- Testing the difference between a 16" and 8" 300 AAC/Blackout in milk jugs full of water shooting the 168 gr ELD-M and Nosler ABLR.
I do go on a bit of a rant about recent bad recommendations given by a heavily followed channel in regards to nice and quiet single shot suppressed 300 AAC/Blackout subsonic and hunting (Poacher Special) (NO I do not and never will recommend poaching). Know your bullets and their limitations and treat the animals we hunt with the respect they deserve.
16" ELD-M retained weight was 150.9, 8" 160.4, and 16" ABLR 142.4, 8" was not recovered.
Velocities will be in part 3 as I do not have the correct computer with software to put the two videos that go-pro decided to separate back into one. I really need to update my equipment. Unfortunately good equipment is not budget friendly and go-pro is not professional enough to leave my single recordings as one recording as well as me not being professional enough to bite the bullet and get new equipment. Great! Looking forward for new videos, specialy for statistics with all the bullets fired
I know they are expensive but how about cutting edge raptors?
They are a bullet I would like to test but yes the fact they are so expensive has me not that interested in getting them tested any time soon.
@@simplemindedfella you have a 7mm-08 right? I'll send you some, I just ordered 50 115gr esp, how many you need to do a video?

I prefer a dozen or so typically I can get by with less but sometimes my chronograph doesn't wanna work right or I have other mishaps it's nice to have a few too many then not enough.
