If you have AMD processor you cant VM mac anymore, apple put something that know what cpu you really have and cant fool now, the people of the Unlocker say the fix now works for Intel only

Thanks! After DAYS trying, this is the first tutorial that really works... I'm using Windows 10, and VMWare 17.6. The only problem that I don't know how to fix: the Safari is strange, the texts show for some minutes and after go "blank". I can scroll, see images and so... like something changed all texts to "white". But, anyway, I've installed Chrome and works fine on it.

It's not letting me click continue after I do the erase disk step and click on Install macOS 14 beta. I can click the continue button but it doesn't change the screen or actually continue anything.
An impressive guide - well done. Even after installing the Vmware tools - i cannot change display / resolution from within MacOS Sonoma. I have "Display 128mb" I can change Desktop dimensions in VMware config but MacOS Display > Screen Resolution shows unknown Display, 1024*768 (Default). If i Show all resolutions - no change. Internet is working and I used Clover to successfully make changes configuration but cannot find a way to Screen Resolution. Else very impressed! BTW - Why do you choose iMacPro1.1 ? Does it have an effect of anything as I am testing this on a Lenovo Laptop Thanks
I was also having the problem where it would bootloop to "error your computer is restart beuase of problems", this was the fix i used for me, as a preface I AM ON AN INTEL PROCESSOR, idk if this will work for AMD. So when it boot looped i went into the config file and removed the edited SMBIOS part and then it let me boot into the OS, i then went into the clover configurator and selected the one for iMac20,2, and i copied the board-id and generated a new serial and the copied the MLB and generated that ROM just like the steps in the tutorial, then i pasted it right after firmware = "efi" in the vmx configuration file, making sure to change the mac address and the generated address just like the video. After i did that i was able to boot into it AND the new serial was shown. For example, this is what my SMBIOS looked like board-id = "Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94" hw.model.reflectHost = "FALSE" hw.model = "iMacPro1,1" serialNumber.reflectHost = "FALSE" serialNumber = "C02CGVZJ046M" smbios.reflectHost = "FALSE" efi.nvram.var.ROM.reflectHost = "FALSE" efi.nvram.var.MLB.reflectHost = "FALSE" efi.nvram.var.ROM = "5944EF0AC2DD" efi.nvram.var.MLB = "C02012405GU0000UE"

@@Ammarx1 Suggest to have the ISO on a separate drive, around 12 minutes it does lag a bit and depending on your cpu it will take a bit. Open your task manager and go to your drives, if all your drives show 0% then just wait and watch and you will see incremental read/write, as long as you show that then it will work eventually

@@sethzwicker3631 its due to low video memory, install vmware tools and try to use on minimal resolutions like 720p, it works fine, lags are due to insufficient video memory.
Where Did You Write SMBIOS ( In Description ) ? Make sure you have written it as the last code in the VMX file and that there is an empty line. Do You Have An Intel Or AMD CPU ?

i have been trying to install macos sonoma on vmware and virtualbox but i got a lot of errors and i tried to fix them and it didn't work.

I have xps 15 with i7 7700HQ 16 gigs of ram, i followed your instructions but its stuck in bootloop of "Your computer restarted cause of problem", it doesnt go any far and restarts about every 5 seconds, can anyone guide whats the issue?

@@sethzwicker3631so turns out probably something wrong with this sonoma image. I installed ventura successfully couple of days ago. It works fine.
@@himalayanoutpost Yes, Ventura "works" on mine but it's excruciatingly slow.
@@sethzwicker3631 its due to low video memory, install vmware tools and try to use on minimal resolutions like 720p, it works fine, lags are due to insufficient video memory.
Each time I try to install MacOS using VMWARE it says Processor doesn't support XSAVE

Where Did You Write SMBIOS ( In Description ) ? Make sure you have written it as the last code in the VMX file and that there is an empty line.

SSD: ADATA XPG SPECTRIX S40G RGB 256 GB
HDD: WESTERN DIGITAL BLUE 1 TB
MOTHERBOARD: ASROCK B450M STEEL LEGEND
I set the ram to 8 GB (8192 MB) and 4 cores in the VM, is there a fix for this?

Keep getting "No Media errors" then it wants to go to a BIOS like screen. Can't do jack squat. Now I think I know why I prefer Linux and windows. :/
