Caribbeans call taro malanga. It's typically served as a chunky mash. Taro is absolutely delicious.
When I make this I sometimes substitute the taro with pan fried bananas, I definitely record if you don’t have taro, it’s so good!
Good idea to do both taro n banana ! Can I air fried the bananas instead? To make it crisper ?

I like all the tapioca pudds; I have always loved it, unlike most Gen Xers I knew growing up. I will try this one soon, because coconut and tapioca is a match made in heaven. TFP!

I made this but used coconut condensed milk to make sweets for delicious 😋 also don’t need to work so hard cook tapioca in pressure cook 1 minutes for one cup tapioca and taro cook just like potatoes not long 🤔 delicious 😋

I know they're very different, but could you sub japanese sweet potato for the taro if you're unable to find that?
