    Awesome video!!! Thanks for all the diagnostic help. I found a bad throttle switch on my E-200, no continuity on the brown wires with throttle turned. I will be ordering from you guys tonight. I just want everyone out there watching to know, it takes a lot of time and patience to show step by step how to diagnose a problem correctly and not just throwing parts at it. I work on cars, trucks and small engines and this scooter was kicking my butt!! These are the company's we must buy from!! There not just selling product, there helping us troubleshoot the problem step by step like professionals!! Thanks so much guys! Vito

    Excellent Video. Unfortunately, I do not think my problem is addressed here. I've installed new lithium batteries and bought a new charger. The batteries are charged. When my grandson (70 pounds) rides it, it will go about 200 feet then completely stop. Turn the on/off switch off then on again, it will run for another 100 or so feet then stop. I then put in on a bench with no load (wheel off the ground), it ran for over 50 minutes before I stopped it. I called Razor, tech support was useless. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Wheel spins with throttle when off the ground. Any weight on it and it doesn't want to move. If on scooter and push to get it going will still barely move. How do you do the secret trick to test the throttle on a Version 1 Razor Sport Mod? It has 5 wires. I tried the clip the way you did in the connector and got nothing, but maybe 5 wire variable throttles won't react the same as the 4 wire that you did in video? I can jump from battery to motor direct and the motor runs fine. I tested EVERYTHING you did in the video, and I replaced the controller AND the throttle and I still got nothing! I'm going to scrap it/give it away but in case anyone reads this post I may be able to save it. I've been through the schematics, I've tried so many things I am out of ideas except for the current thought: You can't do the special throttle trick on the 5 wire sport mod (variable throttle) AND I bought a faulty throttle OR faulty controller and don't know which...... But one thing for sure---backprobing the connector for the throttle, I have voltage to the throttle and different voltages in the connector, NONE will change value when twisting the throttle. They stay the same! So I figure it's the throttle.

      The issue in all these cases is almost 100% batteries. Even new, there could be an issue. If one is low and the other is fully charged the low one will hold back the scooter and never fully charge. Other than that the only issue it could be is tire pressure! Yes, its that important on these! I weigh 173 and with me on an E300 with a low tire it will barely move!

      Sounds like there is somthing causing extreme load on the motor. Does thw wheel spin freely? Are you overloading the scooter?

    I have this battery tester: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BOBZJ0/
    Can I still test the circuit breaker with it? (mine doesn't beep that I'm aware of. It is analog so the needle goes to red or green if battery is good/bad) I ruled out bad batteries or at least the tester indicates the batteries are good. Our E300 scooter clicks but that is it. wanting to test the circuit breaker. Pushing the reset button in, it doesn't stay in. Is it supposed to? What do I need to buy to test the circuit breaker? I don't see a continuity option on my battery tester.

      @Detura 4 года назад

      @@WildPowerSports he means to have each section of the video where you troubleshoot each part, separated by time stamps by putting the beginning time for each segment in the description. So for example:
      battery troubleshooting: 1:00
      Throttle troubleshooting: 5:00
      Motor troubleshooting: 8:00
      Something like that

    This is my first scooter and probably the best toy I've had in my 38 years of life ; ) ruclips.net/user/postUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM The assembly was easy - Took me 10-12 mins to get it set up and enjoy a quick ride before putting it on the charger for the full charge.I love the push-off feature vs. some of the other scooters that start with direct acceleration. I believe this allows a bit more of a stable start with a jerk reaction. I also like the throttle/acceleration feature that its a slow increase in speed vs. what you would get in a motorcycle. I've taken advantage of the anti-theft system when taking the scooter out to the beach and city. I like the anti-theft system as well as the need to enter a code after you turn it on before you can operate. The powerful front lights are helpful for a night ride. You can see in the picture how powerful the light is as a reflection on the garage. I'm impressed with the lightweight and how easy it was for me to get it set up and going. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a scooter.

    Question: on my scooter when I charge the battery there is a strong sulfur smell. The batteries were swollen so I replaced them. When I charged the new batteries I got the same sulfur smell. Could it be the AC charger?
