So good to see Neil playing, going all out, full of life. It's how I'll always remember him.

My best friend in the whole wide world.. my brother from another mother took me to this concert. Once in a life time memory. Thanks for posting this as me and him left our wives and kids at home and went. Out of 5 prior Rush concerts I've attended, this was the best. I'll never forget this day. Universal Studios leveled the place and turned it into Harry Potter land.
So, Rush brought the real magic and Universal, the imaginary... Fitting, really.
Neil Peart is by far the BEST DRUMMER of all time.
1000%
So your exposure to great drummers is extremely small.
There are alot of great drummers, yes, however, whenever there's great fame in that drummer, that's the greatest.
YES!;!!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍!!!
Luv Neil
Neil Peart ,I will never get tired of watching you play . RIP.
Saw this tour, one of the best shows and best nights of my life as a music fan. These guys continued to challenge themselves all throughout their career and were never content to rest on their laurels.
How many girls was there in the crowd at the show? Lmao 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Eric-os9wg Must have been at least a few of 'em. 🙎♀👱♀😁😄
@@AMCmachine nice that's always refreshing at a rush concert lol
best drummer ever....!!!
Rush was a really great BAND and we all love there MUSIC so much Neil was the Best Drummer's in the world of all time .
That's Rock-N-Roll!!!!
I was lucky to see rush 10 times between 2002 and 2015. Rip neil peart. You're sorely missed.
I was there, one of the best memories I have. Thanks for bringing it back!
Excellent work at capturing this historic event, excellent sound, excellent show!
Always loved hearing 2112 live and also my favorite album and first concert in 1976 and the rest was history until 2015 😎
Thank you so much for this. The second leg of their Time machine Tour is when this writer feels their playing was at it's zenith.
The one thing I've always appreciated about Rush and one of the first things that struck me when I first heard ATWAS in 1976 was that they played everything like what their audience wanted - just like the album.

Saw this show. Presto was incredible.
Great job, by the way!! The fact that this was just another show and it was this good, just shows you the level of this band. They play this stuff in their sixties like they were in their twenties, they never lost it. I'm glad they quit when they did, their legacy is secure forever.
Clearly Neil Peart is an awesome Drummer, one of the Best. He's also one if the Best Songwriters. I think Neil is one of the Great Thinkers of our time.
Wow you guys killed this excellent recording audio is brilliant great job. THANK YOU
Hey, I was at that show Thanks for posting.
Rush!!! Budy's loved and helped Rush bud through what they could for their buddies' health issues!!! Really loving of them!!! That's love and care!
I saw this tour in Boston. The famous "Still no Guitar" show. Geddy's voice is a little shot here, but still a strong show by the boys.
Best band. Ever.
I THANK YOU FOR THE CAPTURE OF THIS GREAT FILM...MISS THESE GUYS!!! all we have are the albums, and, for the hard-core aficionados, quite possibly, these boots!!
Alex is so underrated. Neil’s drums are made from tress dug up from rivers as old as a thousand years possibly. Their sound is incredibly pure. And Geddy is just one of the few best bassists. Best band ever.
Thanks for posting this. I love Rush even more because this music is pure, honest and breathes life.
I like your solos
Thank you for the video.. Big appreciation for your effort !
I was there in 2nd row in Greensboro 2011.
2nd of 4 shows i have seen. Some of the best talent of all, yes, there are all particular kinds. Drummed to mostly Rush since 1989.
RIP sir.
What humor Rush has with little renditions of their songs in various styles! Always riveting to watch Rush perform. Thinking Man’s Music as it were. A true gem of a video. Lots of courage in filming. Thanks for the video. We will always treasure any Rush show. Best live show in music. Neil will be greatly missed.
Ill toss my drumstick as high in the air as I can for him, maybe one day he'll catch it.
Despite Lee's totally shot vocals this was an amazing tour that covered their amazing landscape of music. The impact of Rush is as deep as any band in music history. RIP Neil Peart - rock n rolls best drummer/musician/lyricist ever and an even greater man.
Voice has been cracked for 2 decades... But who GAF!!!!!
You're either not a musician, or you're stuck in 1974, either way, his voice has ALWAYS remained stellar!
@@capo_di_capi Laughable, absolutely laughable 😂🤣😂
@@markanderson7284 ya, Matk. You are quite correct. Honestly, Geddy's vocals had sunk to such lows, that the band should have pulled the plug. Unless something could have been done. This is heartbreaking.
@@cheaptrickfanatic3496 We will be waiting for your 3 hour show soon I guess !! :)
Counterparts has been one of my favorite Albums. I wish I knew it better when I saw this tour. Always worked like this. 32 shows letter I never learned my lesson.
[Fun fact] - Aimie Mann of Til Tuesday, still has the distinction of singing her very important part on Time Stand Still, Rush's highest chart topping single in their entire career.
Correction, it was "New World Man", that was their only song that reached the Top 40, of course Moving Pictures Peaked at No 1 in Canada and no. 3 in the U.S. and U.K.
Please send love to my one of my best friend's who loved Rush more than me... :) this is the Rush my friend loved (RUSH !!!!!) thank you.
Rush Exelente banda !!!👍
This was incredible show.. Saw the tour 6 times
Hey I was actually at this exact show! Thanks again brother Joshie, love you!
I was at this show! Drove in from Vegas, watched the concert, then drove home.
I went to Time Machine Tour’s concert here in Brazil! Unforgettable!!!!
Santiago de chile presente....amazing show
Rush in Rio, probably the most Crazy concert I have ever seen, too bad it was only on DVD. But seeing a crowd of 60 000 chant along to YYZ was something that never happened before or after that show, AMAZING!
I went to the concert in São Paulo a day before Rush in Rio be recorded. First time of those guys here in Brazil. Amazing and unforgettable show too!
Man oh man, what a show!
Wow! Alex and Neil were on a different level this night. It took a few songs to get going but then the energy and precision is just incredible! Love how Alex is joking around and still ripping your face off with his guitar. Great video, it felt like I was there...
Thanks for posting! Great Rush show. Our then drummer Mark Savage was at this show.
Excellent my Rush brother!!
Thank you!! 🤘🤘🤘
This is a great recording. Thank you!
Wow, Alex nailed The Spirit of Radio solo
Lucky us
Thank you for sharing this vid. Just awesome!
Thank you for posting this!!
Geddy's voice is not what it used to be. From this tour on.
But I miss them. One of the greatest bands of all time. Geddy is my favorite bass player.
This might have been an off show for him. I was at Irvine and Syracuse and maybe San Diego for this tour. And the vocals were good.
The following year on the clockwork angels tour he had a bad cold at the Gibson show. I tried to go without tickets but was not successful, some people were commenting about it outside.
I saw the show in anaheim and San Diego, San Diego was right after the Gibson show and Geddy started out lethargic on subdivisions opener and Alex was prodding him on. He finally came to life after a bit. That cold fucked him up and People who were at the Gibson said that show was worse.
Maybe there is a curse on the Gibson.
Their final performance at the forum was spot on, a little better than the Irvine show.
The fact that this does not happen anymore and can't ever again still hurts me. And all of my footage over the years was stolen so I have nothing but memories.
And I had some personal unanswered questions I needed to ask Neil but was realistic enough not to try. In hindsight I regret that because in this case he might have been able to give me some answers as to something that he did 10 years ago that directly affected my life, a ghost rider outing to an event I was a part of.
@@k.h.1587 I would say you are correct. He is really struggling with the higher register here and this is more of an anomaly than the norm for him. Granted he has aged, but he has learned how to sing with the "new" instrument.
Those who play, play.
Those who cannot play become critics...
@@chrispix61 Isn't that the truth! Well said.
@@k.h.1587 the Time Machine DVD recorded in Cleveland 2011 sounded pretty bad too. Maybe they should've skipped the second leg, because I remember he sounded great in 2010.
I love Rush.
Brilliant, i had some jobs i had to do, oops 2hr 46 minutes later, love Rush, superb upload thankyou
This is awesome!

It's the last show of Neil rip, but Rush keep forever and ever the world's best band of prog rock
Great band
Cuanta energia GEDDY LEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GEDDY LEE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Chrisedge
Great Recording. Thanks!!!
muito obrigado pelo upload!!
So glad Neil's illness was kept under wraps instead of the constant barash by the press Freddy Mercury got
I'm glad too. It's amazing for three years Geddy, Alex, and others hid it so well.
Yeah, the guy dis right by him.IMHO. Their ending tour can be judged(as if if it was even nedded)on its own merits!
Felt like I was there...ty
Show of hands é o único cd live que tenho, comprei ele quando era um garoto. Detesto CDs ao vivo porque a qualidade do som cai muito, mas amo aquele CD. Triste não ter tido oportunidade de ver eles ao vivo. R.I.P. Neil...
Get 'Different Stages'. IMO it's their best Live recording. Not easy to find but with 3 discs, it has lots of great songs!
Bro there is this guy screaming “PLAY YYZ PLAY YYZ” then they play yyz and he screams “YEEAAHH” so happily
Wow, little bit of a struggle in Presto for the professor; rare. ✌🏾🥁🎶
I loved the little movie they made for this
it's so cool they did the two Clockwork songs, like going to the "future" to bring the Time Machine concept full-circle. Clockwork is the only album they released after Signals I put in their top 10 all time
Counterparts says hi!
Wait, there's Albums After Presto?
Wtf... was Alex drunk!?
Damn need to pause becuase I am cooking on December 25th 2020...lol
Watching this on December 26, 2020....
It's All RUSH, All Day here in Seattle on December 30, 2020.
I remember in '77 when 2112 and the EYES screen in the back was the highlight... that was technology in '77...
I like Newport he was awesome drummer I like listening to listening to his solos along with Rush he was awesome
Neil played with any as any musician knows cuz I played guitar he plays with feel
All hail!
My dear friends from old country.....
The Professor
He has played some Really Great shows - this in one of them
recognize and enjoy
Вокал и инструментал гитара поёт и голос да да да это счастье в душе
I was at this show!!!!
I never got to see them live, this is my biggest rock n roll sin and regret :(
I feel for you, my brother or sister. I took my wife to see their R40 tour stop in New Orleans in 2015. Was the thrill of our lives! And just in the nick of time, as the band played its last time together for that tour.
@@Shabba6884 which venue did they play in New Orleans?
@@TonyinMBSC8669, the Smoothie King Center, once known simply as New Orleans Arena. Next to the Superdome.
Alex is SOOOOOOO COOOOOL
I sat inside that kit at the Columbus OH show.
Time stand still!!!
We miss you.
Stick It Out is the jam!!!
Sometimes I get distracted from the music and wonder how the people in the front 3, hell 10 rows got so fuckin lucky! lol Great video! Great band! Great tour!
Holy Fuck, what a show! Bravo!!!
Espetacular!!!
Very nice!!!
Love RUSH
camera eye was hilarious. poor guys hahahaha
The master
You can actually hear Alex’s backing vocals here. Wish they had mixed him higher on all of their DVDs, he’s not half bad
Brilliant
If Geddy Lee played with more than one finger, the Universe would cease to exist in a flash of glory.
hope Neil is jamming with Eddie Van Halen and John Entwhistle
Me too
With DIO in the vocals
or Lemmy from Motorhead
EXCELENT
Oj oj oj..... Detta är så himla bra...
Was there
Neil is in the fucking zone this show.
Just noticed Neil smiling at 31:15 (or so) during 'Working Them Angels' when Geddy sings the word smile. Just a geeky observation.
makes sense since he wrote it haha
Well knowing Neil for as long as I did I know there are moments in each song when a certain word is sung it brough back a memory for Neil
COOL OBSERVATION!
Love these guys. They will always be my musical heroes. Musically they pulled this off like true masters but by 2011 Geddy’s vocals were shot. I saw them in Charlotte during the Snakes & Arrows tour and then Raleigh a couple of days later. Geddy’s voice was amazing and they ALL played amazingly as well. A few years later came the Time Machine Tour. Right out of the gate Geddy’s voice was hard to listen to. It got worse during the Clockwork Angels tour but by the time r40 came around I stopped caring. Here were 3 guys who had made such an impact on millions of their fans lives that I stopped caring. It was bad though lol 😂 😂 There were a lot of mistakes during this show that surprised me. Still the best though.
“It doesn’t suck so bad” - Kugel
Great video, nice to see them doing what they do best. But Ged's voice is having issues here.
🤫 (sad but true)
