- Larkin Poe is an American roots rock band originally from north Georgia and currently from Nashville, Tennessee fronted by sisters Rebecca Lovell and Megan Lovell. Featuring strong southern harmonies, heavy electric guitar riffs, and slide guitar, they are often touted as "the little sisters of the Allman Brothers".

Damn straight. My neighbors actually like it when I go over and play and sing. They would lose their minds if this talent showed up. Larkin Poe is great!
My next door neighbors are lead singers & instrumentalists in a great local band here on Maui. Their music drifts thru my window all the time. They've done 2 livestream shows in last couple of months-- in the big field right across from our houses. I'm so blessed! Larkin Poe is in my top 10 favorite bands of all time.

Major Frank Vozak, US Army Retired and a 44 year retired employee at a VA Hospital, the nephew of a
WWII Navy Aircraft Radio Operator lost at sea in the war and a Sargeant Father who crossed No Africa and Italy during WWII (dad was drafted in December 1940-with the initial military draft in the US preparing for WWIII These young women are excellent musicians and have beautiful voices but do they compare to Bonnie Raitt, Big Momma Thorton, BB King, Eric Clapton, Butterfield Blues Band, the Al Kooper Super sessions, Buddy Guy.... But really I thank this two youn g women for dedicating this concert to people in the military and vets.
Frank Vozak...Army veteran here, son of a WWII Navy veteran, father of a Navy veteran and brother of a retired Navy Captain. Thank you for your service. The girls are standing on the shoulders of all the great artists that you mentioned...as they are always quick to mention. The common thread of all those seminal artists is that...those that are still alive...like me, are north of 70. Megan has barely cracked her 30s, and Rebecca is close on her heels. Let’s give them a few more decades to see how many other that they will have influenced. Having met the sisters and marveled at their live performances, I’m just glad that they brighten my world.

I discovered the Lovell Sisters 4 years ago. Since then, they became the most important part of my playlist. And I can't get over it. Yet I'm a huge fan of the Rainbow Girls and their dear friends Mr John Craigie and the California Honeydrops, of Andrew Marlin and his wife, Emily Frantz, of Rachael Price and her lovely friends from the Lake Street Dive, of Mr Rateliff & his Night Sweats and their Eric Burdon look-alike, and of so many others like the Brothers Comatose and AJ Lee. Not to mention the Tedeschi Trucks Band, etc ...
