I like these and Cutlass, ... love Chevelles, Novas and Camaros but its nice to see the more obscure ones.. my old man had a 1965 Oldsmobile F-85 with w built 454 with a 4 speed on the floor
My second grade teacher bought a new Skylark in 1964, and it was maroon with a silver top insert and maroon interior. I always thought that it was one of the most attractive Skylarks. For my own cars, I always gravitate towards a car with either white vinyl or white leather interior and either a bright green or bright yellow exterior. By the time that I learned to drive, my parent owned a 1971 Buick Sportwagon based in the Skylark line -- I hated it when my mother insisted upon trading it on a 1979 Phymouth Horizon -- there never has been a car that I enjoyed for road trips as much as the Sportwagon.
I had a 1964 Special 2 door post car. It had the same roofline but narrower chrome moulding down the side. Got it from my dad. It too was yellow but the air cleaner said it was a 310 Wildcat. I thought it meant cubic inches, but quickly found out it was 300cid and the 310 was its torque rating. We painted it solid black and put a set of Cragar SS wheels with white letter tires. It was a nice, comfortable car....except no air conditioning - in Florida 😅.
I have a 1975 455 Trans Am, it is navy blue with white interior......colors look really awesome but it is such a headache to keep the vinyl seats clean......especially with the windows down in the summer......the back seat is like a road grime and dead bug guts magnet LOL!
I have a white interior in my car and yes it stinks to keep clean......had a bird bomb the back seat with purple berries through an open window while driving one time ......and yeah it was super fun to get it spotless again....bird made a million to one shot on that one LOL😅🤣😂
She's a beauty, nice color combo with the ruby red on white. Personally not a fan of all the pin-striping. From a time when Buick was Buick right under Cadillac, some of their designs like the Riviera at that time were arguably better than Cadillacs of the time. Unfortunately now their survival and success is dependent on sales to China which have been strong.
yeah maybe in lighter colored cars like the one in the video pop more with a white interior but I myself would prefer a color matched interior if available if not tan saddle brown silver or Cognac or cloth depending if it were a north east car or one that was to be used down south for example in Florida. when I was a teenager my late maternal grandfather's 2nd wife now widow owned a 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXI Convertible in deep Amethyst Purple with sandstone tan interior/soft top because they also used the car in Florida where they spent the winter or at least weekends in the winter because he was back on the Boston Police as a Sargent detective from 1994-2002 as he reached mandatory retirement age in April 2002 age 65 unfortunately he passed due to ongoing heart problems and type 2 diabetes complications aged 78 in March 2016 and his widow now 82 has dementia late maternal grandmother passed away January 22nd 2022 aged 88 of a stroke
Beautiful Buick ❤
That’s a real beauty. I can’t imagine it in yellow, that red is just to perfect especially with the white top.
Wow!!!!!
That is a beautiful car.
A Sweet ride , thanks Dennis and Mac :)

Years ago I had a 67 Cadillac convertible that was red with a white interior. The white interior was gorgeous but it was so hard to keep clean!!! 😬

The roof is a Halo top. It was an option 64 and 65.
60's cars are the best

Didn't the line up go-Cadillac, Oldsmobile, then Buick? I could be wrong 🤔
@@drift3rkid66 You're right.
Cadillac - Oldsmobile - Buick - Pontiac - Chevrolet
