Thank you for watching
I just got a princess persimmons! Very excited
female or male? share the photo!
Finally someone local with princess persimmon. I've been trying to find watering and sunlight info all over the internet. I've been getting contradicting info from all over. Your princess looks nice and healthy, so I feel like you'd know the answers.
They pretty much a basic fruit tree. Moist, well draining soil. 6-8hours direct sunlight. Shade in the afternoon or the leaves and fruit will burn or darken.
@@BaikoenBonsai Interesting. I'll find a shady spot for the girl. I'll keep her moist, but I'm worried because one of the things I hear is they're susceptible to fungus and to keep the soil barely damp. I'll step it up, but try to be delicate.
I found styrofoam in my soil. maybe that's what's helping waterlog it...
Wow 10$ bigei, lucky find
I was floored when I found out how much I paid for it.
You can say that again I've been looking around to buy one and nobody really has princess persimmons for sale. Hope you are propagation is successful
Its almost always a 100%
How often do you water it? I'm in north California I just got one and I would like to know how often should water it.
Depends on the soil mix and temperature. They usually don’t like to be dry. I water once a day unless the soil is still moist. Summer 2x and 100+ heat days. 3x. But just to keep the humidity high
