Purchased the compensator for my klutzy-looking LE several months ago, but you were out of 12 gram CO2 adaptors. You sent me an E-Mail last week that you had 12 gram adapters in, and I ordered one ASAP. It came in two days ago, and I brought up your excellent very helpful install video and got to it. Removing the old CO2 adapter gave me some fits because I was too gentle, and I think it got hung up on a screw that I ended up backing all the way out. In the end, I got the CO2 adapter and compensator installed, put my laser on the rail, and shot a 7-round magazine from the LE for the first time ever, and everything worked. It tore 68 caliber holes in a metal can like nobody's business. Thanks for your excellent product and videos that fix Byrna's very poor engineering decision to release that LE with such a screwed up accessory rail design.
Are the LE compensators and 12gram adapters now available? I’m seeing on your website that you are sold out? I’d also like to purchase the quick CO2 cap. Thanks!@@mercylesslethal6039
@@mercylesslethal6039 I'd like to know when new MLL parts will be coming back into stock. I'd like to upgrade my LE so I can gain the normal railing back for my Laser/Light. Great video and great product. Can't wait to get some numbers up with this puppy. I had mine installed before the video was over, lol. Super easy. Looks fantastic.
I just ordered one. Byrna makes a 12 gram adapter however, you would no longer be able to use the fitted holster. Thanks for the product as well as the straight forward video.
If you bought the Byrna SD-XL it comes with the Byrna Boost 12 gram CO2 adapter pre installed. But what you don’t see is that it also comes with the extended barrel. When you remove the Boost adapter you will then see the longer barrel. That threw me off when I first saw it, but I went ahead and did the instal anyway. When completed the adapter will be the same length as the barrel. I don’t see this as a problem for the function of the Byrna.

Hey, so the adapter can be purchased at our website Mercy Less Lethal .com and the adapter will allow you to use standard sized 12 gram co2 in the Byrna which is easier to find locally and increases the power output of the launcher.
thank you for sharing. I have a question. Is it water resistant if it rains.? And for example: may I pass through a metal detector while entering Airport?
I would say “water resistant” is accurate. I wouldn’t submerge it but it’s mostly polymer with some aluminum internals so it should be fine in rain. I wouldn’t think you could get it through a metal detector though as the trigger assembly is steel.
Charles, I watched DK videos and seems to increase the fps. I will look into ordering after the hollidays. Do, know the the size of allen key to adjust the velocity screw? The rod that connects your trigger to the back of the firing mechanism is probably not connected. Look inside the mag well and you should see the rod move on the side when you pull the trigger. You’ll need a bright light and look closely it’s hard to see, it’s just a flat piece of metal about 1/4” tall.

Makes no difference if using 8 oz or 12 oz, Most encounters happen within less than 10 feet, this is statistical data that can be researched.
