Media car's number given to MotorOctane ends with "E" whereas the other Octavia car's number in this video ends with "G" so it's definitely not the one reviewed by MotorOctane.
No surprise about the lack of a sunroof. The international variant doesn't get it either. I think it's not possible to fit one to the new Octavia because of the shape and curvature of the roof. Only the long wheelbase China-only Octavia Pro with the longer roof has a sunroof.
But yeah, I'm surprised about the lack of ventilated seats. Also, increasing the ride height wasn't such a smart idea, as it seems to have affected the handling.
Skoda's problem was about the bad service as per my experience. After that I changed to own VW. But, now Skoda's design rocks compared to VW. But for the owner of Skoda cars more service centres are must. Better Skoda service centres merge with VW service centres.

This is a truly redesigned car that can compare with Mercedes or BMW. I truly was very impressed after trying this yesterday. I must say compared to all the big guns like Merc or BMW or Volvo SUVs any day this car beats them hollow. It’s road balance , grip on road cornering is very impressive. I have driven many big names in market but this really impresses me got its interior finish , design , seating every thing is very good. If you are spending this amount you will thank me for advicing you today.

@1:28 The Skoda puddle light isn't projected from the ORVMs. These lights are inside the front doors (below the bottle holder compartment). The ORVMs, however, get the Spot/Boarding LED lights. Thanks for the video, btw! :)

My man's back with vlogs, and btw skoda made the Octavia less sporty to sell the vrs version.
I am expecting to have a 385hp tsi engine in the vrs.
Its a facelift bro so it will have tha same 2.0ltr engine with 245bhp

Currently driving Octavia 2019 due to covid this model got delayed but otherwise this was my choice. Definitely my next car will be Skoda. Amazing what you get for the price. No sunroof is a disappointment but with current situation never used it. Performance, no match for DSG gear shift. Press the gas in sports mode the sound gives a real race car feel. Canton system is my special love, bose too is a no match for it.

SAOOOOOO relieved to know this doesn't have sunroof. I'm sure whosoever owned Octavia would trade seat ventilation for sunroof. In India especially sunroofs are useless.

Can you do a Compass Petrol Automatic vs the Octavia? Given that Octavia is more expensive than Compass, it makes it a very difficult decision to take call. Jeep has a premium brand appeal compared to Octavia but is cheaper, does it make sense?
