I was there Front Row in front of Alex, saw the 1st show in Tulsa May 8th, stage presence & musicianship doesn't get any better than this in my opinion! 69 shows since 1975.
That's cool, I never saw RUSh in LA, but I saw them over 30x in NY/NJ/Conn. Radio City Music Hall was my favorite. 7th row center. But any seat in Radio City Music Hall is good.
Ed Jankovsky They're not doing another big tour like this one. They've stressed the fact that R40 was NOT their farewell tour, they're just going to scale it back a lot. Residencies are probably in the future for them and maybe like 10 shows per year at select cities(NYC, Toronto) I just read an interview where Alex there's a good chance he and Geddy will get together in the fall and start jamming together, hopefully leading to some new material!
I can't express how annoyed I am at myself for not going to R40, but I can't blame myself, I was only just getting into Rush at that point and I thought "I really don't know that many songs, and the seats aren't gonna be very good." Seeing them play live just once would make me happy beyond belief....I could care less about another large scale tour, scaling it back is fine and completely understood. I just wanna see them once live sometime in the future.
Thanks so much for posting the video. Seeing them August 1st at the Forum in Los Angeles on last night of the tour. Rush has so much class and style. Their talent level is once in a lifetime and they were so ahead of their time..... 2112-damn!! What a masterpiece!!!!! Thanks to Geddy, Alex and Neil for providing such creative music style for the masses
I was so hammered during this show lmao. Drinks were expensive but me and my dad had been pregaming at the mgm pool and had some pot gummies as well. Such a fun night ill never forget thanks for this. So I can remember it a little better lmao. Good thing we saw them again the night after in Phoenix for the final time. RIP Dad and RIP Neil.
Thank you for posting this. This tour was the only one I missed from A Farewell to Kings to Clockwork Angels. Unfortunately, I was spending time in service of the state.
Awesome Camera Work!!!!! My Flat Screen went out & my new one doesn't get here for 2 more days. So I've been trolling RUclips looking for the Perfect Concert & I found it!! Thanx So Much For All your hard work & for posting it,I missed them when they came to Concord this tour, but this Video makes me feel like I made up for it!! You truly took me there! I'm a lil upset that they totally skipped the 'Presto' Album, that's the tour where I met my wife,so those songs are a lil special to me. But nothing nonetheless, they kicked Vegas' ASS!!!! Thanx Again For this Awesome Show of Fandom. I wish nothing but the best for you. Cheers.
I first saw Rush open for Blue Oyster Cult, I think 2112 was the record. I saw them continuously through Roll The Bones, then I lost track. Rush is the soundtrack to a huge part of my life. So seeing this tour in Tampa FL this year brought back a lot of great memories. I hope an official blue ray of this show is released.
I was at this amazing Rush concert. I saw them in Dallas, Texas on the 6th show of this tour and flew to Las Vegas to see this show. It turns out that this is/was the 4th to the last show that Rush will have ever performed. LONG LIVE RUSH!!! GEDDY, ALEX AND NEIL!!!
Believe it or not, and I don't know why but I do enjoy watching this beautiful footage even more than watching the Clockwork Angels Live DVD, it has I think the real thing, just as if you were there, thanks for the upload buddy, perfect job !
Alex had one of his more animated shows of the tour here. I'm happy to see that as I have noticed he's really struggled at some points in the tour given his health issues. I believe much later down the road, we will learn he had some real issues relating to his arthritis..
Saw them in their home town of Toronto on the R40 tour. Being from St. Catharines when they played Lakeside Park I creamed my jeans. Been to Lakeside Park countless times in my youth growing up in the north end of St. Kitts. Buddy of mine grew up two doors down from Neil in Port Dalhousie. Neil went to Lakeport High School. I went to Simcoe. Oh well, Greatest rock band on the planet.
1982 - Long Beach Arena (w/Golden Earring opening), about the same seat area as this guy … my first concert (13 yrs old) Rush, Signals tour. Where the **F** did it all GO?? 😣
I love the girl that raises her beer in the air after every song, and there's slightly less beer in it every time she raises it... and then it's full again after the intermission
The Flaming Taco Neil also suffers from chronic tendonitis: www.examiner.com/article/rush-drummer-neil-peart-s-chronic-tendonitis-a-factor-retirement-plans
Looks like Alex has finally gotten tired of the huge bald spot and is covering it up with a rug. Geddy's diminished range is really apparent in Distant Early Warning. Age be damned though, would love to see them, this is probably one of their best set lists as far as incorporating my personal favs. Do we know if they plan on releasing this tour on DVD/Blu? I hope so. Given they have released all of their previous 5 tours on disk, surely we will get this one too on disk.
+LudwigSC93 Neil used 2 setups. His modern setup for the first shows set and break and then they went retro songs and the old drum setup.,and a 70s drum setup he made up from a log dredged up that is supposedly over 10,000 years old. The drum manufacturer found this wood and Neil heard a prototype drum from this wood and wanted a setup made from that log.
What was up with the amps??? Alex started out with 15 Marshall cabinets and 5 heads and then they gradually took them off stage. Same for Geddy's amps...?
+Jeff Howerton Regression backwards thru the years showing the equipment they were using at the time the songs were released. It got a little distracting with the roadies tearing down the stage props all through the concert...
Proving once again that the MGM Grand Garden is the shittiest sounding music venue in the country. It takes talent on the level of Rush to even make it passable.
I can't listen to Hemispheres toned down. I just can't. Rush's musicianship is awesome; just get a young, female singer for the classic stuff. I won't mind; I promise! : -)

So was I and I was also front row center at the very last show in LA had VIP tickets to so I was able to go back stage best night of my life
That's cool, I never saw RUSh in LA, but I saw them over 30x in NY/NJ/Conn. Radio City Music Hall was my favorite. 7th row center. But any seat in Radio City Music Hall is good.
Coming from Brazil to Las Vegas to watch Rush for the first time was amazing. That was worth to see.
The show was fantastic, perfect.
Muito bom
What a great show. It was my first time seeing them in concert and I had a smile from ear to ear for most of the show. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for this ! I was on the floor and didn't see half of visuals. Great fun! Cheers Rush! Gonna miss you !
***** They're also not doing another tour.

zachw2010 They should get a residency at Caesar's Palace lol

Thank you 🙂👍🏻❤
Great post! In every way! Thanks!
That Spirit of the Radio solo was incredible.
Damn you're right, that was like spot on
Awesome first time i've seen them live since 1977 in Bristol UK just after 2112 was released.
Thanks.It was a great show.
Shannon Biggers loved it.
My cousin and her husband won front row seats ,accommodations, air fare plus meet and greet for this show from a radio station contest.

Wow, thank you SO MUCH!! We got to see the Portland show, two dates back I think. What an incredible musical experience.

Such an amazing band still after all these years! Thx

+trevizons Thanks, man :)
This was my first Rush concert!
+Mini Mario Bros congrats! i first saw them in '78...
Mine too
This was my second after Clockwork Angels Tour, and this was unquestionably better.
+troy wilson My dad's first show was Signals, while my first show was on the Snakes and Arrows Tour, when I was 4 xD
Alex had one of his more animated shows of the tour here. I'm happy to see that as I have noticed he's really struggled at some points in the tour given his health issues. I believe much later down the road, we will learn he had some real issues relating to his arthritis..
Love it, saw them at MGM in-case it is the last tour. Have seen them 3 times, all good shows.
Still awesome after 40+ years
Amazing how great this sounds.
Geddy with a P-bass- AND it sounds GREAT!!
Saw the show in Portland a few days earlier. God I miss seeing these guys live.
Saw them in their home town of Toronto on the R40 tour. Being from St. Catharines when they played Lakeside Park I creamed my jeans. I was there. Awesome sauce. Geddy broke out all the basses for this one.
Thank you

I'm on Jacob's Ladder now, holy mother of god , now where talking!
Fantástic
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👊👊👊👏👏👏
This is Music
can't believe i missed rush in rock vegas!!!!
They didn't play "Losing it" for you? It was so special. They played it in LA
I was their!
Pure Canadian M.A.P.L.E. RUSH
STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!
TheSquonk2112 man, this was a great show from my all time favorite band. They killed it.
RTMorasonMD2 i sent you a message via youtube...hope you got it ....you're the man!!!
I was a little bit above this very view and streamed a lot of the show on Periscope
the show in calgary started set 2 with subdivisions.
Alex sounds great with those Marshalls!
I saw them in the city on June 29 2015 first concert I have ever been to I am 12 love rush but led zepplin is probaly my favorite band
I was there!!!!!!
Saw them in Austin. My only regret was not getting closer seats.
Kinda wish I attended this show. Alas, I was on vacation in a different country at the time so I couldn't attend. Ah well, maybe next time.
Nettacki There might not be a next time
Brian Babcock I'm aware. Health issues and the like, right?
Nettacki Mostly Neil's young child.
The Flaming Taco Neil also suffers from chronic tendonitis:
www.examiner.com/article/rush-drummer-neil-peart-s-chronic-tendonitis-a-factor-retirement-plans
+Nettacki and Alex has arthritis.
I missed half the set that night :( so disappointing , wish I could relieve that day
wwoowww I WAS THERE :)
EXTRAORDINARIOS,SEM PALAVRAS,NOTA 1.0000
I was there.
We got Spirit of Radio, Natural Science, AND Jacobs Ladder in Chicago. Weird that they didnt do natural science here
On Distant Early Warning, what kind of bass is Geddy playing here? It looks like a silver Les Paul bass. Stunning! @56:28
thank you 123
I do not think this is their last tour....they are at the top of their game....
OMG
"fu**ing puppet!"
What section were you in? Looks similar to my view in 105, Row HH.

Great vid. Why is it that some of their shows have Neil using a replica of his pre-Roll the bones setup and others are his current setup?
+LudwigSC93 Neil switches kits to the older, double-bass, Slingerland-like kit in the 2nd set on this tour. It was a huge part of the 'rewind' theme..
Jason Caster ah that explains it. :)
+LudwigSC93 Neil used 2 setups. His modern setup for the first shows set and break and then they went retro songs and the old drum setup.,and a 70s drum setup he made up from a log dredged up that is supposedly over 10,000 years old. Dr. Elvis' answer is way better than mine, Ludwig! ;)
I plagiarized my answer off the Concert program. Give all credit to Neil Peart!!
What's the setlist for the Las Vegas show?
Mike Parzyck just posted it above ;). Great setlist :)
RTMorasonMD2 Same exact list as Salt Lake
maybe the sound quality not that great on recording but keys and pedals sound a little thin...
What was up with the amps??? Alex started out with 15 Marshall cabinets and 5 heads and then they gradually took them off stage. Same for Geddy's amps...?
+Jeff Howerton theyre just props
+Jeff Howerton Regression backwards thru the years showing the equipment they were using at the time the songs were released. It got a little distracting with the roadies tearing down the stage props all through the concert...
whats the 3rd song after fly by night ?
So we have to wait for R50?
I have bad news for you. 😬
They never play Limelight anymore.....
+VWGTI dude? they played it on every tour since they wrote it
they got other tunes you know?
Not this tour
+VWGTI It was the first song on their Snakes and Arrows tour.
It was on almost every tour up until this one... Clockwork Angels it was rotated.
Alex unfortunately can play it anymore. Same with freewill. Solos are too complex for his arthritis. He clearly struggled on the Time machine tour.
Proving once again that the MGM Grand Garden is the shittiest sounding music venue in the country. It takes talent on the level of Rush to even make it passable.
Neil played so effortlessly, looks almost bored heh
I can't listen to Hemispheres toned down. I just can't. Rush's musicianship is awesome; just get a young, female singer for the classic stuff. I won't mind; I promise! : -)
Most subdued RUSH audience I have ever seen, sad.
opening is GARBAGE
