If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
Thank You for the tour! One thing that I've noticed in all Your walks is that the streets are all clean! I....or We were there a bit many years ago but stationed in the P.I....truly heaven....its all good
Yes, Thailand is pretty clean. It's still a city of 16 million, so you'll see rats peaking out of the sewer. That's in any big city. The only problem with Bangkok is they are slow to move past the old school way of picking up garbage. You'll see 10% of those large garbage bins and 90% of the garbage bagged up next to the sidewalk for pick up each night. Don't walk next to the bags or a few large rats might run by. Again, no big deal. The place is really taken care of and kept clean
Centre Pointe Soi 10 and Galleria 10 are good value four star hotels. Good deals on Agoda. Chan and Yupa tearoom/restaurant has a nice brunch offering. For about 400 baht you can get huge omelette or French toast with bacon and sausage and large specialty coffee or tea. Nice garden ambience. Keep up the good work. These videos are well done.
Hey Joe. Another great video. My wife and I will be there soon and we’d love to buy you a beer or two to say thanks for all your great content in and around our favorite part of BKK. Is there a way I can DM you?
Thanks Christopher. I'm on the road for a little while. Bali dive trip tonight, then maybe Jakarta. I'm not sure how to DM here. Just send me a comment on any video when you're in town. I'll be back after New Years
@@EagerExpathey Joe. Just checking if you’ve been receiving my comments? They seem to be disappearing. Lmk! Love to meet up for a beer or two. Cheers! Chris
@@Christopher_Deacon Hey Christopher. I had to switch to approve all comments. Bots were leaving crazy ad messages. Sometimes I don't see them for a few hours. Also when you comment on an existing comment, there's a RUclips glitch. I might not get a notification you left a comment. Sure man, I'm hurting today. New Years went till 5am this year. Just leave a fresh comment on any video and I answer right when I see it. Which part of town are you two staying? I might take tonight off, but I'm always up for a beer.
In My days in the Philippines it was very advantageous to have a 'steady ' girlfriend that was a buffer between Foreign and local.....just give a few bucks and all is good.....

Thanks for the info. Soi 10 has some nice choices. I appreciate the comment. More videos on the way.
Another hidden gem 😊Well I never knew... how far down Soi 10 is the park?
Hey Andy. Soi 10 isn't that long. Maybe a half a mile from Sukhumvit to the park
Looks like a nice area!
It's a nice area. Thanks for watching

Ya it's the same in Thailand. I get a better deal when I'm with a Thai girlfriend. Taxi's seem to turn on the meter, etc.. Still, it's not too bad
