Love the platform. Two things popped into my head while watching one was maybe set a pully system above you so you can raise and lower your bag when you need it but keep it out of the way when you don't. The other is sweep is a very underrated fish nice white firm flesh tastes a bit like whiting they're just a prick to clean. If you're just going to fillet and skin then even easier. I recommend you do try it such an easy fish to catch.

I have done some rope access rescue training in my fire service career but hats off to you mate, I was playing at it compared to what you are doing. Back then all we had was a personal karabiner and small pocket line to make up our sling along with a 100ft rescue line. We used both Neil Robertson and Paraguard stretchers back in the 70's but none of the high tech stuff they use now. Funnily enough I always had the utmost confidence in even the most basic of equipment due to stringent testing or perhaps we're all just mad (it does help) at that age. I never mixed rope work with fishing though. I like to see it dne properly and by heck, you are the master.

Ballsy effort matey. I'd recommend 6-8 mm Dyneema for the platform because you can then leave it there. Does not degrade with continuous UV exposure nor by salt water. No stretch. Unbreakable. Very steady.
