I'm so jelly at how good you freehand French tips. I start off doing well, second-guess myself, and muck it up. Every. Single. Time. Got a guide plate, and instead of leaving it be after I paint it, I start to second-guess, and ruin them.
The ones you didn’t like were still well done and a cool technique- I think the ‘brush strokes’ one would look really cool with black, gunmetal and purple or something
i think if you use a deeper, darker green the design might come out more christmasy and less toothpaste-y 😆but i genuinely did like all of the designs!

I love the 2nd one. I don’t think what you painted is an actual PLANT but it looks to me like garland so it’s totally Christmasy and the berries gave it pizzazz without going overboard. Thanks for the idea. Simple yet festive too.

Hey James, idk if you'll ever see this, but I used to have the same issue with stars. What fixed it for me is a longer liner brush, anywhere in the 20-30mm range. Hope this helps!

it only looks toothpaste-ish because of that shade of green. With a darker evergreen color, particularly one with a little shimmer and sparkle in it, it would be fine
