I agree, spray waxes for ease of use or rather speed but there's something old school about hand waxing a car. Also if you polish, would you then apply a spray ceramic wax after🤔?
As a business decision for my normal production line details, it would definitely have been a spray on like Black Ice, but it didn't live up to it's promise of 12 months, so if TW 75 lasts 12 months, well that would change the game, especially having the ability to share the information on what the product really is.
Bought this when it first came out. Best paste wax out there and the durability is excellent. After 2 months and 5 washes still looks great. Worth every penny.
Turtle wax ceramic and graphene paste wax lasting? realistic? Without any further protection? And with 3 layers? With 4 hours application in between? And approx 18 hours protective enviroment and dry it will be realistic scenario 9 months at least? What do you reckon? With approx 4 application layers... 2 straight away and the other 2 additional after 6 hours and then car was inside in the garage for approx 14 16 hours! So do you recommended and reckon that it will have at least 9 months? How often do you recommended to re apply for? Every 2 or 3 months? How. Many layers? 2 to 3 layers and to stay at least 12 hours inside in a garage?
I use this every august and it lasts a realistic year.. I wash both cars, clay bar both, then put two coats of this on two very clean cars.. both are garage kept every night, and again, religiously cleaned weekly. Glass i clean with distilled water and two caps of white industrial vinegar, I also run mcguires compound on my glass.. it removes water spots and makes your glass as clear and perfect as possible.. But, i have tried the hydro gel chemical brothers, but still this works better..
Turtle wax has really put out some great products over the past few years - they used to be low end back in the day but really have changed their image.
@@epicautomotivedetailing agreed. These new ceramic sprays are amazingly easy to use, work well and make the car look amazing. Since the first spray came about others have joined and mostly all get good reviews. Being an old timer used to planning a day to hand wax your car, these new sprays are a godsend! I try them all. Wanted to get my hands on this TW but it is sold out everywhere! My 2008 C300 looks like it is brand new because I take care of it using all these good products. Some call it a chore. I have been using this wax for about 5 years. I don't drive much since covid as i am still 100% remote, so my car sits a lot, usually a week and only leaves the weekend, so for my car this wax lasts over a year before i apply it again. The wife's car, that's a different story, her car is driven daily and of all things past a Lime processing factory, so every 3 months i have to use a restore product on the plastic, but i still get a year out of this product on the body.. I have tried the hydro chemical brother's ceramic gel. It works well too, but only lasts 6 months..
This is the one that doesn't cause nasal n skin allergies, due paste foam, rather than fumes. Loved it! Using Soft99 paste too. Gorgeous SL n results! Thanks for video, stay safe!
I just bought the Turtle wax Color Magic Jet Black. Tested it yesterday. It's impressive. You need to wear gloves. Easy on, easy buffing. It stays black at panel seams and doesn't cure into a white eyesore. $12 US. It can hide small nicks and makes the black look very deep. I will buy more. Great video!
I use the turtle wax ice spray and you would never know my truck is going on 8 years old. I have a Ruby Red 2013 Ford Edge and people are always amazed at how slick and beautiful the shine looks ,especially women . LOve detailing my baby .
On the cars I work on, I like to use wax as a final stage protection. Autoglym ultra HD, Bilt hamber speed wax, and Harley carnauba wax are my go to products. 99% of my work is on classic and historic vehicles, and the owners like to see there cars have been waxed in the traditional way.
That's a very good way to look at it. Traditional waxing not normally for me until the other day. Then again I tested graphene spray today and that made question which I prefer
I've tried several spray waxes on my new car(s) and older cars. They work well for maybe a month and then die, and that is using quality PH balanced soap. Even with cheaper pastes and liquids, they at least go 3 months before they wear out. I just don't think spray waxes hold up well under the HOT Florida sun, they probably work better for cooler/darker climates- they bond to paint sure, but they don't seem to leave much product behind to help seal and protect the paint.
Thanks Jack. So pleased to help. I love mixing it up so some days are serious, some business, some stupid and some just totally random but I love making them 🙏
I heard mention that gyeon has a new wax that is supposed to be awesome.. new release etc ... love to see a comparison or just your opinions on the two
Currently I’m using Meguiars Black Wax. On first wax, the wax results a bit more glossy on my 10 years old black car. But after few months as I wax my car once a month, my car looks very amazing at a distance view, like a new paint, deep gloss (however they will see a lot of scratches if at close view). I think it is better to wax once per 1-3 month using good wax, rather than wax once a year, if you very care about gloss.
As you said, this wax have a great profit margin, but I wouldn't say paste waxes are dying! Yes normal waxes with a couple of weeks durability are dying, but waxes like this or the BH Double Speed wax have a good show off potential when it comes to impress customers. My Turtle Wax hopefully comes this Friday! I am excited to try it out.
Thanks mate sorry didnt mean that to be bad against wax. Just based on trending ceramic sprays becoming more popular. Im pleased that waxes are making a bounce back. Ive got a more in depth video on this coming but going to film real world tests first so should be interesting
No worries it wasn't mean at all. I was using spray sealants and lately Hybrid ceramic waxes on cars all the time. I just recently trying out paste waxes like Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax and you are right about return of investment, I just added that it is looking good for customers point of view. Spray waxes are really quick to apply but putting on paste wax is really old school. 😎
I'm more of a ceramic spray fan over paste wax. I like quick and easy fixes. I think if I had a nice car myself I would definitely be tempted for a paste wax because it would be more special to me 😁
In real it wasn't but the camera can't always show true defects but I'll be making an in-depth video and will feature this wax on 10 more videos this year so yes it's coming on another video soon
No matter what, on camera and photos, a car always looks to have paint in good or very good condition. Thats why viewers always say this sort of comments.
First time to your channel, great review so thanks for that. I've always used good quality wax, I think there's nothing more therapeutic than an hour waxing and polished my new paintwork. Fortunately I have time to do this and can't wait for us to receive it hear in Australia. Thanks again.
I'm not sure wax is dying out, there seems to be a returned interest in it, even Gyeon have brought out a new product, and it's a wax (Q2). I'm a fan of waxing and use Bilt Hamber - brilliant products across the range. Wax adds depth and enhances colour in a way sealants and sprays can't. It doesn't have the longevity of a ceramic, but it doesn't have the price either. I also find polishing and waxing the car a form of therapy, and just slowly enjoy the process ... and being left alone hah!
Mr Weekend Warrior here. Do you need to clay bar and machine polish before applying or will a normal wash and dry be ok?? I know you won't get 100-% showroom finish but is it worth doing??
A wax seals the paint and anything on it so if you don't get rid of all those contaminants you will just be sealing them in to do their worst on your paint. The polish side of it is if you want your car to look good for longer then by polishing it first, you then seal in that shine! Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.
You've asked a question I had in mind. I don't think I'd wax straight on to a really degraded paint finish but if your paint is decent I've often thought it would be OK to just wax accepting that you won't quite get the top drawer finish. It will still look better than most cars on the road.
Finally a car wax that has been doing what Nu Finish has been doing all along. I've been using Nu Fish since I was 21, 55 now and it has never let me down. Welcome to the future Turtle Wax
George I tried Nu Finish about 50 years ago and wasn't to happy with it. In fact I used it on my parents car, which was a newer car. It really didn't make the car shine and then after only 3 weeks it had disappeared. Then I tried it on my sisters 58 ford Fairlane hard top convertible. Which the paint was a little faded, because of its age. And Nu Finish didn't do anything. It didn't bring back the paint like they said it would and then it didn't even put a shine on it. I threw that shit in the trash. Worst shit ive ever used.
I don’t wax much these days as it is time consuming but do every now and then. When I do though, I’m always impressed with the look and a lot of waxes have the best beading.
Dave I’ve got an Audi A5 with black leather and I need to clean it and restore the colour... I’ve looked at all you videos and can’t see if you’ve mentioned any leather products to use. Have you got any advice on what product? the seats are in good condition just needs a clean and as I said restore the colour. Hood you’ve got some ideas 👍
Hiya i havent done videos that focus on leather really not new ones anyway. I used bear leather cleaner, meguiars leather cleaner. both have been great for me. For a deeper clean you can use yum interior
Turtle wax has been quite acceptable ever since they rolled out "Ice". I've had great results with their products over the years. I use everybody's products. Mothers, Meguiars, Turtle Wax, Griot's, Ammo, RainX, and the list goes on. They're all good products. I use Turtle Wax Ceramic on moist conditions, and Mother's Carnauba paste wax on "weekend show projects".
Am with you on all the above. Love this paste from TW. Mother's Carnuba still has its place doesn't it?...on certain paints [imho flat paint] Carnuba still "looks" prime.
I have applied 3 coats of the "75" on my flat red GTI. Respectfully Imho red is as rewarding as black and the results of this wax on the red has been as good as what you see here. Gloss, depth of color as well as better than decent durability has me hoping that TW will in some way continue this wax. It is freakin extraordinary. Three- four weeks on - topped with the FLEX Graphene spray is mf'ing astounding.
I’ve got magnetic gray metallic and let me tell you the depth, gloss, and flake that came after using this stuff was crazy and only improved after topping with P&S beadmaker. Now every wash I use beadmaker as a drying aid to just keep up the protection and the gloss and slickness is incredible
@@schmidtygt yes, that paste brings out the best "look" on everything. And that is just one of it's virtues. I personally have not used Beadmaker but if it works for you and gives you "pride the ride" then "shine on you crazy diamond!"
Hey, this was an eye-opener. I remember the Turtlewax company. They have come a long way. I am also used to hand-waxing, spending the day doing it. But with so many new types of products on the market, it has become very confusing. Paste, spray, hybrid, wax first, then spray, clay, rinse before, don't rinse before, etc. 😵💫 The answer to the question for me is I don't know yet. For one car, my daily driver I need something that will withstand daily, or every other day putting on and removing an outdoor car cover as the vehicle won't be garaged. For my SL, which is driven on weekends and is garaged, I need something to protect against the sun while driving or at a car show, and any dust while in the garage (shared). Nice vehicle you have to and thanks for presenting.
Just used it 36 euros here. Easy on ok off. Car is silver with minor flecks of gold and green called lexus sonic titanium. Brought out the flecks nicely and gloss is very good but didn't knock me off .y feet. I reckon 10 applications in a pot is about right. Thanks
@@epicautomotivedetailing to be fair I gave it another buff six hours later and the gloss is now outstanding must be a cure time as usual I read no instructions haaaaaa. Thanks again for the video it was excellent viewing.
I'm glad you're going to actually go back in a couple of weeks and a couple of months to look at the durability of this garlic yes I did take garlic wax if it is as good as soft99 which is also a hand applicated car wax which I can guarantee will last one solid year new graphene sorry garlic wax will be a winner a lot of us guys R looking forward to your future testing of this particular wax a wonder graphene wax
as long as its not a silver or white car, really like to do a paste wax. BH DSW is my go to £15 quid a pot good on and off, and you can quickly get round the car. but I have bought a pot of this stuff to give it a shot, but it looks good so far, it looks like it goes on like butter. TW are claiming 12 months when maintained with power max wash and topped up with the flex wax. they also say its compatible with the hybrid ceramics range as well!
Wash and wax shampoo isn't really enough. Ceramic coatings give long term durability, waxes can last for a fair few months. Ceramic spray sealants are what I tend to use regularly
It looks like waxes are coming back in fashion, I hear more and more new waxes coming from coatings manufacturers and if this TW wax lasts at least 7-9 months, than its a real winner considering its price
Would be really interesting to see what you think this paste wax versus say TW Ceramic Hybrid Solutions Spray Wax e.g. can you tell the difference in colour depth and gloss. Cheers for another interesting video.
If I remember correctly isn’t there a special way your supposed to apply this. I feel like I remember it being backwards, did they say to apply this on top of one of there liquid products?
Just used this wax this morning it's truly amazing to use so simple to work with nothing iv used before is this good infinity wax plus gloss is good but nothing like this well done turtle wax very impressive stuff
TW onto another beltin' product, Pan's black Audi demo looked just as good as the Merc does Dave, you could be onto a winner there, look forward to the updates. 🐢🐢🐢
Thanks mate. This car only had a wash and dry and I wanted to put people's minds at rest that prepping ain't everything. Sometimes a good wax is all you need 🙂
Thats interesting as I was under the impression you would polish before waxing. That looked great if it wasn't polished then. What do I do with my new tin of Meguires???
@@andyprior6099 nothing wrong with some Ult Compound/Polish in the summer, before protecting it all again......but you don't need to prep is what Dave is showing.
Brilliant review. I think for the money, this is ALOT of wax for the money. Especially as there are waxes out there that don't do half of this for twice the value. The gloss was amazing on this, I'll be buying some for my monza rs6 after this review
As just a car user what is the quickest product to use for giving my car a really good polish. How often is a normal time period between polishes? Thanks. Videos are great.
Thanks for the video. I noticed your wax was nice and fresh. I just ordered this through Amazon and the DOM is over two years old (5/10/21). Do you think that's an issue? Thanks
I do think you could of used pretty much any paste wax on that fairly new car and got the same amount of gloss The graphine thing all seems like the new " ceramic" lable That all new products need to have in order to sell regardless of how much graphine oxide is in them or if it actually works any better than a normal paste wax Would love to see more paste wax tests on your channel really enjoying your videos at the moment some great tips in them
I’m a weekend warrior who doesn’t own a machine polisher (I know!). Could I apply this after washing and without polishing? I use Bilt Hamber snow foam and Bilt Hamber concentrate wash and currently my car has autoglym polar seal on it
@@nasdoc1 in terms of bringing back that shine I use odk solo, yum ceramic, for short term filling I use Autoglym polish then layer it with odk waxes. Depends on what you like. This is brilliant wax for sure but I don't think you need that much so a cheap small pot would of been easily good enough as most car enthusiasts like to try loads of products for the fun of it if that makes sense
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thanks. I guess I'm one of those car enthusiasts who likes to try loads of stuff. Lol! But I try loads of stuff just to experience what each product has to offer, for learning. Aim being to find one product that makes my car look new, shiny with some protection, easy and quick to apply after the wash. Thanks so much.
hello Epic. thanks for the review. can you please let me know your advice on how to get the car ready for the wax? I mean... ok, I can go and foam it and then get it all clean... still, the care will not be perfectly clean. is there any product I can use better than the foam from the self cleaning stations? and then use the pressured water to rinse it off? or there is no way around and the car always needs to be purified like in a more in depth detailing process?
TW has just released a whole new line of car cleaning products, Where as the anniversary paste was $39.99 here in the USA, now it is being offered for @ $29.99 (+free shipping) without the anniversary lid. I will be ordering some soon !! thx for the info
I’ve used ceramic liquid Wax on my car, is it okay to apply Adam’s brilliant shine over it ? Or is it not worth the trouble since the ceramic is already applied?
Hi, i am planning to use this wax and then top it of with the Turtle Wax Graphene infused Flex wax. and repeat this combination every 3 months or so. What are your thoughts on that?
Ok I will follow this advise 👍. What would you recommend for my wheels? Same procedure or different? And would you recommend Carpro Eraser (or different) to prep paint and or wheels?
This looks very nice, however my question is: Suppose a waxing lasts 12 months, like you say. And suppose I wash the car once a month. This means that the wax can last twelve car washes ? Isn't that too much to claim ?
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yeah, I can't wait to see them. Very informative channel and greatly enjoy it. I am in the fortunate position of being retired, but owning a Alfa Romeo 159 ti Sportwagon in alfa rosso red - some people might say it's a colour that is too close to dog d**k red,. Can't wait to see how good my car will look after a good fettling with this stuff.
Out of stock on Amazon and both the US and British Turtle websites, most likely due to your glowing review. Maybe use some of your most likely new influence with Turtle and tell then to get it in gear. They are missing out on sales. Great review.
I’m looking for some good eco friendly products. Not simply because of the environment, but also for the safety aspect. Can you recommend some good ones? Always enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing you knowledge with us.
To be honest you can't help the environmental conditions that could ruin a car but something like a foam sealant offers quick protection. In a perfect world I'd say a ceramic coating but they come at a price for many people
I got it. It's came with that wax 2 towels and 2 T shirts and hat. I had subscription to glove box . It's was only $30 I payed for that month. They got me that box. Retail on the box was $120. Ebay sell that wax alone for $70
@@epicautomotivedetailing so on average you will say about 3 months? Or less? On average car? If it is 3 to 4 months on realistic driving it is not such an issue you wax you car just 3 to 4 times per year! And if you like the procedure you wax it 6 times a year every 2 months and you clay bar the car once or twice a year! If you have got garage everything is easier. If not and living in yet enviroment maybe you need to wax it 3 times a year and to top up every. Month with flex wax turtle wax product! Thanks for the answer!
Depends on factors like pre paint correction steps. And also if it's left out in the elements. I started testing few weeks ago so will update later in year in progress with test cars.
What applicator pad would you recommend? I bought pure definition ones and they feel rough. I'm scared to use them incase they scratch my paint. Cheers.
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thanks mate. I'm new to detailing and your videos are great. I'll have a look at the alien magic as I have decent microfibre ones from auto finesse.
Another amazing video Dave, for me if I have the time I will wax, if time is limited then its a sealant. Total convert to yum ceramic since you recommended it. I also like the sealant hydrophobic wax TW do but understand the American version has now an improved formulation with SI02 and uv protection included but havent seen anyone in UK stock it, have asked TW for a response but no dice as yet. I appreciate you said the wax is limited edition... I understood and please correct me if I am wrong that the wax would be on sale and would be available permanently? If limited then Im gonna have to order quick lol.
Hi Phil with the Turtle Wax Paste Wax the limited edition part is the packaging. After they sold out they are repackaging it with new labels so the same product will be available. Yum Wax is something im going to feature soon because of the insane gloss it offers
If you could pick between ceramic sprays or paste wax which would you chose??? Let me know in the comments below...

First time to your channel, great review so thanks for that. I've always used good quality wax, I think there's nothing more therapeutic than an hour waxing and polished my new paintwork. Fortunately I have time to do this and can't wait for us to receive it hear in Australia. Thanks again.
Hello From UK 👋. Thanks so much for watching. It's a great wax 👌
An I apply this ceramic+graphene paste wax over the carnauba paste wax?
Wax can built up
Just started using the Turtle wax Graphene spray wax / topper that’s also £30.00 quid = winner used it on a silver, plus black car pop central 👊
Yeah too right. It's amazing wax definitely going to test it more
Turtle wax used to be cheap and okay products but they are really changing their name and actually putting great effort at an affordable price
I think they have come a long way
I'm not sure wax is dying out, there seems to be a returned interest in it, even Gyeon have brought out a new product, and it's a wax (Q2).
I went back to this car the other day and filmed my thoughts after 3 months. Has some interesting results
That is certainly popping! Will see how your results turn out and go from there!! Another great video 👍🏻
Thank you. Filming with this all week for testing so there will be another video soon
So: is there any difference between this wax and a ceramic that is new?
Ingredients and curing time
Mr Weekend Warrior here. Do you need to clay bar and machine polish before applying or will a normal wash and dry be ok?? I know you won't get 100-% showroom finish but is it worth doing??
Personally no you don't need to. It's good enough on its own
A wax seals the paint and anything on it so if you don't get rid of all those contaminants you will just be sealing them in to do their worst on your paint.
The wax wont bond well if only washed. Durability will decrease faster. At least do a full decon before waxing.
Finally a car wax that has been doing what Nu Finish has been doing all along. I've been using Nu Fish since I was 21, 55 now and it has never let me down. Welcome to the future Turtle Wax
George
I tried Nu Finish about 50 years ago and wasn't to happy with it.
I've never had it last longer than a month.
Never used it so i can't really comment on that one
I don’t wax much these days as it is time consuming but do every now and then. When I do though, I’m always impressed with the look and a lot of waxes have the best beading.
Time is so precious these days but I'm getting more videos filmed with wax this month 🙌
Hello what are you using to apply, microfiber applicator or foam applicator
Dave I’ve got an Audi A5 with black leather and I need to clean it and restore the colour... I’ve looked at all you videos and can’t see if you’ve mentioned any leather products to use. Have you got any advice on what product? the seats are in good condition just needs a clean and as I said restore the colour. Hood you’ve got some ideas 👍
Hiya i havent done videos that focus on leather really not new ones anyway. I used bear leather cleaner, meguiars leather cleaner. both have been great for me. For a deeper clean you can use yum interior
What is a good wash soap to use before applying?
Turtle wax has been quite acceptable ever since they rolled out "Ice". I've had great results with their products over the years. I use everybody's products. Mothers, Meguiars, Turtle Wax, Griot's, Ammo, RainX, and the list goes on. They're all good products. I use Turtle Wax Ceramic on moist conditions, and Mother's Carnauba paste wax on "weekend show projects".
Yeah I genuinely like a fair few products 👌
Am with you on all the above. Love this paste from TW. Mother's Carnuba still has its place doesn't it?...on certain paints [imho flat paint] Carnuba still "looks" prime.
what about water mark ? sio2 infused products is watermark magnet, no ?
What pressure should the washer be on so as not to damage the paint
Definitely not max. Unless you stand back because the real pressure point is where it initially comes out of the lance
@@epicautomotivedetailing thanks btw I have chrome running boards on my MB what product would be best at cleaning and shining them
I have applied 3 coats of the "75" on my flat red GTI.
I love this wax. The smell is a bit funky though lol
The answer to the question for me is I don't know yet.
I would go for the ceramic spray wax, as I have a solid white car it’s hard to get a really high shine with a paste wax
Just used it 36 euros here. Easy on ok off. Car is silver with minor flecks of gold and green called lexus sonic titanium. Brought out the flecks nicely and gloss is very good but didn't knock me off .y feet. I reckon 10 applications in a pot is about right. Thanks
Yeah I think they went all out with marketing that created a buzz. It's great though 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing to be fair I gave it another buff six hours later and the gloss is now outstanding must be a cure time as usual I read no instructions haaaaaa. Thanks again for the video it was excellent viewing.
@@keithireland6627 thank you 🙏
I just received mine in the mail...had to order it right from Turtle wax....cannot wait to see how it makes my car shine
It's ace 👌
Great fan of your show. Can i apply this over Meguiars ultimate ceramic spray, or is there no point mixing the two? Cheers Mike
I normally put spray on top. luckily Meguiars ceramic spray doesn't last that long
What do you use to get the wheels looking so good
I'm glad you're going to actually go back in a couple of weeks and a couple of months to look at the durability of this garlic yes I did take garlic wax if it is as good as soft99 which is also a hand applicated car wax which I can guarantee will last one solid year new graphene sorry garlic wax will be a winner a lot of us guys R looking forward to your future testing of this particular wax a wonder graphene wax
Lol that's funny. Broccoli is the next big thing though 👏 the repellency of that stuff is immense under the tap
as long as its not a silver or white car, really like to do a paste wax.
I used to the max as a base coat on a bmw the other day and did water tests and they looked ace. YUM WAX is something to keep your eye on 👀
I’m a weekend warrior. Just got a cx5 last month. So are you saying a simple wash and wax isn’t going to provide great results?
Wash and wax shampoo isn't really enough. Ceramic coatings give long term durability, waxes can last for a fair few months. Ceramic spray sealants are what I tend to use regularly
Looking for the video you mentioned about possibly highest gloss wax you've found.
I do like the turtle wax grraphene though..
Thanks
Didnt get round to it lol
How would you rate this product against autoglym ultra hd wax?
Evenly matched for me mate. The difference is so minimal
So is ceramic spray just as good as wax but easy to apply?
I have autoglym shine on my car since new and use autoglym products. However I am very tempted to move onto yumcars products?
It looks like waxes are coming back in fashion, I hear more and more new waxes coming from coatings manufacturers and if this TW wax lasts at least 7-9 months, than its a real winner considering its price
This wax definitely got my attention. Very impressed with it do far
Would be really interesting to see what you think this paste wax versus say TW Ceramic Hybrid Solutions Spray Wax e.g. can you tell the difference in colour depth and gloss. Cheers for another interesting video.
This is so much easier to apply by far. I'd chose this any day after using it
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thanks for your comments, best wishes.
@@epicautomotivedetailing I guess this paste wax also fills swirls better than spray ?
Can you use this on boats
Yes you can
Hello. I covered my car with Turtle Wax GRAPHENE Flex Wax. Which hand wash shampoo will support the graphene coating? Thanks for the answer.
U did compound on that merz before applying the wax? Super glossy
Nope nothing just the wax. Been back since and water still flies off 👌
Thanx bruhh.. All the best
@@Mogsy28uk sure, I totally get that. He knows way more than me.
Brilliant review. I think for the money, this is ALOT of wax for the money. Especially as there are waxes out there that don't do half of this for twice the value.
The gloss was amazing on this, I'll be buying some for my monza rs6 after this review
Yeah I still use this on certain cars. I think the brand is what puts people off it sadly
Is it available in the uk now?
Hello yes available on the turtle wax website only I think right now. Halfords may be few weeks away yet
Does it come with a applicator pad?
unfortunately i don't think they do. They are bringing out thick foam pads soon i believe
Almost pulled the trigger on the adams coating wax . Is better ?
I've not used Adams coating wax but all I can say is this is incredible but I've got a follow up video coming soon I need to do more testing
@@epicautomotivedetailing thanks man looking forward to the follow up video . We’re about to have beautiful weather so I need something lol
@@rafaelreyes9474 thank you for watching. Yeah I'm interested to see how it performs in hot weather
As just a car user what is the quickest product to use for giving my car a really good polish. How often is a normal time period between polishes? Thanks. Videos are great.
Some all in one polishes like rupes Uno protect can last a fair few months. Definitely worth a try
Should we use clay bar before applying this wax?
If the paint need it
@@Carlos.Rivera and how do we know that?
@@smartaquarius2021 by the touch, if feel like sandpaper definitely need clay. Paint should be smooth like glass
@@Carlos.Rivera oh ok. Actually my car color is sparkling silver. That paint already feels like a little rough
Thanks for the video. I noticed your wax was nice and fresh. I just ordered this through Amazon and the DOM is over two years old (5/10/21). Do you think that's an issue? Thanks
Do I need to apply Autoglym extra gloss? Or this would be enough?
This is incredible without the need for Extra Gloss 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing thank you :)
I do think you could of used pretty much any paste wax on that fairly new car and got the same amount of gloss
The graphine thing all seems like the new " ceramic" lable
That all new products need to have in order to sell
regardless of how much graphine oxide is in them or if it actually works any better than a normal paste wax
Would love to see more paste wax tests on your channel really enjoying your videos at the moment some great tips in them
To be fair this one is pretty amazing. I liked it anyways. I respect everyone's own opinion of it 🙏
@@epicautomotivedetailing
I will have to buy myself a pot then if you really think its that good 👍
Better than bilt Hamber speed wax?
In terms of first impressions on gloss then yes but i need to try that out side by side to be more accurate
I’m a weekend warrior who doesn’t own a machine polisher (I know!). Could I apply this after washing and without polishing? I use Bilt Hamber snow foam and Bilt Hamber concentrate wash and currently my car has autoglym polar seal on it
Yes of course and no shame in not having polisher. It's going to have reduced durability but still great
@@epicautomotivedetailing thank you 😊
Which one is better in terms of shine and durability? Turtle wax ceramic graphene paste wax OR Turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray?
Great video.
I prefer paste wax but to be honest there are so many better products out there now
@@epicautomotivedetailing better products for example? Priority being shine.
Pre order the wax got the day it came out made my white car shine like new even had people coming up to me saying how good it looked.
Nice one. Good to see real feedback. As long as it looks good and does the job then that's all that matters 👌
Just had a bottle of the interior mist delivered I never ordered it at all but its arrived so I will try that out now.
Hi I use the autoglym polar range witch comes with polar seal. Is this the same sort of thing but different? Or could I use this as well.
I haven't used Polar seal yet but do have some for a video so will let you know
hello Epic. thanks for the review. can you please let me know your advice on how to get the car ready for the wax? I mean... ok, I can go and foam it and then get it all clean... still, the care will not be perfectly clean. is there any product I can use better than the foam from the self cleaning stations? and then use the pressured water to rinse it off? or there is no way around and the car always needs to be purified like in a more in depth detailing process?
Applying Turtle wax graphene paste wax Can I use Turtle wax hybrid solution ceramic spray coating next?
TW has just released a whole new line of car cleaning products, Where as the anniversary paste was $39.99 here in the USA, now it is being offered for @ $29.99 (+free shipping) without the anniversary lid. I will be ordering some soon !! thx for the info
Turtle Wax is bringing it back it was hard to obtain earlier this year.
Yeah they coming back with a bang
I’ve used ceramic liquid Wax on my car, is it okay to apply Adam’s brilliant shine over it ? Or is it not worth the trouble since the ceramic is already applied?
Hi, i am planning to use this wax and then top it of with the Turtle Wax Graphene infused Flex wax. and repeat this combination every 3 months or so. What are your thoughts on that?
To be honest if say wax month 1. Spray month 2-3 then repeat
Ok I will follow this advise 👍. What would you recommend for my wheels? Same procedure or different? And would you recommend Carpro Eraser (or different) to prep paint and or wheels?
can it be used on glass?
Personally I wouldn't do it. I made a video on glass cleaning without chemicals which may help
Is GRAPHENE going to be the new catchword like ceramic was a few years ago.??
Have a feeling it will be. But then again give it 12 months something else will come along 😁
The finished shine on the Mercedes is awesome, but car not being prepped how long will it last?,but I have to stay tuned to see the results.
Thanks Steve I'm testing all week and filming clips for another video which will be more in depth so Will Keep everyone posted 🙌
Hi do we “need” this or Autoglym resin or is there a better one still
Autoglym first then apply wax on top
Can it be applied into the car windows
Personally I wouldn't. Pyramid car care do a quick fix glass armour or for something more hardcore and durable go for glass+ by yum
This looks very nice, however my question is:
Suppose a waxing lasts 12 months, like you say. And suppose I wash the car once a month.
This means that the wax can last twelve car washes ?
Isn't that too much to claim ?
Can I put on paste wax first and then a ceramic spray? Or ceramic spray first and then the wax?
No need to my friend
For the money, it's worth a try. Will be putting my order in.
Yeah its fantastic. I want to do some comparisons and a review soon
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yeah, I can't wait to see them. Very informative channel and greatly enjoy it. Having problem with it leaving streaks on black paint😩😭
No panic mate very easy fix take one fresh towel make it damp then follow with fresh dry towel and streaks will go 👌
Out of stock on Amazon and both the US and British Turtle websites, most likely due to your glowing review.

Hello thank you for watching. In terms of eco friendly there are many brands that have bio degradable. The ingredients may be out of my realm
Will it resist hard water spots?
To be honest you can't help the environmental conditions that could ruin a car but something like a foam sealant offers quick protection. In a perfect world I'd say a ceramic coating but they come at a price for many people
Do I have to apply and remove by hand or can I use a dual action polisher? Thanks.
Definitely don't apply by machine mate
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thanks. Much appreciated, eh. 🇨🇦
I got it. It's came with that wax 2 towels and 2 T shirts and hat. I had subscription to glove box . It's was only $30 I payed for that month. They got me that box. Retail on the box was $120. Ebay sell that wax alone for $70
Yeah i got the t Shirt not sure how long they will last but so far so good
hey! can we use it on chrome? like the chrome tank of continental gt650?
Yes
Can you let us know about realistic protection? It is more than 6 months?
6 months at best I've noticed
And by the way 6 months isn't a bad thing 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing so on average you will say about 3 months? Or less? On average car? If it is 3 to 4 months on realistic driving it is not such an issue you wax you car just 3 to 4 times per year! And if you like the procedure you wax it 6 times a year every 2 months and you clay bar the car once or twice a year! If you have got garage everything is easier. If not and living in yet enviroment maybe you need to wax it 3 times a year and to top up every. Month with flex wax turtle wax product! Thanks for the answer!
Can I apply it over a (previous) ceramic coat?
Personally I wouldn't I'd go for a ceramic detailer instead 👌
Great video. May this wax work as a ceramic coating maintenance product?
Do you mean after you coated the car?
Can this wax be applied over and existing wax or do you need to do a strip wash prior to applying?
Personally I'd do a strip wash first and start over
How long does this last?
Depends on factors like pre paint correction steps. And also if it's left out in the elements. I started testing few weeks ago so will update later in year in progress with test cars.
Can it remove swirl marks? Plz suggest me
only temporarily hides them
What applicator pad would you recommend? I bought pure definition ones and they feel rough. I'm scared to use them incase they scratch my paint. Cheers.
I use foam ones from alien magic, microfibre ones from go Detailing also great. This one I'm using came From turtle wax 👌
