You're welcome. You are an amazing source of knowledge not only about juicing, but about gardening as well. My wife is a big fan of Growing Your Greens - there is so much good advice there. Yeah the Santos is really nice - we just got our own in stock (not the demo unit) and it is nice to finally see a slow juicer with stainless steel juicing parts and a variable speed motor. Looking forward to your review of it when it becomes available there.
What is the warranty on this machine? I bought a Pure Juicer two stage cold press and love it. I’m looking for a masticating juicer too and am very impressed by this. I live in California and am wondering if this is available here in the states. Thank you
The warranty will vary by region. Commercial machines typically have a much shorter warranty - usually 1-2 years - due to their high volume of use. In Europe, the warranty is 5 years on the motor and 1 year on parts. You can contact the US distributor with the informaiton here: www.santosjuicers.com/en/products/fresh-drinks/coldpressjuicer/coldpressjuicer/65/

@@rsbem777qcom We had a very limited time to test this, and are hoping to receive another unit soon for testing. Based on our limited tests, I would say the Super Angel would get significantly higher yield. I haven't seen a schematic for the motor, but my guess, based on the design and shape, is a belt driven top motor.
@@euJUICERScom Thanks for the reply. Hopefully Santos can make this as efficient as the Super Angel. I really dislike the fact that the super angel has such a narrow opening on the input chute.
Hello. Thanks for the great video. I have one significant question. How many hours the nutrisantos can work without stopping to clean or rest the motor? Thanks again.
Santos recommends a ten-minute on, ten-minute off cycle. You can download the user manual with all the details here: www.santos.fr/media/ftp/Users_manuals/EN_English/SANTOS_65-manu-EN-last.pdf
@@euJUICERScom This equipment is intended for commercial use. And you say the working cycle is 10 minutes ((( Are you serious? Put an asynchronous engine and it will be possible to work 24 hours. Moreover, such an engine costs almost as much. Your equipment is not cheap, so you can make it better.
@@hjsg-gddtoy We had the same question and contacted the manufacturer (Santos). Their reply: "We have to put this in the user manual for the international standards (ex: UL, GS...). But in reality, you can use the machine for a longer time. Moreover, there is a motor protection. So, if the machine is really used to much and overheats, it will simply stop until it cools down, but there will be no damage. There is no maximum recommended time, however please note that this machine is not an industrial cold press juicer #65 and is not adapted to people who make cold press juices in bottles with a continuous all-day production. It is dedicated to juice bars, restaurants who make cold pressed juice on-demand."
Man! you make great reviews. Can you make one about the most sturdy masticating juicers?? because after spending a week investigating the matter, i found out that Omega is a expensive machine made with garbage plastic parts.
You can slow down the speed of the upper feeding tube. That will allow the auger more time to process the carrots. You can also cut larger carrots into smaller pieces. Mint and spinach and other small leafy greens can get stuck to the side of any feeding tube. If you follow it up with something larger like a piece of carrot or apple it should help push it through.
Hi Denis. Most any produce is pretty easy in this machine, including pineapple, because of the large opening and big auger. One nice factor regarding pineapple is that the speed on the feed chute can be slowed down, since pineapple is very fibrous and can back up if juiced too quickly.
You're welcome. There isn't really any juicer which will handle unpeeled fruits besides dedicated citrus juicers. However, most fruits don't need to be peeled except for fruits with thick or tough skin like pineapples, citrus, mango, passionfruit, and kiwi (although my colleague juices kiwi and melon with the skin on, but they are organic). Even a high-end press like the PURE or Norwalk requires ingredients to be ground first which is best without thick skins or rinds.
I’m buying a juicer for my soon to be open restaurant. I’m hesitated with the Miracle 68 and this one. I know this one is better nutritionally but I’m not sure if it will be fast enough to make a juice for customers... Any thoughts?
It depends on how much juice you plan to serve, the produce you plan to juice, and if you plan to make some juice beforehand. The Miracle 68 is definitely faster since it is centrifugal, but the juice will need to be served immediately before it oxidizes. Also keep in mind that centrifugal juicers aren't suitable for greens like spinach or kale, but will do fine on citrus. If you are going to make mostly orange juice, the N65 would be overkill since citrus typically has enough ascorbic acid in it that oxidation isn't an issue. With the N65 you can store juice for later without losing much taste or nutrition from most any ingredient. The N65 will make up to 40 liters/hour, which would equate to 120 glasses of juice (330 ml). The N65 is definitely the fastest cold-press juicer out there, especially when considering how easy to operate and clean it is. On the other hand, it is quite a large investment compared to a centrifugal. I hope that helps :)
Motor speed for auger is 35 to 70 rpm. And top blade is 5 to 10 rpm. I don't know why Santos company always said motor is 5 to 80 rpm, It's mislead. In manual it's said motor 500 watt not 650 watt. a little bit confused.
Thank you for the interesting information. Did you time it manually? We took the information from Santos' website www.santos.fr/en/products/fresh-drinks/coldpressjuicer/coldpressjuicer/65/. The next time I test it, I'll time the drive shaft at min and max speed.
The price depends on the country where it is purchased. You can see it on our main English site here: www.eujuicers.com/santos-nutrisantos-n65-commercial-vertical-juicer It can be used for leafy greens. You can see it juicing spinach at 13:30.
Plz could u compare the best vertical juicer u have with sana horeca 909 with magimix ledoux xl centrifugal juicer rumors on the internet say magimix is beating slow juicer with its fast juicer
The Magimix Le Duo XL is a good juicer and we offer it on our site. However, centrifugal juicers like the Magimix are really in a different catregory in terms of yield and juice quality. Take a look at our video when we compare the 4 major types of juicing technology: ruclips.net/video/7GVvrCLNFwU/видео.html
Hi Atul. The price depends on the country. It is currently selling for 3940 euros here in Europe. I don't know if it is available yet in India. Shipping from Europe to India would be apprx. 200 euros, but the juicer would have European VAT taxes deducted (appr. 700 euros).
What type of produce is making it get stuck? The most likely would be beets or carrots. You can reduce the upper motor's speed - that will make produce go into the juicer more slowly. I've only managed to get this machine stuck once. I put in some really big carrots at full speed, but the motor automatically reversed and went forward which cleared it.
it's not the speed that makes it stop but the size the produce gets cut into. Just looking at the Santos, it's a great idea but badly executed. The Santos cuts the produce into larger chunks. That is ALSO a reason for the extreme low yield. I'd not buy this machine, not until those issues have been attended to by Santos's engineers. Perhaps in a few years time. But then, there's enough competition out there. Even the Goodnature table top for about 10K is a Much smarter choice. Think about, just 25% more yield, if your turnover is about a $1000 a day, that's $250/day more with a competitor juicer and if that juicer cost 5K more, that's just 20 days of operation to break even on the additional cost. Add afterwards? $$$.
may be half the price but with half the yield you get your ROI in no time with ANY competitor and then make money. The Santos will set you on ice and you'll keep borrowing money to run your shop. Do your maths.
you are mistaken, because you will often change expensive consumables for kuvings, the only plus is the work time, but it is not essential, then it is better to take the usual auger juicer of the latest generation
Using the Kuvings commercial now since a year and never replaced any part. Does a better job than the Santos and for a third of the price. Not sure why people don't do their homework and waste all that extra money. For me, the Kuvings balances the price/value ratio best.I guess the only alternative, next step up, is then a real hydraulic cold press.
It's understandable. We only had a day with this demo unit, and were a little rushed making this video. We weren't able to go as in-depth as we prefer, plus we had some technical issues with the filming itself. We're hoping to get another test unit for a longer period of time for a more comprehensive test.
