    What a great Dad! My dad got me started on woodwork by letting me hold the wood down. Great job

    It would be great if you could provide a drawing or even just a document with all of the materials used, measurements, etc. I really want to build this!!!

    I wish lumber prices had stayed that low. This is a very good idea though. I want to build something like this for my mother bc she has a particle board desk that sucks. This turned out very nice!

    This is perfect for what I need for my daughters room and seems simple enough to build. Did you have to rip the 1x2 strips down to make better edges when trimming everything out or did you just put them on as they came?

    • @MrGizmo211
      @MrGizmo211  2 года назад +1

      I put them in as they came.

    That is a very nice desk. Are you able to share the measurements, mainly the length from the middle to the end and the width. I am thinking about trying to find someone to build this for my wife, but I am not sure if it can fit in the area needed.

      That’s the issue I’m looking at. I’m thinking about building it in the room while it’s empty and being painted.

    I like the video, short and sweet. Focused on the important aspects of the build. Great job. I've been looking into ideas for supporting the corner piece of a corner desk. I have my own Idea for a larger Corner desk with a cubby shelf that sits on top of the desk to make a computer monitor sit at eye level. I wish your desk wasn't gray and stained instead. But that is personnel preference. I like the trim idea, but I do have raw lumber I will be working with. But I have taken my notes and thank you for the video.

    Hey great desk !!! But one question, what are the measurements of the cabinets, I've been trying to figure it out but I don't think my measurements would be correct since I'm not a carpenter. Thank you for the idea and hopefully you see my comment 😊

      Your question is legit. The answers may mention going on the diagonal but his video said it's 24X24 " square. It's actually 20x20 " square with a 24 inch diagonal.

    you say you measured 20" in from each side of the 38x38 square, but the ends of the 45 degree cut are flush with the edges of the 24x24 squares... That math doesn't work.
