Check out my brand new Patreon! www.patreon.com/follygon I am SUPER excited to make this announcement! 🤩 I've created a Patreon because I want to spend more time creating 3D characters and sharing that process with you! Check it out at the link above 😁 EDIT: WOW WOW WOW I was not expecting so many people to join so quick. You're all so amazing and I can't wait to meet you! A huge thank you to everyone that has signed up so far!
I think it’s so interesting how I would have immediately thought her hair in the back has the same outward flip as in the front, but your interpretation works so well! The hair is just stunning!
Nice catch! I was originally thinking the same and played around with that idea - but it felt really odd from the profile with the other hair on top. That's when tried what I have in the final character and felt that worked a little better.
Hello! Amazing work of art, i have a , maybe a silly, question Mr. Follygon : when you brake the simmetry and pose the body, subtools just follow along (hair, eyeballs, hand, etc) and place in the exact same position where your body is. Whats that tool, plugin, function called Sir?Thanks, i hope you see this, excuse my english, keep it up
Hey @follygon this is a question i've had for a little while here. If someoen were to get zbrush core mini would they be able to use your courses or is it to limited?
Depends on which course. I have one specifically for core mini here: gumroad.com/l/sGccV In my opinion, ZBrush Core Mini is more of an introductory tool to the full ZBrush package. It's great to get in and try things out. But if you want to do more professional work, you will eventually need to expand your toolset. For most of my content, I use the full ZBrush software and reference tools unavailable in Core Mini. You can follow along, but there will be a great deal of struggle when you simply lack the full toolset.
I think he directly export the model in high poly to blender, because it's not intended to be animated, so it's possible to do that. When I was into zbrush I use to do it
Completely off topic, you pan to a handful of anatomical figurines that are sitting on your desk. Do you have any recommendations on where to get them? I've seen them priced anywhere from $50 to $7000.
So, after watching a few other top Zbrush streamers lately, who cover similar styles, I’ve found my drive to digitally sculpt slump... but when I go back to your videos, I’m inspired to keep going. What’s your secret?!
No secrets here. Just pick up the pen and start sculpting. It's hard to get up and go for a jog, but once you're already running it easier to simply put one foot in front of the other.
I've been on the edge about making an art yt cuz I hate doing timelapse/showing my process so it's good to know people will still watch if it's just the model. Maybe I'll talk about stuff related to the character/material.

Everything you make looks so amazing all the time! How long have you been sculpting for?
everyday going on 7 years!
What material do you sculpt with?
my own custom mat, and zbro's for color!
@@Follygon Is it difficult to make custom mats? All the defaults look like digital play-dough.
When did you unwrapped the Uv's and retopolised the model, coz. That wasn't in tut

@@gibranvr8365 yeah, i suppose he did. Anywho, thnx for your response...take care😇
Como me encantaría poder imprimirla con esa cantidad de detalles seria genial
that would be awesome!

No worries! Mine are from 3DTotal. You can check them out at my gear list here: www.amazon.com/shop/follygon
What are you using to rotate your model off camera? Some kind of orb mouse or something?
just my pen!
Folly, any chances to see you add tutorials to skillshare? :C
no plans as of right now - just the tutorials on my Patreon and Gumroad at the links in the description

I kinda prefer videos that is just footage of the model with you talking over it.
I've been on the edge about making an art yt cuz I hate doing timelapse/showing my process so it's good to know people will still watch if it's just the model.
Maybe I'll talk about stuff related to the character/material.
