Hi I wanted to ask whether you would recommend for a water colour beginner: the winsor and newton paints or the koi paints? I'm looking for something thats easy to use but also not on the expensive side. Also what paper is good to use?

Honestly I preferably like to use cold press paper because of the texture but I also like hot press paper because of the smooth finish so really the paper is really up to you and I would recommend the Sakura koi pallet of 12 so you can get better at mixing colors together and also it’s much cheaper to practice with

I'm tempted to see if I can use these tutorials with my pastel Tombow Dual Brush pens....
You can probably achieve similar effects with the Dual Brush Pens!
