That tyranid paint scheme is subtle but gorgeous
How did they get -2 to hit? Did they have something to modify the BS of the nids? Because you can only -1 to hit even if you have 2 sources of -1 to hit.
Stealth and quick silver reactions for -2 with staying still while heavy +1 for a total of -1.
Are we back to stacking??
Just a minor error but the Tyrannofex does not have 3 ranged weapons, it has 2. The 20 shot gun, fleshborer hive, is replaced in this case by the Rupture Cannon
This battle was awesome, I really didn’t see a Drukhari come back at all once those objectives were saturated with nids
A request to have some 2v2 games either 1k or maybe 1,5k per person. Let's see what wacky combinations we can get. Great batrep! Those Drukhari didn't die like wet tissue paper!
See Luka, this is why you need to kidnap Skari when someone wants to play against Drukhari. And I know he's only like 45 minutes to an Hour away so it can't be that hard.
And Morrowind had SPEARS ! Most likely more common then a sword in fantasy or med evil warfare and they took out the spears in Oblivion and Skyrim ... no need for mods it should come from the heart ! RIP Spear Of Bitter Mercy ... o the range it hand with the speed of my swift Argonian can leap over head and strike from above. great game.
I think there is a big issue with lighting. the intro bit where the armies are shown is really well lit but the recording of the game is so dark! also another thing to consider is choosing terrain that doesn't blend both armies together color-wise. love you guys!

Honestly is very thematic for dark eldar (druhkari) to be good at killing nidz, all the posion and needle sharp delivery makes them ideal monster and bug clearing. Kinda hard to regenerate flesh after it interacts with anti matter and vaporizes the cells.

The limit for gaining cp in a round is strictly for abilities, discarding a card to gain a cp still works if you gain a cp from an ability Im pretty sure.

Can't you now only ever modify a roll by plus or minus 1, not 2 anymore? I believe that's a new rule in 10th edition, If so the Tyranofex would have hit the venom turn one.
Since 9th you can only modify it by net a total of +1 or -1 for Hits and Wounds, so there can be -2 but it only matters if the thing is getting positives to hit.
gotcha, i skipped ninth entirely so im only familiar with 8th and below to a point

As for the Screamer Killer when Luka asked about the costs and that he liked him i had to think about the auspex video that droped the day i watched the batrep with the caption "Does he (Screamer Killer) suck? 😅😅

I thought in the hit roll of the core rules, hit rolls cant be modified more than --/+ 1, using quicksilver reactions wouldnt have worked at the start of the game imo

yeah same, im pretty sure that is the case.
@@shadeling6717 no cause then the Tyranofex would have hit with one shot, Luca modified it by 2 making it 4s to hit, pretty sure you cant do that.
@@Temphis626 in this case because the Rupture Cannon [Heavy] base BS is 3+ the cumulative modifiers haven't impacted it by more than 1. The math was (+1) Not Moving with Heavy, (-1) Target had Stealth and (-1) Drukhari Strat Quicksilver for a cumulative -1 Hit Roll modifier, meaning Jason had to roll a 4+ to hit. It was actually a pretty interesting case and I'll have to keep this in mind when faced with attacks from Heavy weapons.
hmmm interesting, but i think the rule says no more than plus or minus one implying its one or the other? idk, definetly confusing wording. wish they had just left it alone, and let modifier be cumulative.

No.
As for the pronounciation of synapse I think it doessnt really matter. Depending on your regional dialect or country pronounciation will change anyway. The original (maybe british) pronounciation for synapse is like the i in kite.

Actually it’s entirely based on if you use American English or British English. In British it’s SAI-NAPS in American it is SIN-NAPS.
