Unless I'm misremembering, the biggest features I liked in Agent Under Fire that Nightfire didn't have (for whatever reason) were the extra objectives and rewards for each level that let you unlock cool stuff like the golden guns and better gadgets.
For the most part, it was upgrades to the golden gun that eventually make it super OP, but you can also get stuff for the multiplayer, like playable characters and whatnot. I played the hell out of this as a kid, so I remember unlocking everything was super tough at points.
@@Tony6Shot the golden gun in agent under fire was so op even in 00 agent difficulty...then again I remember beating the game on 00 agent difficulty before getting the golden gun and it's easy regardless of difficulty
About the difficulty thing, you would probably like to play the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, if you increase the difficulty the game increases the gun damage for everyone. So while you kill easier you get killed easier too, it's a fun thing because it makes earlier game easier and late game harder
I was silently screaming at the video in the first room of Cold Reception. I wanted you to play the 007 theme song on the piano. Love all of your Bond content.
the From Russia With Love demo in the Most Wanted extras was awesome, i plaied the shit out of it once i found out it was a thing, its the hotel mission...
I remember intentionally doing the first level as badly as possible to not get the golden gun. It's underwhelming, and you switch to it when you run out of ammo on anything else.
you can turn off "gold rewards" in the settings lol.also the gold gun is great when you put the suppressor on it and headshot. you can get through most of cold reception without having any bullets fired at you
Well you officially made it further than I could as a child. I could never get past the tank mission. I would usually miss the Q-boost and lose all but one of my lives then die after the goggles died in the tank mission.
Just watched the first agent under fire video and now there's a second? Nifty! I had the GameCube version as a kid and had a blast with it. Little me was baffled by the different ways you can go about some missions.
I’m an American in the comments section telling you shotgun being ineffective against a guy wearing body armor is actually reasonably realistic. You need speed and hardness to beat armor, and shot has neither since it's relatively slow and made of soft lead (or relatively soft steel). As for Fire and Water, there’s a ridiculously hidden (took 20 years to find) weapon cache at the start. Jump onto one of the crank wheels just to your left as you start using the explosive barrels, aim at the top of the tank and press use.
That reminds me of the Challenges in Perfect Dark. The strategy guide basically tells you how to glitch and cheese the AI, because that's pretty much the only way to beat them
I remember playing this game on a portable DVD player in the family dodge caravan, with the PS2 hooked up to it on the way to nova scotia. Though I can't remember if the PS2 was plugged into a battery or the car...hmmm.... either way, it was rad.
I’m sad you didn’t play the bound theme on the piano in cold reception. Also in night of the jackal you can defeat the helicopter by sniping the pilot.
I remembered when I played this game as a kid, and I for the life of me couldn't get past the tank section. Even when I made it to the end I couldn't kill the tanks in time. Then like an epiphany I realized I was supposed to shoot the explosive carts, which for some reason never occured to me.
1:24 (puts on Bond nerd specs) In From Russia With Love, Bond and Tatiana go incognito on the Orient Express, under the name Somerset. Probably a reference to that 🤓🤓
American who can't stop himself here. Shotguns are rather accurate depending on the round or at least more accurate than games usually depict. Insurgency Sandstorm has pretty accurate to life shotguns for example.
I had this game on the gamecube and it was really cool that you could play multiplayer with bots. Years later, I bought the ps2 version and you can't play with bots. I was so disappointed. Still love the single player.
I wonder how long it takes till we get a "007 in Oblivion" Video.
With Dagoth Ur as his follower
I'd so watch that
"007 in oblivion but it's morrowind"
I need it now.

What? You mean when you did that really embarrassing thing that we all totally still remember and laugh about today?
This is legitimately funny. I've actually laughed out loud like 4 times during this video. Keep it up ya Irish Spring 2 in 1 body wash fan!
2 in 1 is for peasants. It's all about the 3 in 1.
Europeans reading that like 4 times before realising you're talking about soap...

For me, I was the multiplayer. Playing with detonator mines in splitscreen was one of the most satisfying things ever
Nightfire had that feature too.
@@DavidEmil_ but the game is really hard to win them
That comment about Mr. Somerset being on fifa '08 was weirdly specific but incredibly spot on 👌
I got this game Christmas 2003, this is beautiful.

Not really, if you actually upgrade your weapons and armour
Accuracy problems in the first game aside I do be agreeing
Denton, stay out of the ladies restroom!
Wait, wrong game.
As an American I can tell you that shotguns have more range the more you pump them up.
Q remote and Q Decrypter are like USB sticks only instead of trying both sides to see which is right you swap between the two
I love how the Q Vision Goggles TM actually make everything _less_ visible and _way_ darker

This series is pure nostalgia. So many memories unlocked
I love the detail in the helicopter fight
You can use the sniper rifle to see and shoot the pilot for a one-hit kill
I remember intentionally doing the first level as badly as possible to not get the golden gun.

Every time I'm reminded it's not John Cleese in this game I get sad
In this video: Irish man still looking for body armor
Very comedic ad timing. The only time I appreciate an ad, not on the ads part.
James is grateful his agency doesn't have a HR department
Remember when Micky D committed multiple war crimes in a tank? Pepperidge farm remembers.
I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took a tree to the chest.

AHCKTUALLY... *proceeds to explain each gun type in detail*
8:50 As a Bond-sexual, I can confirm this.
This brings back memories. This was the first game I ever played on my old Xbox.
Love watching this
When I was 12, I wrote a cringey step by step guide on each mission. This brought me back!

the spinal tap reference 😭
Bonds prehensile tackle was a major feature of the books that never really found it's place in the films
Your retro game vids is why I check my youtube subscriptions when I should be working 😙👌
00yemen: everything under fire
"We all die eventually..."
Micky D, Optimist.
really cracks me up when bond speaks during the mission to try and tell you what to do
You’re absolutely adorable when you get your 007 moment at the beginning! :D
Micky saying he played this game when he was eight. Me remembering I played goldeneye n64 when it came out when I was ten. Me realizing I'm old now 🙃
During the briefing it was like the Bond moment music played every time something "Shocking" was revealed about the target.
French fan of The Corrs right here. You just reminded me I haven't had a Corrs phase in a long while, thanks buddy !
This is the most Bond has ever resembled Sterling Archer
♪ How much is that shot-gun in the win-dow ♫
I remember Agent under fire. Me and my younger brother used to play this a lot as a kid.
After discovering this gem of a channel I have discovered the following about mself:
I've had the same childhood as a Scottish Lad (American 28M).
genious Micky D, genious. Your style make me think about Sparckman
The tree joke got me 😆
You could snipe the helicopter pilot at the end. You can do it again on the oil rig level coming up also pretty cool they let you do that.
Funnily enough, I have completely forgotten all those embarrassing things I did in my childhood
I swear to Christ, the MickyD screen wipe laugh bit happened and I got an ad IMMEDIATELY after saying “no free squeegee”.
I remember as a kid playing together 2 or 3 of us and one max level ai and that ai was so godly it would just destroy us the whole match
