser drawers down to 9. My goal is to get down to 6 drawers and then I will reward myself with buying a new dresser. Trying to make my bedroom less crowded with furniture. Also decluttered kitchen drawers. Got rid of a lot of baking stuff and repurposed one whole drawer for candles and one whole drawer for batteries and battery operated items from fairy lights to flashlights. Winter pantry is being used up and looking forward to putting food processor and crock pot back into the cupboard. Looking forward to that FEELS SO GOOD. Can't wait to declutter more.

Been decluttering one a day or more, even if small as a clothespin!!! LOVE THE SAYING ON THE TEE RE. INTROVERTS😉😊🤗2 new things since we last visited:
1. I have learned how to fold "kon mari" so now our drawers look like yours
2. Huge snow storm hit here with record low temps of -20celsius..cold snap last a week and began on Valentine's!!

Wednesday : Had the don’t wannas but made myself be a grownup! We are having a brief warm up that allows us to do a quick winter clean up before snows come in again. We are working on our dining chairs finish and new cushion seats. ( one a day, we have eight) Also brightening up the closets by refinishing the oak clothing rods. We are down to the bone with decluttering( except Alan’s too many books)and I just do the ATAD minimum maintenance. We love our LED candles , tapers and pillars set on the timers. The roses will need cutting back soon perhaps tomorrow? Thursday: Not even a bent paper clip in my house! Cleaned the windows and tracks in the dining area. Making a spring swag for the front door with branches, a bit of moss and some light green mesh ribbon. No cost with what I had on hand. No need to go out.

Oh Diane it is so good to see you again. I want to tell you I strayed away from shining my sink last night thinking I would just do it in the morning. Well, low and behold we had a very blustery night in southern Maine and we lost power. What an energy drain to see the dishes in the sink with no power and therefore no water. Luckily had bottled water to boil for coffee and to wash up. Thank you Diane for all you do to make our lives better and happier:)

Yes, power back on and sink was shiny last night before I went to bed. The journey is progress not perfection I say, little celebrations each day making life a little easier and happier:) Joy in the little things!

I am on a roll with the decluttering! We are working by category. Yesterday I started with blankets and linens. We will donate the items we don’t need to our son who has a doggie daycare and/or the animal shelter. When I finish decluttering and organizing what remains in our linen closet, our next category will be camping equipment. We plan to donate the good camping items we no longer use to our local Cub Scout pack.

Yay! So glad you're back, but glad you got a little break. 😍 I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel and have been watching your various videos to catch up. You are such an inspiration! I am working at the Flylady zones and doing some decluttering at the same time. Last week was master bedroom and en suite bath. My huge closet is off the bath, and I organized and declutter! I feel so relieved! I would post a photo, but dont know how to do it here or where else I could let you all see it.
This week is entryways. One of ours comes from our deck into dining room and the pantry is in there. So I am going to "bite the bullet" and start decluttering and organizing it! Wish me luck, and stamina! Lol

Diane I found you on RUclips a couple of years ago, when I had made a huge mistake by trying to declutter the whole house in one go , then a new grandson arrived, so now about to try again but the only routine I've managed all through this to make the beds straight away, it's hard starting again but you have inspired every time I think give up .So thank you

Dear Diane, so good to see you back. My husband and I used the lockdown to declutter the basement and our wardrobe. Especially decluttering the wardrobe is so helpful because we can see much better what we have. Great dog! Friends of ours just got a dog as well a very sweet golden retriever (does one say this in English????). Have a wonderful day.

So glad your back and I hope you had a restful break (I’m still in awe of your winter bathing 😳🥶). Growing up we always cleaned house on Sunday mornings. This set our home up for the week. I have continued this tradition and it’s when I do my weekly home blessing hour. Weekdays are then cleared for 15 minute zone cleaning, along with daily routines. I moved last October and took a break from unpacking boxes in February but my March goal is to be totally unpacked by the end of the month. I will do one box every weekday so it does not feel so overwhelming. I can’t believe how much I am still decluttering even after the move. One tip I have to share is that as part of my weekly blessing hour, I take antiseptic cleaning wipes and clean all the door knobs and light switches throughout the house. This is even more important now due to COVID-19 and is sometimes overlooked when cleaning (outside of zone cleaning).

Hi, Diane, welcome back, motivator! Well, sigh, I’m sure I’ll find in each and every zone enough to declutter. The 15 minutes are my savior... and the zones, too. I remember reading the flylady book the first time, where she describes going from room to room, doing this and that on the way to something she was looking for... forgetting her goal totally. I laughed and cried at the same time. And there’s another one for me: prepare the clothes for the next day. I stopped that, after I retired, because ‚I have the time to do that in the morning', haha... Lovely to see wonderful Kopenhagen and Denmark, so far we're not allowed to come, but hopefully soon.
