Great vid. I used the 510H until now. You mentioned that the 3.5mm plug and the boom mic cannot be used together but you did not mention the fact that the 3.5mm cable still has an effective mic. It may not be as good as the boom but it gets the job done.
@@MTGFoil Thats my issue. The touch function works 1 out of 3 times and when it does it only lowers the volume slightly so you find yourself sitting there constantly swiping to get it anywhere close to mute. If they had just implemented a standard volume wheel these would have been great.
I know this is old. But your didn't mention the built in mic. You don't need to use the boom mic. The built in mic is on the left side front. The little hole, that's the built in mic.
Touch controls didn't work too great for me. I found myself having to swipe or tap multiple times to get the desired responsiveness. Sound quality is so so. I'd say it's slightly above avg. for me but nothing ground breaking or awe inducing. Noise cancelation is also above avg. but I've seen way better. Sound quality is pretty solid, I'd say about the same as my AirPod Pros. All around I'd say I got exactly what I paid for. A slightly mid+ headset for a casual gamer. If you're looking for a top notch high-end gaming headset, this ain't it.
I don't recommend this headset. After just 3-4 month of normal usage, the holder of the right ear piece wears-off and the it comes out of the hanger showing the wiring inside. Dell classify is as customer induced damage and refuse to repair/replace it, even though it has 2 years warranty. So no matter how much you like the sound, the appearance, the mic, or any technical part of it, be prepared that it may be broken in a few months and the warranty is basically useless. In addition, this product does not come with a service tag, so it's a bit harder to get the technicall support compared to other dell products.
I’ve NEVER had that happen to any over ear headphones I’ve owned in my entire life. I’m a musician, audiophile, and gamer so I’ve had plenty. Budget and high priced models. Sounds like u just dk how to properly take care of your things to me.
This review is good. But learned it from the other youtubers which unboxed this headset earlier, the connectivity is very poor by using bluetooth which constantly bring down connection ?!! Not sure it gets some patches to fix it ???
Hi, I watched your other review regarding the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, so comparing this one vs Razer BlackShark V2 Pro which one do you prefer for gaming and daily computer work long hours use?
After a year the joint that holds the cup to the band comes out and makes the headset useless. If you can land them on sale, the audio quality is great. But I feel there are better options
The fact that the chassis is made the same way Steel makes theirs is a deal breaker. I loved my Steel pro series wireless. The set where you charge the extra battery in the mix amp. But I went through 3 pairs due to the hand band breaking away from the connection to the ear cup. If you have a smaller head it’s not a problem.
I plan to get this actually for ANC. Im looking for a headset for the transparency function while I game. Usually computer gaming with some one else and they are always trying to talk to me.
When you’re talking to people while gaming, do you sound like how you sounded when you where testing the noise canceling with the keyboard? Just asking because I don’t really like how it sounds.
Dang it I wanna get these to match my setup - have Alienware pc/keyboard/mouse and so I want the headphones to match but this seems like it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. Why can’t they just make too of the line products dammit
I am expecting the dobly atmos feature so much, cuz I love watching dobly atmos movies on PC, wondering how this headset performs. I was going to buy the B&o play portal initially for the sake of dobly atmos feature support, yet I decided to go for this one eventually.
Really good video, but don't you have a video to configure this headset to be more detail when you are playing fps? Sometimes I feel it's not configured correctly.
I got this headset for $116 new from amazon Have to say the headset sounds absolutely trash without any eq or anything, the EQ shown in this video at 06:30 (with a little higher 32hz and 64hz and 125hz lets say around -3db) the headset sounds significantly better Like I actually enjoy listening to music now and gaming is way better than before Still, this headset is not the best for sound quality and I would get hyperx alpha wireless over this anyday (if its available in my region) Battery wise it lasts me 2-3 days easy so thats a great point for these budget anc headset (only reason I got these is because I already owned a cheap wh-ch710n anc headset so I thought why not sell that and get 1 which works on pc too) other than that I would still prefer pc38x for pc gaming and comp gaming anyday (paired with even a low end dac or a microphone dac like epos b20 has)
Although I enjoy watching these kind of videos on these new headsets that are always coming out, I can't justify myself to buy a headset over 100 USD, let alone 60. 🤣😅 I've had a Steel Series Arctis 5 pair since 2019 and they still are holding up.
@@Taylormade2350 I've tried ANC before, I don't like the whole "pressurized" feeling of it. My headset blocks out plenty noise, and I also need to hear myself while talking or else it feels like I am being too loud. I also just don't like being completely isolated from sound around me.

Audio on these are amazing for the price you pay, however no volume wheel kills these headsets
it actually does. The sides are an touch function 4:14

3:20 The cable has a mike on it also so that's why you don't need the boom mike plug in when the cable is pluged in

do you think it can be used on gym or daily use? maybe the color black

So what
😢 that happened to me ! Just 1 month using !!! Horrible!!!

Same thing happened to me today on the left here, I wonder how it happened
Mine just short-circuited 😂
Have to say, its pretty good for its price.
The sound especially.
Only issue is the hinge where it attaches to the cup. Its weak AF. Be careful.

Great review! Well done on explaining the features. Subscribed

Is it compatible with iphone?
When you’re talking to people while gaming, do you sound like how you sounded when you where testing the noise canceling with the keyboard? Just asking because I don’t really like how it sounds.
Correction. You CAN use two audio sources. I play Halo 5 wiredto remote while my Iphone is connected via bluetooth. Please try so you can see.
Usefull thenks

Sheesh! Good time to be looking for a headset. Some great options coming out! 👽
Didn’t know dis dropped gonna have to check it out
Its released fews months ago but hard to find and dont have many reviewers talked about it
I’m having a issue with turning the volume up when I have microphone connected, when wired in works just fine. HELP on ps5

Are these better than the steelseries arctis 7p+?
No
My 510h is broken and Dell just gave me this 920h for free. I kinda miss my good ol' 510h.
I have one and it's so good. I kind miss too.
is there any latency or audio delay while gaming, connected to pc or mobile through Bluetooth?
No
Can I use those for on the go music listening? Is the quality good enough for that?
No
Really good video, but don't you have a video to configure this headset to be more detail when you are playing fps? Sometimes I feel it's not configured correctly.

Are the 510H earpads compatible with this headset?
I'm fraid not. Unfortunately, I have both and it not compatible. And the 510h has a better earpads and it's way more confortable than AW920H.
It looks like two dustbusters strapped together. lol.
Does it have support for Hi Res codecs?

How are we in 2023 and $200 headphones don't offer variable headband strength...
This is by no means a budget device

This headset is DOA. you can get a 2year old headset that's 100x better. Look at the JBL Quantum's 800 or 810.
Or the 910 that's coming out really soon. Look into it. I believe it should be out by now.
No, it's not lmfao
It is actually better than a jbl.If you don't mind the large headset that falls from your head you can get a soundcore life q10i.
