All the scientists broke character. Mikey obviously broke character, you can see Sam pressing his lips together trying not to laugh/smile, and Melissa behind the glass smiles for a moment. I love it when this happens.

The sandwich thing just killed me. I love the fact that when people tend to break on the show, they turn upstage so the audience can't see them, which is usually a good strategy unless that's exactly where the thing making you break is, you know, eating a sandwich and rubbing its belly.

I went to the Meet The Breeds show yesterday and when I got to the Golden retriever booth, who should be there but this dog! I didn't know until his handler told me that he had been on Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago.
Yep, I met a celebrity. He was very friendly and polite, not at all stuck-up. Unfortunately, he couldn't sign me an autograph. 😀

I think to show the power balance. The visitors are inspectors that get to shut down the work if they don't approve. BTW Cecily's reaction is perfect.

I think that was intentional. They threw off the audince, so the dog was all the more weird.
I thought it was just to establish that he was a sexist asshole who thought that their guide talked too much while doing her job of... you know... talking. I was under the impression it was just to add color.

Mikey Day's breaking makes his character seem more excited about the project. It works for the character.
