Used to listen to the Graham Bond Organisation doing this old classic in the 60"s- needs the amazing sax of Dick Heckstall-Smith but still a pretty wonderful cover from the most talented ladies around with their blues base. Saw them at Bristol -what a show!! Thanks girls.

GBO was one of my favourite bands way back when.....did the drummer and bass player ever go on to do anything? The music that these girls produce, along with the girls themselves, is simply stunning. One of my new favourite bands.

I had not heard this song till I discovered Eva Cassidy around 20 years ago. i believe she would have loved these two.
I first had it on Harvey Mandel's LP "Christo Redentor" in the sixties. Always liked that track the best. Larkin Poe were a surprise, a very pleasant surprise indeed.
