I started my Firefighting career in 1980 and after retiring over three decades later I cannot remember a single example of a Firefighter wanting to transfer out and become a cop. But I do not have enough fingers & toes to come close to counting the number of cops that inquired about coming over to the FD 🤣 It was funny how on fire/EMS calls cops always wanted to come over and pitch in, ask if we needed help, etc. Meanwhile on their calls where we would come and do standby we would just park a block over, sit & wait until released. There isn't enough salary in the world to make me ever want to be a cop, but even after retiring I *volunteer* at the local FD on the mountain where I live 😃
So many abandoned structures in LA....why aren't they turned into housing for the homeless?? As in proper housing. I guess it's cheaper to let them squat on abandoned properties?
That’s not Glassell Park it’s Cypress Park bottom left corner of Alice street and San Fernando RD and this not the first time it happened couple of years ago it happened at the same spot just down the street from Cypress Library on left bottom corner!!!
A homeless man would get arrested for arson. This is where a culprit wins with wrongdoing. He gets a place to sleep without worrying about the weather.
@@efunkyman6853 that courthouse serviced the locals back then.. same area same court and same place as the homes were taken.. my grandfather and some friends explained and showed me pictures.. so it’s the exact same one in the exact location as it once stood post fire…😂
Some homeless folks will literally build a fire in the middle of a room with a wood floor. It only takes one meth head to be that kind of genius. I get needing to stay warm, but if you are wealthy enough to abandon properties you might as well keep the maintenance men on staff, or tear the building down. Because tearing it down is eventually where it leads.
Why did we need aerial coverage of the fire? Couldn’t you get a drone to do that instead of flying your chopper???? Stop polluting the air we breathe. Cancel these news channels who are in the skys 24/7 for the silliest little reason.
Q: What's the difference between the police and the firefighters? A: Everyone's always glad to see the firefighters.

And that's a fact Jack 😎👍
The homeless in my small rural town has also started fires
Another good example of our pro's at LAFD handling a big problem in an organized manner.
Please. They want to blame the homeless? Who benefits? (From insurance) it’s a government building ffs
You think it was mice with matches???
This is in Cypress Park, Not Glassell Park!!!
We need to move all court cases and keep them moving as if nothing happened
Uh, they don't use that building, it's vacant. Pay attention.
F the homeless!
Please, this was for insurance. It’s been hot. No one was building a fire inside to keep warm
Wasn’t being used. Even if it was new it’s still not being used.
Jewish lightning so they can build more low income housing
Kareen "Thank YO" Wynter
As seen in the video, the entire courthouse was constructed of used car tires. Thus the black smoke.
Yeah what’s going on there
@@travisk4215 honestly, never seen that much thick black smoke from a wooden building.
“They Live” script-reading creatures. I see em all.
Evidently you don't know many roofs are covered with tar and rubber... SMH.
@@ffjsb evidently, you don't know that roofing material would burn off in about an hour. This was hours and hours.

Who is this "they" you speak of?
Why don't YOU buy them?
Why don't YOU pay to turn them into housing?

Urban renewal. This make the asbestos removal much cheaper.
a 'tired' old court house..
yah..me too..house..

Isn’t that area where home owners were forced out their homes.. back in 1950’s …?
Near there.. Chavez Ravine/Elysian Park.

Yep homeless fires again
Insurance will still investigate. I hope they get caught if it was actually the city

It is 90 degrees in LA. Staying warm?
I’m so sure they let a homeless person into their insured building
Bet my life it was homeless
Oh no if it isn’t the consequences of their voting behavior. Breathe it in, Angelenos.
They better not have had Diddy’s thing there
whatever...Im getting cheese fries ✌️
You really don't want to mess with me 😂
Ginger is a hottie.🎉
More room for homeless encampments !!!
Hooray !!
It was probably one already.

Maybe the black smoke was from the pine trees?
Pine trees put off white smoke . Ever seen a forest fire? Very powerful
Flat roof, either asphalt impregnated felt. or rubber layers.
Karma for creeps
Home runs !!!!!!!!!!!!
Dog
lololol looky how woke the LAFD is. that Jogga BC is my main Jogga!
