  • 1964 BUICK SKYLARK FOR SALE: bulletmotorspor...
This 1964 Buick Skylark is in great shape. It looks to have original miles based on the interior and underside condition. No rust or bondo, Paint is easily a 7.5 out of 10. What I love about this car is the second you turn the key it starts! It drives like a modern car, brakes feel great and overall it is a very sorted piece.

3 things to love about vintage cars:
    1. Pull into the gas pumps any way you want to - center mounted fuel filler.
    2. Actual rear seat legroom.
    3. Back door windows that actually wind ALL the way down. (In 4 doors.)

My dads old ‘78 Grand Prix had the center mount filler. I wish the back windows on new coupes went down.

The fixed quarter windows on all latter editions were what the bean counters were calling for!

I have daily driven a 77 Skylark with a 307 in it for the last 15 years. I paid $800 for it intending to rebuild it and make it as weekend Cruise in car and after getting it home and giving it the once over I discovered it was in better shape than I thought and I decided to sell my newish car that I had just paid off and put that money into the Skylark and just daily drive it, with alot left over to put away for a rainy day. That being said this car is WAY too nice and way to few miles to be daily driven.

GM was #1 for styling back then.
My aunt had one of these back then.
It was, I think, the first V6. She like a
standard, so it was a three on the tree. Beautiful car...

Yes. Absolutely. This is a perfect example. The bad thing is having it just sit.

Found this video by accident. Wish that I could post a photo of my 64 Buick Special (almost the same car, but, with less trim) that I restored from the ground up back in 1991. Same color, but, with a 1972 462 BB Buick (with "simple" goodies) that was built to look like my 64 came from the factory with it. Simple set of Cragars and an awesome stance. Rode like a Cadillac and would run high 11's in the quarter with full "quiet" exhaust. This video brings back so many good memories. Whew....

I have and restored a 1965 Buick special it is the basic model of the skylark has a 300 v8 two speed supper turbine transmission all stock 210 horsepower original gas mileage rating is 18 to 20. I have had this car for 19 years it's very dependable and I love it. These cars are A body chassis same as GTO and Malibu you will find alot of the parts on drive train and inside of car are the same.

If you buy it only to look at it, then buy the shell and call it a day, don't buy it just for it to sit there collecting rust.
