And still he blows everyone out of the water. it nearly made me jump to my feet and dance like crazy. And I am in a wheelchair. hehe. And Cindy is a marvellous drummer. I want to thank all involved in this video, because you all hit it and were tight! Next, I want to thank those behind this wonderful, necessary project Playing For Change, because our world needs now more than ever. Lastly to my king of strings Carlos Santana; I saw you at Tanglewood when you and your band were touring your debut album with the lions head Santana. I was 14 years old and what you did on stage that day was put me on a long road of many great years as a lead guitarist in Bar bands. I cherish every moment I can remember. So thank you Carlos Santana and of course Santana for that gift to me, because music changes everything and makes good things happen.

I have a few things to add to my original comment. 1. I would die a happy man if Cindy Blackman ever played a set with me in any jazz setting I was in. I have been a fan of hers for a long time. She does not get the recognition she deserves. 2. Carlos Santana is a GREAT session musician. 3. Wilkenfeld's bass lines are FANTASTIC! I have listened to this about 15 ties and hear something new in her lines EACH time. Was she on some School of Rock videos? 4. The people in this video should tour together. This is the best Playing for Change video out there tight now. Great sound, great musicians,, great tunes, great groove, great video.

Honestly there are no words to describe just how wonderful this version of Oye Como Va sounds. The original studio version and the live version from the Supernatural Live Tour are my 2 other favorite versions. EVERY ONE of these musicians and singers were AMAZING. I must say that Becky G has the voice of an angel and her harmonies back that up all day long. My hat goes off to everyone who contributed to this song and came up with the idea to make it a reality.
About 6 or 7 years ago, I was lucky enough to see Santana & Rod Stewart tour together. It was something I will NEVER forget. I just hope that someday I get to meet Carlos in person.

So awesome to see Tito, Jr. killing it on his father's own composition. Reminds me of watching Jason Bonham at the Led Zep induction, and Robert Plant tearing up watching Bonzo's son stepping in for his dad.
