    Really good shirts and he will make anything even from photos you have.

    Sunrise tacos in T21 and margarita storm at the sukhumvit rd/soi 13 corner are the same owner. I’ve spoken to him in margarita storm and he seems like a great guy , well known for his charity work in Bangkok from what I’ve heard. Probably more importantly for viewers the food is very good and I recommend the balcony at margarita storm for good people watching , upstairs for a more chill upmarket experience with pool table and bar.

    I stayed at the Centerpoint Sukumvit 10 hotel for 3 weeks back in March… I chose it because of its easy access to Benchakiti park… Hotel was a little dated but still very good and reasonably priced… I’m a runner and ran in the park almost everyday… Going to stay at the Holiday Inn on Sukumvit this time… It’s close to Benchasiri park which I learned through watching your videos is another great park to run in and closer to the Phrom Prong area, where I hope to find a good condo to settle in for a longer stay in the heart of BKK… 🤓

    I love Soi 10.. Thought about living there but didn’t want to be that close to the Asok craziness, plus the condos on Soi 10 are a little pricey.. Did traverse Soi 10 just last week though on the way to Benchikkiti Park , i was able to cross the sketchy temporary bridge to get to the dog park.. was around 10 or 11am on a weekday, so maybe it depends on the timing when you go.. One place i saw that has great reviews on Soi 10 is the Abandoned Mansion restaurant/bar, looks to be a really neat place im planning to check out in the near future .

    all severs should be left a tip if they bring you a drink/etc.....unless you go to the bar and pick up your own...then can leave the bar-keeper a slight tip

    • @EagerExpat
      @EagerExpat  4 месяца назад +1

      I have no problem leaving at least a small tip. I'm fortunate to live in SE Asia with a US pension/savings. My spending dollar goes a very long way. I can pay it forward a little.
      Not some silly, tell the guy behind me I paid for his $7 coffee. $7 would pay your server in Bangkok's bus fare for a month.

    They are all Centre Points, haha. Plenty of them in Thailand. The terminal one is "Grande Centre Point" and is a 5-star hotel. You have another Grande on soi 55. The one in Soi 10 is a normal Centre point, a 4-star hotel (and very nice, I might add) and you have another one in Silom. There is a Grande Centre Point that also have a Terminal 21 mall in Pattaya, If I remember correctly but I've never been there.

Since I am a tourist I am always checking for the best hotels and prices, and for some reason I've been staying in several Centre Points over the years. When I missed our meetup, a few weeks back at O´sheas I was staying at Centre Point at Terminal 21 for the first time. We had a great view at floor 31. Great hotel and the location is of course perfect.

      Grande centre point T21 is my go to 5 star hotel in Bangkok. Cheaper than Sofitel or Hyatt Regency but great rooms with kitchens and washing machines. Also really nice pool area and gym + direct access to bts and T21 shopping mall without having to go outside. Room service food is good and very reasonably priced compared to hotels in any western country.
