Brighton based band The Big Push consists of three front men Ren, Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall and drummer Glenn Chambers. Drawing elements from classic brit-bands like The Beatles or The Police, they craft their clever modern arrangements into catchy pop tunes. Playing rock n roll, with a crazed kind of energy and authentic sound, The Big Push met busking in Brighton. Coming from four fairly different backgrounds, they have managed to create an authentic and original sound.
The four-piece sold out their first ever official hometown show at Chalk last October, and followed up with a full-capacity o2 Academy Islington headline in March 2020, just before lockdown hit the UK. Over the last year the boys have created quite a buzz both nationally and to more worldwide acclaim amassing over 1.2 Million streams on Spotify and 12 Million views on RUclips. Having achieved such staggering success online, their fanbase now reaches across the world.

There are some bands performing on the biggest stages in the world and they still can't match the energy these guys bring on the corner of the street. Way underrated
This is EXACTLY what the world needs again. Rock and Roll! Played by humans with instruments!!!!! So proud of this generation for trying to bring it back. It WILL be back!
You know that Ren has made a large part of his music on a computer, right? And that it sounds absolutely smashing, and that just because we like something, we don't need to belittle something else, right?
Sometimes u don't see the jewels that are hidden from ur spot many reasons one possible was ignorance but there are a lot other too
Ren is incredibly and all talents i saw perform with him too very talented.
@Thøger Emil Rivera-Thorsen The majority of Ren's material that has earned him his recognition has been instrument based. All of his performances are instrument based. I haven't reallt been looking, but I haven't seen live perfomances of computer based music get a random crowd to form in a public space and let loose like this (EDM concerts and dancing in a club are a different case stud IMO). And there does not seem to be much arguments against the common notion that instrument based music has been dying off over the years.
So with all of this said, I personally feel like praising the special artists and performers who are successfully defying the odds and helping to keep instrument based music alive in the hearts of more people is fair and acceptable. I don't disagree with the notion though of blanket bashing of other forms of music is not fair. That said, I do support disapproving of music that is lacking soul, passion, creativity, meaningful artistic expression, etc. I think it is fair to say that electronic music is overwhelmingly guity of these issues, but there is definitely a concerning about of modern rock, country, and other instrument based music also suffers from the same consequences. Taking a step back, the issues that I have stem more from mainstream music, irrespective of genre, which then points more towards issues with society and the music industry more than anything else.
Sorry for the rant. Kind of wanted to defend both sides a bit. Keep on enjoying everything that makes you happy my friend!

When Ren gets healthy, can we for Gods sakes get a reunion and a studio album……maybe?! It’s a shame to leave the world with out the possible art that would leak out of you gentlemen. I’ve been a touring guitarist and I understand the head butting that goes on, but don’t deprive us of greatness

Yea really surprised a label hasn’t taken a chance on these guys! You can tell they would be a great touring band! If they have any original music that just good, not great, they’re gonna go places. I think they need to start touring and try to never play the same set list twice in a row. Try to grow their catalog of songs rather large even if lots are covers…then tour so their fanbase can travel around going to their shows and will be intrigued to keep coming back if every show is different songs ya know.

I hope Ren sees this comment. The greatest thing you could do right now, if your treatment allows you to get back up on stage. Is to do a tour with you Ren as the guest band, and then the Big Push as the main act. Many years ago, we had Robert Plant come out as the guest band with the Honey Drippers, and then Robert Plant and his band as the main band. It would be so amazing......I should have mentioned an American tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A record label needs to sign this band or somebody needs to give them a legit push! I think they could be really BIG if they have any original music that’s just good, doesn’t even have to be great! They have a great presence and would be awesome live if they started touring. Sure they would build a large fanbase rather quickly by touring!

I just realized Ren plays bass as well.
And piano! A bit of drums too. Also produced many of his video own video clips! check his Losing it a Fisher retake on his channel, he filmed and did all the production. Huge talent!
