- Hello everyone! Here's my updated packaging video! It's been roughly 6 months since I posted my last "how to package your online orders" video so I thought it was about time for a little update! Today I go a little more in depth about the process as well as how i've organized my office to be the most efficient! Hi. Is it okay to cover shipping label barcode with the clear plastic covering? Will the barcode still be able to be scanned?

hi Nathalie ! your packaging video make inspire me for my new clothing shop. I wanna ask you, what the name of plastic you used to wrap postcard ?
How do you organize orders before you even package them. Like for example I make my own clothing designs and I’ll get orders and will put aside the shirts needed for that order and then I’ll get more so on so forth. I’m looking for something to be able to label that stack of clothing for whoever’s order that is to know from the next order that I put in a bin till I make it.

Hi Nathb! A question that I have not noticed anyone asking in this video or in your previous eco friendly packaging video is if you've ever had any comments from your customers about the kraft mailer arriving with a hole or rip? Has there ever been an instance of water damage to the kraft mailer in your experience with your customers? I think its smart to use plastic inside as a back up so I highly doubt any of your actual merchandise would ever arrive damaged upon arrival to your customers. (did i say that right? i hope it doesnt come off the wrong way. im sure you're professional and would handle any bad experiences with care and professionalism so not tryna make you sound bad). But I was just wondering if you have gotten any feedback from your customers specifically with how the kraft mailers hold up. Or perhaps have you ever reached out and asked? There's so many videos on youtube about people getting samples of it to try out but you're the first one I've been able to find that actually actively uses them. Also, most of the review videos of people that actively use them, use them for their stickers and art, whereas you're the first garment business i've seen that uses them. There's also the very short videos from ecoenclose showing wear and water tests but its from the company so of course theyre not gonna share if any damage occurs. Hi @Nathb, I have a few questions. The first one is, Where do you get you personalise your stickers from? The second question is, Can you please link all the things you need to deliver your completed parcel? Like the sticky things you apply the code on the parcel bag and so on? Such an awesome video! I launched my website and am a bit nervous on the shipping process. Do you go into DHL and manually create each label for each shipment? Or is there a way it integrates with Shopify? Also, would you mind sharing what program you used to create your invoices? :)
Hi! no I print my labels from my house through my DHL account online, then request a pickup and they come pick the package up from my home! Then I just input the tracking in shopify and manually fulfill it. I use a plug-in from shopify for my invoices :)

I want to order those Kraft polymailers because I love the minimal aesthetic. What do you do if someone orders like 5 pieces of clothing in one order? Does it all fit there for golden waters packaging?
Hey! So I simply just haven’t run into that problem yet, I’m going to order some larger envelopes and some boxes as well just in case I do end up getting a larger order.. but a lot of my pieces are on the pricier side so I haven’t had that happen yet! :)

Hey what’ size are both of the polymailer you use ? And the size of the stickers I love this packaging
all info is in the description. the poly mailers however are from garmentory, they send me what sizes they have.

Those are from Garmentory! They’re a platform that help small boutiques sell to a larger platform and they supply you with their branding when people buy through they’re site :)

hi! just linked them in the description! But keep in mind the size more than ay6thing will vary for everyone depending on what you're shipping! I would suggest with just going with the budled sizes they have cheaper on uline

Hi! Is it cheaper to send those kind of "kraft envelopes" than in a box?
Than a box yes! It’s whatever is taking up the least room possible, and since clothing is soft and can fit nice a tightly into a package like this it end up being cheaper, and a lot of wasted space would be leftover in a box as well

Hi! Most brands will have a wholesale email that you can contact them.. it’s usually available on their website if you do a bit of searching :)!

So you could technically sell these items for whatever price you want.. they do give you a suggested retail price and it’s just kinda smart to list them at that price since they are so readily available online. The return is low yes, especially once you factor in shipping, packaging, duties, etc.. but it’s all about selling more units!

Why you use tow kinds of packaging?
The black packaging is from Garmentory, it’s a third party seller I use to help sell my clothing. The brown paper is my own packaging :)

Why dont you just buy sticky paper to print the labels on? And just cut them out. You will have a smaller labels, and you dont need to cover anything on the polybag!
Hi, thank for watching my video:)! So for the ones I attach to the Polly bags they’re usually international shipments so they require multiple pages to ship (customs info, shipping labels, etc..) and then the ones I attach to my own Kraft mailers I used to have Kraft sticky labels but my new printer doesn’t print properly on them unfortunately, so I’ve been just printing on regular paper in the meantime!
