I think the GTA V one would've fit better if the music started playing as Michael gets into his car similar to when *"It's A Set Up"* does in the original game.
Because, in a way, Walter White and John Marston weren’t that different. Each did what they did for their family. Well maybe not as much for Walt but you get the point 😌
@@xxcronomaxx7986 well i might not noticed as i was paying attention to the dialogue rather than the background but i think on my 2 playthrough i didn't got that i belive xD

I remember the first time I saw the ending. not so as much as the first time i played the game myself because it was the first game i ever played (and that was years ago like 2012)
And so the courier who cheated death in the cemetery cheated death again, And the Mohave wasteland was forever changed then the song rolls in "baby blue"
The door shutting and the song ending was so perfect. If it wasn't for the magnificence that is Carra Mia Addio. I would've accepted this song as the ending to Portal 2.
i think the lack of music on the red dead ending fit well, because you already know he's not going to survive, but the ability to go out there and start shooting forces a bit of denial on the player for a bit before killing him.
My opinion, portal is the one that fits best here. The feeling of your best friend returning after so long, the feeling also gets harder when they died in your eyes, and you killed them. Just when you escape, the place awards you with your only friend in the entire lore.
this fits so much to red dead if you listen to the lyrics

i think the way the guy edited it was perfectly executed
Agreed
It'd have been better if this GTA ending was Ending B...Baby Blue would have fit perfectly with Micheal's death.....
Fits well with GTA V. They killed all of their enemies and tied loose ends, much like Walt.
In a way that works with RDR as well. Except John is the last loose end

Because the song is about accepting fate and saying goodbye to the one you loved 👍
Honestly, the GTA V one just hits different. It just fits, honestly. Has that 'ending of a good heist movie' thing going on.

Yeah this story is actually the journey of the chair not Edward. It was finally free from Blackbeard’s ass and flew away!
The gta5 one hits hard and I don't know why
Maybe because it makes you remember how great the history was and then with the music you vibe and remember it all...

I damn near welled up at Red Dead and Black Flag. The song just fits so well. The cherry on top is that Abigail and Jenny are actually wearing blue.

It does fit with all of these but rd1 realism is cut short with music like this. The silence, no music, just gunfire, few words and John dying is nice
