I still grieve Chester's passing everyday. Not a day goes by that I dont think about him because my life revolves heavily around music. Not just Linkin Park music, but just music in general. I will always, ALWAYS hear a Linkin Park song at least once a day and I'm immediately transported to the day that I had to pull over to the side of the road, with my two children in the backseat, so I could process what I was hearing of his passing on the radio. That whole year was a horrible fog for me.

Anna, thank you so much for this. This has really helped me finally deal with the grief of my mother, nearly two years later. You are an amazing person. Very loving. Sunshine on a rainy day. Thank you for being you.

This is really good and helpfull...as someone who has lost a very close relative a few years ago, we need to talk about these things or maybe just listen to it...the grieving process, what it means to us, how we keep going...thanks a lot!!!By the way, the poem "Lavender" is simply beautiful

I was a hospice nurse for years and well trained nad experienced. My onw losses aren't a bite average though in most ways. It's so hard. My ad shot himself when i was a child as well. That is extra complicated. The stigma followed me as well all of my life. I have been judged too. The social stigma around his death madeu it so many times more complicated a grief. I am still learning. If I can I will Kass on what I learn for 8thers. Its the worst.

It's like everybody knew it could happen but hoped it wouldn't.... and then it did.
    Probably Chester himself too.

He has had multiple suicide attempts in the past, and openly talked about having suicidal thoughts, so everyone knew he was struggling.
The thing that really helped me settle the dissonance of them knowing but then saying they didn't expect it is hearing someone (I think it was his wife, but I'm not sure) say in one of the 320 changes direction events that there were a lot of times they were worried about Chester, a lot of times they thought he might do it, but that was a time they didn't think it would happen because they thought he was getting better.

Dear God💗❤️💗❤️💕❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.
Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.

After my son’s suicide Empath Hospice in Pinellas Co. Had a grief group, that met once per week. And 8 or 9 women attended, plus a hospice counselor. Evidently the counselor was way way burnt out, and shouldn’t have been a part of the group as a facilitator. She actually had the cold-hearted gall to ridicule the attendees, this was the 2nd & last mtg for me. She told the attendees, who’d all lost a child that they were attention seekers, that was our problem.. oh, yeah, I also worked at Empath.

Sentiment is important to recover from loss. BUT, I'm betting Chester would so want the one to speak his voice, to propel Linkin Park to horizons people so crave. So, why would you "let the balloon go" when it is so important to empower the people.... Linkin Park, the greatest band ever...... I dont believe anything has to be shut down! There is NO limit to know the power of Linkin Park.

The Gospel of salvation of our souls: 💜💕❤️❤️💕❤️💗💗💕💕❤️📖✝️🕎💡💡❤️❤️💞💜💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
