Let’s see what happens next year. Let’s get through this year.
lol this is helluva caption for a team that won on a last minute touchdown to win the game and was stuffed on nearly all but three big plays. It was heck of a ballgame. Football fans can't ask for anything better. Half time adjustments were made, both teams fought till the end. Great football. The officiating was garbage though. Shocker lol. Michigans D line has future draft picks. SC has a new O line with youngsters and one proven stud at center. And even the center was a tackle last year. Michigan did what it was supposed to do. Bullied SC though? lol barely beat them in the end. Pump the breaks with "bullied" lol. "Welcome to Big Boy football"...won by three lol.
So much butthurt in the comments: Michigan won the game, period. The entire college football world knew Michigan was going to run the ball up the middle on that last drove and USC couldn't stop it. That's smash mouth football. Game over.
I really didn’t see a lot of bullying going on. Except for three runs, Michigan couldn’t move the ball. Bullying would take place if Michigan went on long scoring drives. Didn’t happen. You really should check your facts before making inaccurate judgements.
That’s only like 5 yards per carry which is very average. 290 yards on 50 rushing attempts isn’t bad at all. College counts sacks as negative rushing yards, so if you take the sacks away USC was averaging 7 yards per carry
Bullying? That game could have went either way! Too many what if’s. Give credit to Michigan tho! Trojans should hold their head up playing in The Big House and was in a position to win. Fight On✌🏻
But they didn't. We can pretend they did though if that makes you feel better. "USC dominates Michigan in the BIG HOUSE for all 4 quarters.... 52-0" hahahahaha
Yes, doing the QB switch was huge. No film on him and that scheme. 'But Michigan always runs the ball' - First 2 games, UM passed 25 and 33 times. SC completely figured out the O by the second half. Was it 9 yards UM had before the last drive? If SC had film on Orji, they could have shut down UM all game instead of the second half.
SC is still rebuilding-Michigan played extremely well but barely won in last few seconds. Michigan is a very good team but if think a team with no passing attack will do well in the league and play offs Respectfully, I think you are wrong
This was awful. We did not get into the red zone until the final minute. While ground and pound is nice, you have to go vertical every now and then. Orgi left, Orgi right is not the answer.
Bully? Did you see the game? So many missed holding calls on all their scoring runs. Delay of games, 2 face mask, horse collar, illegal blindside block. I don’t think you actually saw the game
No you got man handled up front.. grown man football up here in the big 10. Michigan allowed to garbage TDs on broken assignments. You would have lost by 21
@tednahas8927 the whole second half is now garbage time?? Lmao talking about MANhandled.....you lot had 1 first down in the 2nd half until the last drive. Getting the ball punched up out your hands and completely dominated for 2 quarters. We didn't play perfect, we missed a big tackle...thats on us...but man handled??? Yeah someone definitely got manhandled and it definitely wasn't us lmao
Uh...you do know football is divided into 2 halves right? 190 or so rush yards allowed and 3pts at halftime....what did we miss? 290 to 96 rushing totals..Usc ran 15 more plays and the payoff was 57 yards as a result. Bully ball means trench wars...that's what we do. Passing yards is not the same...when you get moved against your will repeatedly and can do little to nothing to stop it well....we'll let you give it any name you like today.
Bullies? They won by 3 points. One play would’ve decided that game. I think USC did a pretty darn good job against the defending national champions on their turf considering how they were last year. Next time USC plays them at a neutral stadium, they’ll win. Hats off to Michigan and their running game though. Defense stood up, and they’re a very well coached program. Other than that Until the breakthrough run Michigan had 0 first downs and a total of 9 yards in the second half. So yes for those 3 plays they beat SC, but if you ask Michigan football fans at the Big House they will tell you that they thought until the big run, they that SC was dominating Michigan at that point and SC would be winning that game and were booing their own team.

Talk about the refs lmao, 2x blatant missed facemask calls, delay of game of game penalties all around, refs were fucking atrocious, Michigan can’t win without extreme preferable treatment from all ranges of CFB administration
Absolutely, it was so egregious. Quite simply, UM doesn't win without the refs. I know no UM fan wants to hear it, but it is true. 2 missed delay of games, missed facemask, missed horsecollar, gifted 4th down conversion (that was a 14 pt swing), UM OL full on tackling SC DL, missed holding in the secondary. I mean come on! There was have been over 100 yards of missed calls. .
@DOOMSTARKS-ib4fl You mean horrible officiating? Are you really denying blatant not calls. Also forgot the uncalled blindside that sent a player to the hospital. Homecooking almost as bad as ND. Will UM get a 5th down next game at the big house?

I agree, they should move edwards to WR. Give him the ball with a little space in front of him and he picks up serious yards. Since they don’t have a big selection of WR right now and Mullings is doing great at RB, shift edwards with Morgan to WR and with Loveland you get 3 good athletes that can make something happen. Michigans offense in the second half was looking abysmal with no first downs and only 9 total yards until Mullings said “hold my beer” and put the team on his back for your only first down that half to win it.
Yall barely won at home by 3 points.
@@johnnutt1323true, The Michigan offense got three big breaks. But then again, USC got two of their touchdowns courtesy of really short fields off turnovers by Michigan. So the luck factor helped both sides in the game. Michigan just had a bit more. 😂.
Our WR room is not acceptable at a power 5 school. It is that bad. Changes should probably be made this offseason.
If Orji can pass at all, even simple stuff like the Okey doke, they will be dangerous.
I still can't figure them out. Especially after what Iowa State did to Arkansas State.
Alex Orji and Kalel Mullings are the Smash Brothers.
Watch Orji’s high school highlights I can not believe how he could pass like that then and we can’t coach him to be a great passer!
he was 50% passing guy in highschool, windows are tighter, games faster. it makes sense that he can’t do as much in college
Look Orji guided the team to a win. The teams biggest win of the season thus far and gave mistake free football. Davis Warren gave up the ball with multiple interceptions this season and ppl said give him time. Why can’t we give Orji the same time. Stop being Orji haters. It think he is going to surprise the doubters. Go Blue !
If Warren was the starter we probably lose that game lol
We look horrible passing the ball. I can only hope for next year with Jadyn Davis. Its clear both of our options this year ain’t it
W who cares how we get it

@@johnpeterson2335 no they don’t …. Not even JJ was ready to start his freshman year
Happy as I'am with the win, UofM is in trouble, basically we got John O'korn for qb, absolutely unreal how a program like UofM hasn't got a better qb then that, this is on Moore and Harbaugh, inexcusable, and NO it is by no means sustainable.
Its easier to win games running the ball if you have the personnel. You eat up more clock and there is less chance of turnovers. The problem is will the O-line get good enough to impose a run game on defenses better than USC's?
Also a fan, with two addendums: we would feel BLESSED to have okorn walk through those doors with one year of eligibility rn and 2) Jack Tuttle may still have something to say, don’t give up on him yet!
@JimFG Ha, yes, I think your right on that, sad but true. Jack Tuttle, come on down.
As a die hard Wolverines fan, I'm happy with the win, but, my God, 32 yards passing is beyond pathetic. This is certainly not a formula to be a real contender in the long run.
Agree. It’s not even a formula to avoid getting upset by Sparty…
@JimFG Michigan should beat Farty ghetto ass state even with Orji throwing under 50 yards
BULLY FOOTBALL....HAIL TO THE VICTOR AND THE CHAMPIONS 🏆
UM ONLY needed 32 yards passing to Win
Would've been different "if" LR started Jaden Maiava, He's very mobile and can get away from some of the mad rushes by UM
Miller Moss is a Sitting Duck
I hope we blow out Minnesota in the first half so Alex can get 10-15+ reps throwing in the second... that would be hugely helpful, especially against a real power 5 defense.
Lot of season left ..beat sparty and Ohio state I'll be thrilled
2:12 I think I quarterback is not terrible at drawing. He’s not JJ but those receivers were not getting open. I also think Michigan Michigan can be more of a ball team, but they don’t have the right trigger and process right now. They have some top 150 guys coming in a quarterback.
Big win. Michigan Football. Go Blue SMASH!
Reading comments from indignant USC fans is icing on the cake. 😂
USC had 3 touchdowns. 2 of them were from defensives busts.
Where's the jet sweeps🤷
The oline is starting to gel. That is important
SC O line was pathetic in the first half kinda decent in the second half . Defense giving up 290 yards on ground is a problem
That’s only like 5 yards per carry which is very average. 290 yards on 50 rushing attempts isn’t bad at all. College counts sacks as negative rushing yards, so if you take the sacks away USC was averaging 7 yards per carry
@@Thedog9 yes SC was playing bend but don’t break but they broke around three times and it cost them

Michigan’s offense looks like 95 Nebraska
They won the natty that year
If USC played the first half just like the second half we would be having a whole different conversation.
But they didn't. We can pretend they did though if that makes you feel better. "USC dominates Michigan in the BIG HOUSE for all 4 quarters.... 52-0" hahahahaha
Uh oh here we have the Wolverine fans that were on their knees praying for the 4 down and touchdown with 1 minute left in the game.
They were playing without a tight end, their normal first option.
This was awful. We did not get into the red zone until the final minute. While ground and pound is nice, you have to go vertical every now and then. Orgi left, Orgi right is not the answer.
It seemed like it was the answer for a win. You must like losing
Bully? Did you see the game? So many missed holding calls on all their scoring runs. Delay of games, 2 face mask, horse collar, illegal blindside block. I don’t think you actually saw the game

Yeah someone definitely got manhandled and it definitely wasn't us lmao
That was NOT smash mouth football. Did you not watch the 2nd half? 9 yards, zero 1st downs until the last drive.
I wish them nothing but the best in their season.
Not a sore loser by any means however, I counted seven missed calls by the refs from blind side block to delay of game to face mask SMH.

This loss is going to propel USC to a 10-2 season with a third place in Big Ten into playoffs.

Bring the run game every game all year. Just need a deeper defense. Go blue
Well it's BS that SC was bullied. True for Michigan's D line. Not true for SC's D line. 3 offensive plays with missed tackles was it plus a pic 6 which was a dumb play by Branch and Moss.
Good win for UM be we left it in the hands of the refs should’ve played better on offense hope to run it back in the conference championship game.

290 on the ground. If they bully Texas like that, they have a chance to win that game too
Turnovers and not being able to get off the field on 3rd down put Michigan behind too much, too fast. They abandoned the run early
But they won't bully Texas like that. Because Texas isn't a fraud like USC. 😂
Give USC credit for holding Orji to 32 passing yards. Their run defense was not enough, but clearly they're pass defense is much improved.

So, all of sudden USC is out and Michigan is in because of one game! When are we going to stop this knee jerk reactions.!
This isn’t knee jerk. Michigan has the players and if Michigan and USC both win out Michigan owns the tie-breaker, and if Michigan had a pulse through the air this game would not have been close.

@@BicycleRestorationMan and if Michigan didn’t fumble away a fumble recovery or have a missed coverage, or fumble in the fourth they would have blown them out. It’s not a knee jerk reaction to establish that Michigan can run the ball on anyone they want, and like the dude said IF they go 10-2 (meaning he still thinks they will lose one) they can make the playoffs. As a Michigan fan, I am not scared of one team in the country. Especially, Ohio State. Michigan still has a trench advantage and the players to get it done. Their problem is coaching and reps. They will get better. USC is a good football team, but they were the favorites and looked the opposite in the first half. Michigan showed they specialize in running. Teams gotta stop them too and if they stay healthy then good luck to the rest of the league. If they throw for 33 yards and get a dub next week that’s a win for the passing game and win for the jug.

There was have been over 100 yards of missed calls. .

If you gotta cry about the refs, you probably lost.
Morgan and Edwards need the ball in space. Fast, technical players who need to be better integrated into the offense for it to significantly improve.
