The things Ren does with his voice -- it's freaking unbelievable. Blues, be-bop, psychedelic, glam, torch diva, beat poet, ska, blister rap.. and it all fits together so seamlessly. And then there's the fret work -- goodness knows. What a gift.
" Fingers born to play, soul born to sing, heart born to love. " ....but then these guys took up a journeyman craft, went to work, and got SUPREMELY good at it. Never a god was born; they're all made. PS: Mortal men can't rip the tears out of me like these dudes just did. NOW i believe.

Oh, he isn't so raw. He's a pretty well trained talent, Been playing guitar since he was a little kid and his mother was a singing teacher and Thirty-three-year-old Ren, whose full name is Ren Erin Gill, was originally born in Bangor, Gwynedd in North-West Wales, before moving to the island of Anglesey, just off the coast of North Wales. He then went on to study at Bath Spa University’s Newton Park Campus, honing his skills as a budding songwriter, musician, producer, and rapper. whoa calm down boy. yeah he got talent, but the best ever is not that simple
@@Gutss001 Anyone can achieve this at the crossroads I have heard, but fuck that! These boys have soul!
@@Gutss001 short life sentence and shit loads of drug abuse gives you a lot of points towards that (Janis, Hendrix, Elvis, Cobain, Amy "PetrolHouse", etc.)
If he sells his life yeah best chance like anyone willing to sell they're body
I absolutely love the bass play. They are a talented group and should be known far greater then they are at the moment.
These guys are so talented. Love the energy that they bring.
Why do they not have a mega record deal? [Because music execs wouldn't know good music if it bit them on the bum] Thank goodness for youtube.
He was signed to Sony ,they dropped him because of his illness glad they did ,everything happens for a reason. He doesn't need a big label they probably wouldn't let him bring out numbers like sick boi or hi Ren etc.
@@Dizle81pure and utter ignorance. Those execs deserve a good bitch slapping.
Ren is especially talented. Geniuses, savants and prodigies are often on a spectrum.
Like the maths genius who was portrayed by Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind as an extreme example.
Ren is hugely popular so I hope he's well compensated.
I...

God I miss playing and you bring back all the passion for me!!!

@@Zimityy the lead singer looks like the Thomas Shelby, played by actor Cillian Murphy from the hit show - "Peaky Blinders"

setibamrahk aw thank you 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Wow, been down this rabbit hole for a while. Started with “ Hi Ren”, Sic Boi, Hunger, etc, but there is no right order for this journey, & it feels like such a personal journey, as if your on it with Ren, & co. Massive ups re the one take videos, incredible, creative, & at 58, who loves finding new artists, & having eclectic taste, this guy, is able to cross genres, has no boundaries, a talent that was born, not made, & maybe refined on the street. Who does that? I can’t think of a single one!! Mind blowing. Really love the political stuff too!!♥️♥️♥️♥️
im on the same journey with him, uplifting isnt it ..
@@chrisbarker9852 yeah, not how I usually find new sounds!🤣
I think a lot of people are doing the same, I also found Ren from “Hi Ren.”
The talent in this art piece blows my mind.
